The Tesseiga previously thrown, was fiercely attempting to penetrate the binds that held the barrier in place causing the surface to cackle violently for a moment before the blade's point slowly made its entrance till past its hilt , then closing it once more , as it met with the inner wall of the protective barrier's other side , merging with the miko's power , and then changing it's will to the fang's intent , which ironically was also it's master's .

Leaves crackling behind him , made one of his eyes gave away to a maddening glare to the source of the sound while watching the threat in front of him towards what was his to protect . Contrary to everyone's shock it was the exact person he'd expected to be standing there with the rancid reek of death surrounding the walking dead, Inuyasha snarled all the more for the one making his notions stand correct.

For it was Kikyo..

" Let it be a warning , move one more step closer to her I will kill you ! I don't know nor give a fuck what the hell mate told you , but whatever it is stops here , for I won't allow it !The same goes for you wolf , she is mine , and nothing is going to take her away from me !" The demon standing in Inuyasha's place growled threateningly his intent , and promised consequences if she fails to listen.

The taunt pull of a bow whined , as its bow was fitted across it , in its place , humming with brilliant energy sparking against it, and readied in its aim in response . Upon receiving its answer , the beasts aura surrounding the stiffly poised to attack form rushed to the surface , while at the moment , Inuyasha still appeared to be still himself , but his mane covering his eyes with his flowing silver whipping with the emerging energy , thus forcing non-existent winds to fluctuate against the tense stillness. In the proof that the hanyou was no longer in control , a angry spat broke free hoarsely from one's scowling lips .

"Don't be too sure that the hold over me you once held, be it you still possess through me . " With his no bullshit statement , it was proven true with it's bloodied eyes boring into the surrounding's bathed in the blood it craved to assure of its mate's survival , and unlike other times coming about to save itself , instead was showing itself to save hers.

Turning around on her heel slowly once mere moments passed while taking in the sight gained by looking towards the other miko's barrier, and acquiring the knowledge that her time to act wasn't now because all was silent , instead of hearing the request from Kagome . Therefore Kikyo resumed the choice to step away without a fight for now until such request was , now following the path chosen disappearing within the trees.

Although the immediate reaction to his threat in his favor didn't necessarily completely calm his concerns for his mate , only lessened them slightly for a time, but knew that because of Kikyo's haste departure most likely meant it wasn't time for whatever the fuck Kagome wanted of her to do yet. Though it wouldn't matter cause in due time once his mate awakened a lot of damn things were set to change , and Inuyasha wouldn't accept anything but.

The wolf still stood where he was when it all started , merely watching dazedly at the barrier that Kagome was in with the hilt of Tetsuseiga's hilt deceivingly hanging from , and the clash of power visually crackling about slightly , but slowly fading . Sango , and Miroku were stilled in their places as well but thier eyes were frantically looking from where Kikyo , and Naraku with his evil minions once stood to Kouga's , as well as Kagome's , and the hanyou's placement , to figure out the deal in all this , along with the hanyou himself with his golden with the redness receding , but hadn't left Kagome's gaze , or at least where he knew he was.

Breathing harshly, as to gain any other threats nearby , finding none the hanyou , now returning to himself first with leaving one eye on where his mate was then the other upon the wolf , Inuyasha hoarsely demanded the monk , Miroku's attention.

"Miroku stay here , make sure that the stupid wolf don't get any dumb ideas regarding his placement , be sure that he doesn't move from, that spot , or else it's you that will be responsible, and I really don't wanna hurt you , but I will if he moves from that spot . Understood?"

Recieving a quick nod from the monk even if he wasn't sure as to why himself , but the hanyou cared not what Miroku knew or not , not anymore. It was then that his fierce gaze ended up on the kit , Shippo. To him , Inuyasha had yet a bigger strict demand for him to complete so the hanyou can achieve the task needed for him to finish before he made his next move .

"Shippo, you make sure mate stays here until I return . I am tired of this bullshit , and I assure you that it will end , but I need to be sure of some things first . So it's rather simple you let her leave from that very spot , your dead , and you can tell her that too .I don't give a flying fuck ! You got it?"

Once receiving the very same from the fox kit as he had the monk before him , the hanyou Inuyasha quickly turned to the Slayer , Sango with eyes breeding the consequences of if she didn't heed to what he desired wildly within his orbs , bleeding with malice , and proven by his quite bristled posture.

" Sango walk with me now !" the hanyou , Inuyasha ordered with the slayer following obediently behind the peturbed half demon currently fluctuating obviously seen by just the furious flickering of his normally steady eyes.

