Chapter 6-Scary

Laura's POV

I waited a few hours. What the heck was taking him so freaking long? It's just one movie. Oh no. Maybe something happened. Nah, maybe he got stuck in traffic or something. But something could have happened like... she got kidnapped! Maybe by a fan! Or an alien! Wait... Im acting stupid. He's probably fine... Hmm... Hmm... Hmm... I HAVE TO GO LOOK FOR HIM! I stand up and grab my coat but as soon as Im about to walk to the door, it opens. I let out a huge breath. It's Ross.

"What took you so long?" I asked. "I was trying to pick the scariest movie." he said in a 'duh' tone.

"It takes you hours to pick a movie?" I raise an eyebrow. He nods and grins. "Remind me to never watch another movie with you again." I put my coat back. "What did you pick anyways?" I sit back on the bed.

He gives me a devious smile. "Friday the 13th! Well, I don't think it's scary but Ryland thinks it is."

"Okay then, let's watch it." I say and Ross puts the movie on and sits on the bed with me. We watch it for a while and I find it very scary. Jason was killing this girl and everything was bloody and disgusting. I suddenly felt very sick and regretted ever putting that on the list. Out of nowhere there was a scream. I jumped and screamed with the T.V and hid under the covers.

"It's only a movie, Laura. It's fine." Ross assures me. I get out of the covers and I hear another scream making me go back. Ross pulls me out of the covers and his arm snakes around my waist pulling me closer. It made me feel a lot more safer. But I still blushed. "See? Nothing to worry about." he smiles softly. "Ross? You do know that today is Friday the 13th, right?" I raise an eyebrow. His face turns pale. "O-Oh... It's still okay... There's still nothing to worry about." he nervously laughs. I give him a look. Then the door opens.

"What was that?" I ask. He shakes his head. "It's nothing." he says nervously. I sigh and stand up. "Where are you going?" I turn around and smirk. "To get a drink." I turn around again but then I hear Ross blurt, "DON'T LEAVE ME!" I hold back a laugh. Then turn to face him once again. "Are you scared?" my smirk grows. Ross's eyes widen "Pfft, no! I meant... Be careful. Jason might be out there." he warns. I roll my eyes. "Okay, Ill try not to kill myself." I walk out the door. The smirk never leaving...

Ross's POV

I waited for Laura. It had been 20 minuets! I decided to go look for her. I stepped out of the room. I looked around and saw nothing but darkness. What happened to the power? I gulped. Here goes nothing. I walked over to the front desk. No one was there. Hm. Weird. I shrugged and kept looking. I entered the cafeteria. She wasn't there. I was about to leave but something fell from the table. A old baby doll. Creepy. Suddenly, I heard scary music. "Who's there?" I looked around in panic. I felt my phone vibrate and my ringtone blasted through the whole room. It was pretty 'LOUD'. Hehe, get it? No? Okay... I answered it.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hello, wanna play a game?"

I gasp and drop my phone. I backed away from it and bumped someone behind me. My body went stiff. I slowly turned around and saw Laura. But she was all bloody. I shrieked. "Ross, help me." Laura whimpered and fell. I caught her just in time. "Laura!?" I tried to wake her up but she was still unconscious. Suddenly I felt something stab my sides. I am going to die. "BOO!" I heard and screamed my girl scream. Dang it. I hate it when I scream like that.I turned and saw Vanessa laughing. "Vanessa!? Oh my god! I need your help! Laura is-" I looked back and Laura as I heard her laughing. "Gotcha!" Laura kept laughing. I girly screamed again. "Laura!?" I was so confused. Then it hit me like a brick. They pranked me.

"What. The. Heck." I glared at them both but they didn't stop laughing. "How did you even do that?" I ask. "We just shut the power off, knocked over the baby doll, put scary music on, called your phone, and covered Laura with fake halloween blood. We keep a bucket of it in the bathroom. We just love to scare our doctors and nurses." Vanessa says. I gape at them "Whoa..." I breath out. They're still laughing. "You should have seen your face! Priceless!" Laura says between laughs. I roll my eyes. "You know, Ill get you back, right? And how did you even get my number?" I ask. "Riker gave me his and I called to know what was yours so we could prank you." Vanessa wipes a tear off her eyes and clutches her stomach. "I am soooo gonna get you two." I warn and they shake their heads. "And how will you do that?" Laura asks. "You'll see." I give them a mysterious look and laugh evilly. Their laughter died down and they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Laura raises her eyebrow. "Okay?..."

So so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry! I hope you guys are still there. Okay, now I feel bad. I PROMISE from now on that I will edit faster. If I don't then I understand if you won't read this anymore. But I hope you guys review. Even though I don't deserve it. Sorry again.
