It was a week before Christmas and Noah and Finn were wrapping some gifts while Beth was at a friend's house. Suddenly they heard a knock on the door. The two ran down stairs and opened the door. What they saw in front of them surprised them. "Can we come in?" Finn and Noah looked at each other before Finn sputtered out a yes. The two girls walked in and removed their coats. "You two look...great" Rachel was in a white knee length dress with black flowers printed on it. Her hair was her natural brown and straightened. Quinn was in a vertically striped blue and white dress with a red belt. Her delicate blond hair was in a simple up do. "Thank you," Rachel said and Noah led them into the living room and went to go and make coffee. He came back with a tray of coffee.

"So not to be rude but why are you here?" Rachel took a sip of coffee and began. "We came to apologize. We were too caught up in ourselves and into the wrong thing. We just got caught in this web. On thanksgiving we behaved terribly and in front of Beth. We really are terribly sorry." Quinn stayed silent. Noah looked at Quinn her lips were tightly pursed. "Do you realize what happened after we left breadsticks? Beth cried for over an hour thinking you don't love her. We may accept your apology but you're going to need to do a lot more to make amends with Beth." Quinn nodded. "I understand and I never want her or Annie to feel like I don't love them anymore." Rachel took Quinn's hand. "We have an offer of sorts for you guys. Please don't bullshit us and tell us that you're "just friends" we aren't dumb. We also realize what good true parents you are for Beth. So we offer to be surrogates for you boys if you ever want it." Noah and Finn looked at each other and thanked the girls. "Look Quinn you can't just keep popping in and out of Beth's life. Annie's either." Quinn nodded and sipped her coffee. "I realize that now and I plan to reach out to Joe. I was thinking of maybe coming here one weekend a month"

Just then Beth ran into the door. "Daddy! Daddy Finn!" Beth walked into the room and got quiet. "Mommy, Auntie Rachel you're all better!" she ran to the girls and hugged them.
