-Loki's P.O.V-
Loki grumbled as he left Katherine's cell. He hated feeling so open, he hated when others knew just what to say to get to him. What would she know? She didn't know what he went through, she doesn't know the betrayal of the people one would consider their family. How dare she look at him with false understanding? He grit his teeth annoyed because what she said was true. As the God of Mischief, he was able to tell when one was lying to him. That was the very reason he was always so violent with Thor.
He sighed and tried to calm his thoughts and not let his aggravation show. He needed to have a calm and collected mind otherwise he would do something irrational. He walked past the many scientist, he was reminded of the plan that would soon take place and he smirked. Soon, he will rule this world and show Odin that he was fit to be a king. To prove he was better than Thor in all ways. He smirked as this new mindset came into his mind as he walked into his personal quarters to relax for a bit.
As he entered his quarters, he made his way to the bed and sat on it. He sighed as he was finally able to relax. He laid down and closed his eyes for some rest as he put up a barrier around him so he wouldn't be disturbed. He welcomed the little sleep that came after.
-A few days later-
Katherine curled into herself as the hunger was slowly starting to affect her sanity. Her fangs had lengthened and were more noticeable and her eyes were glowing. She looked around the cell and noticed she was alone like she always had been for the past few days. She slowly sat up and made her way to one part of her cell. "Hello? I-is anyone there?" she called out weakly. She needed to feed soon or she would go mad. The door opened and an annoyed looking guard poked his head in. "What do you want now woman? Quit complaining, you're getting on my last nerve!" Katherine glared at him "I need to feed, my strength is leaving me and I could die!"
The man scoffed and mumbled "Who cares?" before closing the door and leaving Katherine alone. Katherine slid down the bars weakly and curled into herself again. She was starving and she was hoping some relief would come soon. She didn't move as she heard the door open again. "Nothing to do but sleep in here right?" A smooth voice said. She turned to see it was Loki who had spoken. Katherine sighed, she did not need to see him at the moment when she was weak because she knew he would make fun of her for it.
"Ignoring me won't get you anywhere either" Loki smirked. Katherine sat up and glared at him "I'm not in the mood today Loki"The God grinned, enjoying the fact that he was annoying her. "Oh? And why is that?" He asked.
Katherine hissed at him "I have been denied sustenance and I am weakening, you should know very well what I am and what will happen when I cannot feed." Loki smirked "Yes, I am aware of your…condition. I was simply wondering when you would break. I am curious as to what you might do to any unfortunate mortal who might come near you at the wrong time."
Katherine closed her eyes and shivered. She didn't want to think of what would happen, she didn't want to kill the humans by accident. "I suppose it's good that I am behind these bars then isn't it?" she said meeting the God's eyes. Loki chuckled "I suppose, I wouldn't mind getting rid of a few useless Midgardians" he smirked.
Katherine glared at him "Of course you wouldn't, you are the God of Mischief, what good would you be if you didn't cause some sort of chaos? I may be hungry but not enough to kill someone." She stiffened as the scent of blood reached her nose. She quickly turned and saw that the blood was coming from Loki. He had cut his palm and the inviting red was calling to her. She quickly stood and made her way over to him. Loki smirked and held his palm out for her.
Katherine paused and looked up at the trickster. "Why are you offering your blood to me?"Loki smirked "I am simply giving you what you wish, what is wrong with that?" Katherine scoffed "Everything, what do you want?" Loki simply grinned "Your cooperation" Katherine frowned "Cooperation in what? Helping you enslave the earth?" Loki grinned "Precisely" Katherine laughed "What makes you think I would help you do that?"
Loki cupped her cheek with his bloody palm making Katherine bite her lip at the intoxicating smell. "Oh I think you will do just about anything in order to be sated" Katherine scoffed and pulled away from him. "I'm not that hungry" Loki smirked "Very well, I will come again in a few days' time and see if you have changed your mind" he said before turning away and leaving her alone again.
-A few days later-
Katherine was laying on the floor of her cell hugging herself. She was nearly going mad with hunger, Loki had been purposely avoiding her cell and not allowing her to feed so that she could join him to help take down the Avengers and enslave the world. At this point, she was afraid to see him because she knew if he drew blood, she'd agree to anything he wanted if it meant she could satisfy her hunger.
That was something she was going to try to avoid even if it killed her. She stiffened when she heard the turn of a lock and she was terrified of what she would find if she turned around. Taking a deep breath, she slowly turned to look over her shoulder. To her horror, she was met face to face with a certain smirking God of Mischief.
Loki smirked as he watched with glee as Katherine quickly turned her back to him and shrank back into herself. He walked around her cage and continued to watch her squirm. "Well now, it seems someone is about ready to accept my offer" he grinned. "Never!" Katherine hissed. Loki chuckled "It's only a matter of time Katherine, you are so close to your limit, I honestly don't think you'll be able to restrain yourself anymore."
He grinned as she turned to glare at him before going back to trying to ignore him. "You can ignore me all you want, but I have one thing that you can't ignore" he grinned. "I'm not listening to you, I'm not going to join you and that's final!" Katherine said still refusing to look up at the God. Loki simply shrugged "You could try to be the good guy and refuse all you want, but we both know that you're at your breaking point"
Katherine bit her lip nervously. 'Please don't do it, please don't' she thought to herself hoping he wouldn't push her. She knew that he would use her hunger against her because that's just how he was, what kind of God of Chaos and Mischief would he be if he didn't use ones weaknesses against them? If she didn't chose to join him herself, he would force her to by using her temporary weakness against her.
She refused to join him willingly, that would mean she would betray Thor. If Loki wanted her on his team, he would have to force her cooperation one way or another. She was losing her control, and she was afraid he would win.
