This is a chapter.

Yay.

This is a really small author's note.

'The Rising Threat' will be on a small hiatus as I try to find inspiration for a new chapter.

"Wow, this place looks amazing!" Mors said as they were walking.

The trip to Forever Fall Forest was quite nice, the trees and grass were the same color of red, the trunks were grey. A small group of teams were following Glynda Goodwitch.

"Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful." Glynda informed the students.

She then reminded the students of their objective: red sap, Glynda was here just to make sure they didn't die. She instructs the students to stick by a teammate, then told them to rendezvous to the spot they were in right now at 4:00PM.

Mors was carefully getting the sap from the tree before he heard a 'slurp' sound and found a jar empty in Nora's hands. Ren sighed. They were getting back to work. It wasn't long before they heard screams.

"Ursa! Ursa!" Russel screamed. He ran into Yang, who picked him up. "Where?" She said.

"Back there! It's got Cardin." He pointed into the forest.

This was all he heard before he started running towards the direction. Soon enough he saw the Ursa Major beating Cardin. Mors decided to just stand there, he knew what already happens.

He is just here to make some ample amount of difference.

And soon enough it will be big differences while still steering into Sors's embrace.

It was not allowed for other gods to interfere with the God of Fate's plans or orders.

Anyway, back to the fight. Pyrrha, Ruby and Weiss was standing by Mors's side. Weiss drew Myrtenaster to help a struggling Jaune, but Pyrrha stopped her. Mors looked on, sure enough Jaune did a slash, but left himself open. Pyrrha used her semblance, polarity, to redirect his shield to block the Ursa Major's paw. Jaune decapitated the Ursa.

At the end, Ruby and Weiss were confused. Mors looked blank.

Pyrrha explained it to them.

"Well, Ruby has her speed, you and your glyphs, your pocket dimension. My semblance is Polarity."

"Whoa, you can control poles." Ruby said in awe.

The god snickered and the ice queen corrected.

"No, you dunce! It means she has control over magnetism!

"Oh, magnets are cool too." The rose responded.

Mors was holding his hand to his face to cover his smile sheepishly. He then walked away to where Ms. Goodwitch was.

'Hmm.' Mors thought.

LINE BREAK-TIME SKIP

"The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss exclaimed. Mors nodded with a smile.

He ran into team RWBY near the docks where the Vacuoan students would arrive. He was waiting for Vita.

FLASHBACK

Mors was walking down the docks passing by a lot of people before he saw the familiar colors of red, white, black and yellow. He jogged to them.

"Oh, didn't think to find you here." Mors said.

The four turned around.

"Oh hey! Barren." Red.

"Hello." White.

"Hi." Black.

"Sup?" Yellow.

"So what are you doing here?" Weiss asked.

"Oh, he's waiting for his girlfriend." Yang said.

The other three looked at Yang in shock, then at Mors.

He sweatdropped.

"Oops?" He said while scratching his head.

END FLASHBACK

There was the usual outburst after that. It never gets old.

Team RWBY was conversing with each other, Blake soon revealed Weiss's true plan: to spy on the students so she could have an upper hand in the tournament.

That was a bit evil and effective.

They passed by a stolen dust shop. The information they have gathered was that the detectives assumed the White Fang were behind it and they weren't getting paid enough.

This is why gods don't have funds, just paperwork for the exceptional.

After hearing Weiss's outburst of how the White Fang were just degenerates. Blake defends them, stating they were misguided. Mors wanted to say something that would make them reconsider and make their fates be more foggy.

But those words never came out, if it did, there would be dire consequences.

'It was all about timing,' said Mors's brother Sors. 'That is how luck was born, fate and timing.'

"Catch that Faunus!"

Team RWBY plus one went to the cry of help. They saw a monkey Faunus pass by a pair of sailors. But Mors was focused on one thing. A girl being the pair of sailors.

She was wearing a white jacket with a yellow undershirt, white jeans, yellow boots and yellow fingerless gloves. She had skin as white as Mors's. Her eyes was a bright emerald, her hair was a long as Mors's but was blonde. The most important thing about her was.

She was the goddess of Life, Vita.

Yang noticed Mors and saw he was looking at the girl. She realized it was the childhood friend he was talking about and gave him a slight push. Mors obliged and walked slowly towards the girl. Team RWBY left shortly.

The more he got closer, the more he saw details. Her breasts was, thankfully, not as large as Yang's but was average. Her slim body was average too.

Amare could do better though.

The girl noticed him and smiled brightly.

Mors too smiled.

She too walked slowly towards him.

They stopped went they got close enough

It went like this.

A conversation of Life and Death.

"Hello." Greeted Death.

"Hi," Life responded, "did I take too long?" She asked.

"Not at all." Death answered.

They smiled.

Mors was about to execute his plan to strike first.

But alas, Vita had more experience than him. Must've took lessons from Amare.

She lunged for his arm, giving it a one arm embrace. Mors felt the softness of her arm, causing him to be red with embarrassment.

Damn, she was good.

"Well, mr. gentleman. Care to escort me to your room? I do hope Ozpin won't mind." She said all too casually. Vita nuzzled her head into his shoulder.

Poor Mors's mind was going haywire with embarrassment.

"U-Uh yeah, I-I give a quick call to O-Ozpin." Mors stammered, he was outmatched.

The headmaster said there was no problem at all. The pair then walked to the air pads to Beacon.

After a while, Mors spoke.

"You used the 'I'm taken' excuse. Right?" He asked.

Vita laughed, "Except I was less vague and said I had a 'boyfriend'." She said, causing Mors to be embarrassed.

She then let go of his arm and placed her hand in his.

Ah yes, Life and Death were inseparable. If they were...

It wouldn't be for very long.

Mors has his girlfriend join him. All that planning went to waste.

I'm not very good with romance. So it will be very small-scale. Like some hand-holding, hugs and kisses. No beds yet. Their bodies are too young.

Please review and suggest.

No flames please.

Edit: There was a little hiccup there. didn't save my draft. Had to start all over again.
