I groaned as I slowly woke up. Every part of my body seemed to ache and my head was pounding against the pillow. I hesitantly opened my eyes to my pink room, the light had been left on and it shone directly in them. Using some of the techniques I had learned from Kish, I imagined the light off. When I opened my eyes again, the bright yellow light had vanished and was left with the natural light from the glowing room.
I meowed loudly as I stretched like a cat and then sat up. With a yawn I pulled on my pink over shirt and black shoes and plodded to the door. As I stepped into the hall, I saw Kisshu also walking out of his room. With a groan, I quickened my pace so I could catch up the the green haired teen.
"I don't know where the kitchen is." I stated, hoping Kish would get that I was starving. "You brought me my food before."
With a tired chuckle, he motioned for me to follow him. With a half-hearted glare I reluctantly followed him through some of the few winding hallways until we got to what looked like the living area of a house. On one side was a room with couches and a couple short tables, and in the other, adjoining room, there was what looked like a kitchen, with a sink, some cupboards and an over and stove.
I walked into the kitchen and looked into a couple of the cupboards until I found a box of cereal and a bowl. Sitting down at the small breakfast nook, I plopped my spoon into the cereal and sighed tiredly. Kish looked over at me from the stove where he was cooking something with a grin.
"What's wrong Koneko-chan?" He asked in a teasing voice, "still tired?" I growled at him and laid my head on my arms.
A moment latter, Kish sat down next to me with a plate of eggs and started eating. Giving up on getting anymore sleep, I sighed loudly and sat up, finally eating my now soggy cereal. After a few awkwardly quiet minutes, Pai also walked into the kitchen with bags under his eyes and began to fix himself something as well.
"Mornin' Pai." Kish sing-songed getting up from his seat and walking over to the purple haired Cyniclon with a giant cheshire grin.
Pai growled low in his throat, trying to ignore the annoying alien, "go away Kisshu." He said tiredly, not even turning around to look at the shorter teen. I stifled a laugh at my seat and ended up choking on a piece of cereal and coughing. Pai jumped slightly at the stove and turned to where I was sitting. "Good morning Ichigo." He said curtly. I gave a strained smile towards him and looked back down at my bowl.
Pai continued talking, "since you're up, I would like to inform you that it would be wise to come into battle with us today. You don't have to fight or anything, really. But I would like you to 'kidnap' Mew Lettuce so you can tell someone who you are. I would like you to bring her back to the ship so I can explain. It will be quite-"
I coughed again, this time in surprise, "You want me to what?" I yelled glaring at the two Cyniclons in front of me.
Pai sighed and shook his head, "You don't have to show up for every fight, just one here and there. We need to stop any suspicions someone might have." Kish cringed slightly when my glare shifted fully to him, but nodded in agreement with Pai, a somber frown lining his features.
"It's for the best, just for now, Koneko-chan." He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them and looking directly at me, "I'm sorry, Ichigo. It's the only thing we could think of." I shook my head as a growl rattled up my throat. With another glare at the two, I turned my head and envisioned my room on Earth, teleporting there in an instant.
As my vision cleared, I was surrounded by pink once again. I looked around for a moment, at my bed, my desk and dresser and then my eyes found my many pictures of my friends and family I loved so dearly. I wanted to punch something, someone; I was a complete freak now, not just half human half Mew, but an Alien with Mew powers on the side.
I screamed and threw a glowing pink energy ball at a picture of Ryou, making all the pictures around it disintegrate as well as the picture I had aimed at. I summoned another energy ball and threw it at my old bed, where my favorite pink stuffed bunny lay innocently, then at the night stand next to my bed making the pink lamp burst and explode, making glass rain down onto me.
Running foot steps reached my ears, but I ignored them in my blind fury. I shot another energy ball at my mirror, shattering it into a million pieces. With another sharp scream, I was ready to destroy the whole room I was standing in, but a voice pulled me out of my rage.
"Stop!" I whirled my head towards the sound of the voice, my eyes still blazing with anger at nothing in particular. "What do you think you're doing? Get out of my daughters room!" My father said, his voice shaking from either fear or anger, I really couldn't tell.
My eyes softened as I took in his appearance, he had a suit and tie on, but the tie was loose around his neck, he must have just gotten home. He looked at me, his eyes hard and his hands on the baseball bat I just realized was there. I gave him a sad look, turning to the window, ready to fly away.
"Sorry," I whispered, a tear running down my cheek, and twisted my head back around so I could see my father's eyes one more time.
He dropped the bat he had been holding and stared at me eyes wide, "Ichigo?" I heard him utter right as I began to teleport away from him.
As I materialized in the main room of the ship, I saw Kish, Pai and Taruto hunched together in a circle around a small table with a map on it. Kish looked up, and when he saw me a large smile formed onto his lips, "Apple!" He said loudly, "you're here finally. What took you so long?"
I shrugged and sauntered over to the table, "I was down on Earth and ran into some stupid humans." I said with a casual air, trying not to raise alarm in the other three. I heard Kish tisk as he shook his head in a disapproving manner, still trying to hold back his all natural smirk.
Pai spoke before Kish though, "At other times, it would be best if you came right away instead of lolly-gagging off on Earth." I shrugged again as I crossed my arms over my chest and looked between the three. Tart was floating upside down with a bored look on his face, Pai was looking down at the map again and Kish was looking at me, trying to hold back a large grin making it's way onto his face.
"Okay," Pai said finally, "we're going to Ihoryrah park again. Kish, try to distract the Mews as they're on their way to the site, Ich-Apple, I've already told you what you need to do, and Tart and I will be at the fight site waiting for the three Mews." Kish and I nodded curtly and Kish teleported out with a small chuckle of laughter.
Pai was about to teleport away too, but Taruto stopped him, "wait," he said holding his hands up in the air, "how do you know there's only gonna three Mews?"
I cut Pai off before he could try to explain anything, "because, Mew Ichigo is missing and I'm kidnapping Mew Lettuce." I said with a fake laugh and turned to teleport to the cafe just like Kisshu. When no one stopped me, I smiled larger and imagined the dressing room of the cafe, slipping into a quick blackness until I saw the dressing room materialize in front of me.
As I expected, Lettuce was still in the dressing room, half dressed in her cafe uniform. I chuckled, "hey Lettuce." I said as I floated down to the ground, "how's the cafe work been going without me?"
