Chapter: 6
Ethan's P.O.V.
I fell onto the dirt, my back was aching and I think my head snapped to the side a bit. I groaned as I rubbed my neck. Link appeared and he pulled me up from the ground.
"Dude are you ok?" Link asks.
One question I hated. If you saw someone get kicked out the house, while through the air, something like common sense would tell you that a person isn't ok.
"I'm fine," I lie, my body was in pain, and so was my heart. I cant believe that Lena would kick me out her house like that. Maybe if I really loved her, I could let her go without a problem, but I didn't want to let her go without a fight.
I get up from the ground, and Link and I walk away from Ravenwood manor.
The sky up above was growing dark, and I could see the dark clouds encircling within each other. There was going to be a storm.
Lena's .
"It's your fault!" I cry, while I threw things across the room with my powers.
Ridley was dodging the objects, knives, spoons, plates. Anything that went in the air, she dodged. While sucking on her signature cherry lollipop.
"Oh cuz," Ridley held up a hand.
You know that things only happen for the best."
"You know I love Ethan!" I shout, while collapsing onto a couch. "There was no reason for him to get kicked out like that!"
Through my teary eyes, I could see John Breed at the front door, I really liked him, but I knew I loved Ethan more. John looked like he was going to leave.
"Call me when this situation is fixed," John stated. Then he slammed the door shut behind him.
Ridley threw her lollipop through the air, and it vanished before it could collide into a picture of Macon. She strutted towards me, and sat down on the couch right by my feet. I pulled my feet closer to my body, so I wouldn't be as close to her as she was to me.
"Lena you will kill him," Ridley stated. "Ethan is just a Mortal, their weak hearts can't tolerate that of a Caster's heart. If you continue to love him . . . He'll die, and you'll feel like an even bigger monster than what you already are."
She was right . . . But Ethan was my everything, and something as simple as love would just kill me if he died because of our love.
"That's why I brought John here," Ridley confessed. "Because he can take your mind off of Ethan, and believe me, I don't want Ethan to die because of your love for each other."
"You think so?" I sniffle, letting her take my hands into her own.
"I know so," Lena sighed. "Remember all those guys that died because of me? The same goes for you and Ethan, and I need you to move on before death takes him from you."
I guess I did need to let go of Ethan . . .
"C'mon," Ridley smirks, while pulling me up from the couch. "There's a Caster club down in the tunnels. It's time for you to enjoy the Caster life, with someone who isn't a Mortal."
