The next morning Alex awoke to the chipper chirp of birds overhead on the sill above her third story bedroom window. It was as if the universe was intent on mocking her rapidly declining mood. Alex squinted her eyes at the harsh light that shone through her balcony window where she retreated as her eyes became too heavy to bear to keep open after crying all night and into the morning. She lay there with her phone balanced precariously balanced on the edge and she was tempted to push it over and make herself content with pretending her life wasn't falling apart. Deciding against Alex clutched the phone in her hand and gentle tapped it to wake the screen.

Five missed call and two text messages.

All five calls and a text message were from Mason and the final text belonged to Dean.

Note from the author,

Hello everyone! I have been inactive for about 3 years again lol, I apologize but seems to be the trend for me. Anyways, I am thinking of continuing my most popular story Rebel Russo and maybe even starting a new story, right now I am considering some fame plots, or college. Not quite sure but if you are interested in me continuing the Rebel Russo Reprise and or a new story leave a review specifying which one you're interested or if you're interested in both and what plots you would like to see explored in either story. I wrote a very brief continuation here to avoid breaking the rules, but feel free to give feedback or suggestions.I have an idea on how I might rap up Rebel, we are not thaaat close to the end yet so don't fret, but I am already scheming up some finales. Anyways let me know what you guys think and thank you for your loyalty and unwavering support.

Yours truly, CherryBlossomChai