Upon coming to a not far away spot , as to where they were out of ear shot , but where the hanyou can still see what was happening , with one eye still attending to where Kagome still laid within her barrier. Then when knowing Sango was in the same proximity , the hanyou spoke.

"Alright , Sango you have my attention, and so does the coniving little bitch down there , but mate isn't doing alot of talking at the moment so tell me , what I don't know , now ..."

" Inuyasha , when had Kagome even been to you , a mate? I mean what about Kikyo?Isn't it just a bit unfair that now when you know something is wrong to change your mind when its convenient , just so you can in the end achieving the jewel .. "Sango gaining a slight confidence to speak her mind , as it was almost a insult for the hanyou's current behavior towards everyone when it was his choice to begin with , starting it all , and now when it turns bad wants to turn back on it.

"Slayer, it wasn't meant to be this way , and you know it . The only thing you all didn't know was Kagome's place in regards to me , and that was because I purposely did so , for my own reasons, but it matters not , especially if mate dies. Kagome has always been mate , and I refuse to let her chose to just die , even for a stupid piece of shit jewel that I have been caring less and less for , as this shit goes on., Now Sango tell me what you know , that obviously I do not ."

Although prior to the slayer's words being uttered , the hanyou's motions to silence her momentarily with his clawed pointer finger being drawn upward from within those of his right hand , for Inuyasha's ears had started to pick up on something nearby, a noise.

Within the small clearing that the others waited for Inuyasha's return , became the birthplace of something more sinister , and it came from within the barrier itself that their miko friend was placed , by Kagome herself. Within the mere encircling embodiment surrounding her swirled a darkening presence inside it , as it seemed to be coming from the one side the others couldn't see , and shared itself in the same space as Kagome, Inuyasha's newly foud to be mate.

The Tetsuseiga then slid ,still within the boundary of the barrier, slowly downward until it hit the hard soil with a soft clang . Although prior to the very barrier gave away to the very thing that it concealed inside , a distinct familiar blur became known , as Inuyasha then was seen when it did finally fell, and grasped ahold of the miko , while ignoring the painful spikes now seemingly running down his spine by the contact just by holding her close, but it mattered not for like the others, his intended mate will see in time.

The sight following shocked all of whom was watching within the small enclosure in which they stood as the hanyou as he held her quickly lowered his head , burying it within her inky locks , bearing a wicked smirk, then vioiously marking her as his , as Kagome should've been , to further prevent his bitch from leaving him, for he forbid it. A pained gasp reached his ears , and looking down Inuyasha found the very same chocolate orbs only now nothing was hidden in their farewell depths from within his firmly disapproving ones.

"No Kagome, I'm afraid that you are not leaving me just yet mate .. I forbid you from breaking your promise to stay by my side , and now you bear the mark to prove it . "

"But why ..? When you will have everything like it was before me , like it would be if I never came, and without the jewel's , or Naraku's interruptions.. You could be happy , but instead you had to be stupid , and be hero, in saving what clearly doesn't need saving , to tie yourself to me for what?" Kagome's voice bled unbearable pain , as it stood in her eyes his actions only destroyed the only way known to her to end it all without killing him in the process, but as the hanyou is finding true .

Those ties made to bind them as one , as mates came with a cost to the hanyou too, for he too was sharing with his mate everything that was him, and in turn Inuyasha received her. Although with Kagome , Inuyasha also acquired the darkness trying to consume his mate, and the agonizing pain that came with him joining with her almost took him to his knees.

"Ka-Kagome.."The hanyou whined when feeling her weakened presence join with his in response from now knowing what she felt , and for so very long, but still never loosened his hold upon her, only tightened ignoring the sparks that came from it.

Although before the hanyou finish the word claiming that of his mates name , the one possessing it had collapsed under pressure from the sudden unexpected intrusion within the hanyou's embrace.

"Iam sorry, Kagome . I shouldn't have denied your place as I had , but I am here now , and it won't change anything when you wake cause I ain't going anywhere, then again neither are you, not without me ! Inuyasha visibly shook , saying this within her ears ,as his mind played just what it was that his mate had planned to do to end it as Kagome intended , at the cost of his mate's very life, and the destruction of her soul.

"No..." The hanyou further shuddered, as his mate's form was pulled closer to his slightly trembling taunt body, in order in soothing his fear for his mate, and that something rare because he hated the emotion , but for her , with the sight burning itself permanently apart of him , sickening him so...

Therefore , Inuyasha couldn't help the torrent of deadly concern that coursed through his veins upon receiving the knowledge of what became his new dead set priority on ending , preventing it from coming to pass.
