First: I don't own the Harry Potter universe or characters, I do own however any OC's.

I recommend reading chapter 49

"You're a mess, I confess, I despise you in the best kind of way."

Chapter: Nearly Snapped Her Quill In Half

25th February 1994

"You don't hate me anymore, do you?" He more or less stated smugly, that insufferable grin on his face growing.

She glared at him, she hated it when he did this, putting her in a corner like this. How could she hate him, she had basically risked her life to save him? Did she want to screw him? Not anytime soon, he was still a creep, but at least he wasn't constantly trying to get in her pants and he had saved her life.

And maybe she did find their conversations interesting and he could be charming, when he wanted to be. And just maybe there were moments when she did feel attracted to him, but she'd never give him that satisfaction.

His smile infuriated her, acting like knew everything about her, like she was his.

It drove her insane sometimes.

She realised she was biting her lip, she quickly stopped this and sneered at him. "Well what do you think idiot?" It was embarrassing, he was right she had been wrong and he knew it.

He didn't even reply, the smug bastard just smiled and turned back to his work. Her grip on her quill tightened, god he was full of it.

Sometimes he made her want to scream and break everything in her sight, she hated how he got her like that, no one else had that effect on her. Hell even her father didn't irritate her as much as Adrian did.

She didn't hate him, because in a twisted way she liked him, he irritated her, challenged her and made her stumble with her words. She'd never tell him or anyone, but she liked that about their relationship, she could scream and shout, lose control and not give a damn what he thought about her, because he didn't care.

He was not a nice person, but then again, she wasn't that much of a nice person either. She was more considerate and had a lot more tact. But she wasn't a saint.

She knew this and he knew it to, she'd never tell him, but he'd know and that infuriated her.

She nearly snapped her quill in half, when she saw him smile at her.
