Soifon bolted upright, her body was drenched in sweat and she could feel her heart pounding against her rib cage and she on the verge of hyperventilating. She glanced down at her trembling hands after establishing she was back in her bedroom though she didn't quite believe it was possible for an entirely different reason. This time Soifon was one hundred percent certain she had just experienced death.
Soifon moved her trembling hands over her arms to check that she was real and made of flesh and bone, she clutched at her heart through her chest to make sure that it was working despite being able to feel it beating adrenaline throughout her body. She collapsed back into her bed to try and regain control of herself while the events of the chamber replayed in her mind. A problem had happened that much Soi was sure of when she had seen smoke erupt out of nowhere. Soon after that there had been a loud popping sound to her right and one of the metal panels flew off and slammed directly into her head.
Soifon raised a hand to the side of her head to check if the injury was still there and she couldn't even feel a scratch from where it had struck her. The next thing she remembered was Yoruichi appearing by the doorway and Soi signalled that she was alright, finally a hissing sound began to grow louder and louder as Yoruichi began to pull the door open and last thing Soifon recalled seeing as she felt each of her limbs ripped from her body and crushed into nothing by an overwhelming pressure was a blinding bright light. Again Soifon patted herself down to check that every part of her was real and working correctly now that her breathing was back under her control although she didn't trust her legs to hold her weight anytime soon so she remained in bed for a while longer. Perhaps a little longer than intended since she soon drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
"C-Captain? Are you in there?" Omaeda stammered from the other side of shoji doors, not brave enough to dare enter his Captain's quarters without permission.
"What is it Omaeda?" Soifon grumbled back though the haze of sleep, more annoyed at herself for actually falling asleep again when she noticed a strange yet familiar weight on top of her.
"I was – the men were – we were all just wondering where you were Captain and Lady Yoruichi even tried to enter your quarters but I turned her away." Omaeda boosted through the doors proudly. Soifon looked down at Yoruichi in her cat form curled up on her stomach.
"Did you now?" Soifon watched as Yoruichi lifted her head and grinned back Soifon.
"Yes I did Captain and you'll be pleased to know that the men have been continuing with their daily routines." Omaeda told her through the shoji door.
"Of course they would, they are my men, they know their duty and right now you are failing yours by bothering me. Go back to work Omaeda." Soifon ordered and she lay back down and started to run her hand over Yoruichi's fur who purred in return.
"It's unlike you to have a lie in," Yoruichi yawned "Not that I mind of course."
"The past four days have been… difficult." Soifon omitted the truth, not quite ready to deal with the repercussions of telling Yoruichi that the past four days have been the same day repeating itself. Soifon felt Yoruichi stretch and move further up the bed as she spoke.
"Then I'm glad you're allowing yourself this little break." The unmistakable clouds of Yoruichi transforming back into her human form filled the room and slowly dissipated, Soifon did her best to remain calm when she felt Yoruichi's naked form press against her body. Soi risked taking a look and took a sharp intake of breath at the sight of Yoruichi advancing further up the bed, a seductive smirk curled across Yoruichi's soft lips until her face was level with Soifon's. "I'm sure I can think of many…many…ways…" Yoruichi moved her lips closer to Soi's ear, "to help you relax." Yoruichi pronounced each word slowly and purposely made sure that her lips grazed against Soi's skin.
"Yoruichi..." Soifon breathed out unable to resist kissing the tanned Goddess but Yoruichi pulled away before she had the chance, teasing her little bee.
"Let me tend to your every need." Yoruichi eased herself between Soi's thighs and ran her hands down Soifon's body, making sure to take her time when her fingers passed over Soifon's breasts, hips, thighs and pelvis through the bed sheets. Yoruichi's seductive grin grew wider when she saw the lust spark into life deep within Soi's eyes and from hearing it in her moans of pleasure from every touch Yoruichi gave her."What do you want me to do?" Yoruichi whispered, already aware of what her lover wanted right now.
"I want you…and I don't want you to stop." Soifon managed to form the words as Yoruichi pulled the covers away so that only a robe stood between her and Soifon's body.
"I do not intend to stop." Yoruichi reassured and the tanned Goddess remained true to her word and did not stop loving Soifon for several hours even when Soifon felt like she had been taking way beyond her body's limit. The only thing Soi could do was gasp for her every breath when Yoruichi was finally satisfied that both of their lusts had been fulfilled.
