Dave woke with a start, his arm accidentally smacked his phone sending Rose's call to voice mail. Whatever. She could wait. I swear to god Bro I will end you for changing my ring tones again you complete asshole. He sighed. Dammit, another stupid ass dream. Why is it always a god damn dream... He sighed and sat up. He was still in his trunks from the pool and was laying on Johns bed. The door squeaked open only to reveal John was hovering cheerfully in the opening. He took one look at Dave's miserably unkempt attire and snickered.

"Pft dude you were out like a rock as soon as we got home. You look like shit, whats up ?" John said giggling at him. Dave sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Charming as always asshole, I'm just a bit tired." He shot sarcastically back at him. Dave's face flushed as he was reminded of his dream. Dave sat up and snagged his phone from the floor. He unlocked it and proceeded to text Rose, blatantly ignoring John.

D- hey sorry sis currently busy

R- Alright. Notify me when your available.

R- Also be careful around open windows.

D- sure thing .

"Dave, you dick, stop ignoring me!" Dave jolted as a pillow smashed into his face. He grinned slightly at the whiny teen. tick tock tick tock . Daves eyes widened. shit not now. why does it have to happen right now? shit shit shitick tock tick tock tiCK TOCK TICK FUCK. Johns face froze and Dave sighed. The world around him was frozen in time.

"Dammit." He still couldn't control it. He called them "time fits" . He smoothed out the odd red knight like garb that appeared whenever the time fits were triggered. Time would just freeze an he would just have to sit around and wait for something to trigger it again. That or if his friends were in any kind of danger he could just basically telaport into the way of that danger. He just had to remember to get rid of his body. It was a bit taxing. He got up and walked over to Johns frozen form. He leaned down and kissed his cheek. Then he went back to where he had been. Maybe one day it wont be a dream... He tried to get back into whatever pose he had been in as he felt time start back up. He quickly threw a pillow at John right as everything started up again. John faltered and failed his feeble attempt to doge.

"Whoa how the hell did you do that so fast?" John said dumbfounded. Dave grinned.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."He looked away and went to the window.

"Come on tell me Daveykins~" Dave sputtered at the ridiculous nickname.

"Haha hell no." John scowled childishly. Dave proceeded to ignore him and prop open a window. The cool breeze danced across his face. It was almost welcoming.

"Please Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaveeeeeeeeeeee." John pouted and whined towards Dave. Dave simply leaned farther out the window.

"Hey Dave be careful! you could fall out and were on the second floor!" Dave smirked and leaned out farther. He was almost half way out the window when he lost his grip and tumbled forward.

"SHIT!" He fell face first out the window but what should of been a quick painful fall to his death was stopped by a flurry of air and what looked like a streak of blue. Within seconds he was in the arms of the blue flash which turned out to be a guy in blue pj's. Dave panicked and gripped the guy's shirt. They were fucking hovering in the air.

"HOLLY DICK WHAT THE FUCK !" Dave screamed in a very unmanly voice.

"Dave chill out jeez." John. Holly dick the blue was John. Dave slowly looked up at John who grinned a bit.

" I couldn't exactly figure out how to tell you but I can kinda control wind." Dave shook off his surprise and grinned a bit.

"Good for you, I can control time. Sorta. Still working on the control thing." Johns eyes widened in a childish interest.

"Can I see?" John asked excitedly. Dave shook his head.

"It only really happens when someone I care about is in trouble or it triggers it's self." John frowned but then got a devilish gleam in his eye. Within 3 seconds they were hovering 700 ft higher.

"John don't you fucking dare." John grinned and let go of Dave and took a free fall dive backwards.

"SHIT JOHN!" Dave went into a dive through the air. tick tock tick tock tick toCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK SHIT. He shifted the time around John slowing and stopping his fall. Dave floated down to him and wrapped his arms around johns waist. He let the time slowly let him fall but knew that no matter how slow his timeline was doomed and a new Dave would take his place and hide his body. He sighed, kissed Johns neck and whispered goodbye softly into his ear. He felt the blinding pain of slamming into pavement at 70 mph. Time paused completely and he walked over and picked up his dead body. He kicked off the ground an hovered around the town until he found a lake. H dropped himself in. Quickly he went back to John, covered in the blood of his dead self. He lashed his hand out , literally gripped the fabric of time and unfroze it. John sat up grinning but as soon as he looked at Dave he almost puked.

"Oh god Dave what the hell!?" Dave looked away and walked towards Johns house. On the way he pulled off the blood soaked shirt and stared at it. He pulled out his zippo and lit it on fire. He burned away the memory of the dead Dave. A single tear slipped down his face over the sacrafice of the other but then he turned to John, anger plain on his face.

"Everytime i save someone I DIE JOHN. I FUCKING DIE." Johns eyes widened.