"Wow…oh wow…" Soifon gasped while Yoruichi watched Soifon with a content smile and a dreamy look in her eyes.
"I'll be very surprised if you can walk after that." Yoruichi teased.
"I haven't got the energy to sit up let alone stand." Soifon admitted as she tried and failed to grab hold of Yoruichi when she moved to get off the bed. "Where you going?" Soifon complained at the loss of Yoruichi's body being beside hers, keeping her safe.
"I was going to get you a drink." Yoruichi giggled and leaned back down to plant a kiss on Soi's forehead but Soifon shifted upwards so that she caught Yoruichi's lips with her own. "I thought you didn't have any energy left." Yoruichi chuckled when Soifon attempted to hold Yoruichi in place but Yoruichi could tell there was no real power behind her grip.
"I don't want you to leave." Soifon whispered in earnest since Yoruichi was exactly everything she needed to move past the memory and pain she experienced from having died which still haunted Soifon more than she cared to admit even to herself. Yoruichi froze at the sudden change in Soi's voice and she realised how vulnerable her little bee felt and looked like right now.
"Then I won't leave your side." Yoruichi smiled warmly and shifted her body back beside Soifon and pulled the covers over them both. "What's gotten into you?" Yoruichi couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Soifon snuggling into her and she gladly wrapped her arms around her little bee.
"Didn't want you to go." Soifon repeated with a muffled voice from her head pressed into Yoruichi's body.
"I know…it's just rare for you to act like this." Yoruichi tried to remember the few times Soifon had been like this with difficulty since she was always putting on a brave face no matter what the situation.
"Remember how I said the past four days have been difficult?" and Soifon sighed when her she couldn't bring herself to tell Yoruichi yet again. Soi knew she was giving into weakness by not confronting her problems but what was one day with Yoruichi when she literally had forever to work out what was happening to her. "They've been really difficult." Soifon muttered as she pulled Yoruichi into deep, powerful kiss and took great pleasure in feeling Yoruichi's lips against her own once more.
"Then forget those days…" Yoruichi whispered through the kiss, "Forget everything except me. Focus everything on me." And with those words Soifon did forget everything but the woman she loved in front of her now that when midnight passed and the day reset Soifon didn't feel sad or frustrated, she was happy from having spent the entire day with Yoruichi that she practically sprang out of bed.
You're in a good mood despite our predicament. Suzumebachi buzzed energetically.
And I'm glad to hear you are too. Soifon thought as she picked up her zanpakuto and secured it around the back of her waist; I have a score to settle with Urahara.
Oh this is going to be fun. Soifon swore she could her zanpakuto vibrate from the energy Suzumebachi was creating from what Soifon planned to do.
"Good morning Captain Soifon. I hope I haven't kept you waiting too long." Kisuke smiled brightly at her like they were old friends despite the woman looking like she was prepared for a battle as she stood in the centre of the testing grounds.
"Not at all." Soifon positioned her hand on the handle of her zanpakuto and savoured every second it took for her unsheathe her blade, "I've wanted to do this for a long time." And there's no better time to do it either. Soifon smirked at this thought since no matter what the outcome, everything will reset when the sun sets or if she should die, but I don't plan on letting him kill me again.
"When the leader of the Onmitsukido draws her sword, an execution battle is about to begin, right?" Kisuke dipped his head upon realising Soi's intention; his hat cast a shadow over his face, "Are you sure about this Captain?"
"Urahara Kisuke!" Soifon declared with her sword pointed directly at him. "Draw your sword or die where you stand!"
A/N: I kinda lost focus writing this chapter a little since one of the first scenarios I pictured when I was writing the first chapter was an image of Soifon picking a fight with Omaeda and ended up with her hiding from the other soul reapers as they chased Soifon till the day reset. I also liked the idea with her confronting Kisuke as well so I'm trying to bring that back into play.
What I'm trying to say is sorry for this chapter feeling a bit out of place compared to the others but I promise the next one should be back to the usual quality (hopefully)
P.S. A quick sorry to you, Phantom - I know you had your hopes up for Yoruichi getting caught in the time loop as well this chapter :P
