I'm back from Florida! Both plane rides down I had were smooth. Anyways, I put into my profile some of my favorite authors I've come across while reading. Please don't get offended if you're not in there. I mainly add my favorite authors if I like their writing style and if I like a large majority of their stories. Otherwise I just favorite the ones I like. Same with the stories.

On with the story! Oh, if you don't like this story, no ones forcing you to read it. Don't come crying to me. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Young Justice. (Only in my dreams . . . )

In the dimension with the Team:

Batman led the group of heroes to the door of the hanger. Outside the door, he turned around to face the Team. He spoke, and said,

"Myself, Black Canary, Red Tornado, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Nightwing, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Superboy will be coming with me."

At that, protest rose up. Lagoon Boy said, "You're letting that traitor-"

"What about Red Arrow and Arsenal-"

"Why do they get to go-"

"Why can't we go-"

"You said-"

Batman sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He fixed them all with a hard stare.

"Nightwing, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis will be going because they are the ones with alternate younger dimensional versions of themselves. Red Arrow is not going because he cannot find a sitter for Lian, and has just gotten back from a long night of patrol. The younger Red Arrow most likely does not know he is a clone, or since the timeline is alternate he could even not be a clone. There is even the possibility that he isn't a clone, but he is the mole, due to mind control and hypnosis."

Batman continued, "Further more, you may not go simply because the younger Team does not know you. They do not know if you will harm them or help them. They will be wary of you. Unless they are debriefed before they meet you, it is likely that they will attack you. Nor do they even know your names or temperament. They would not know how to act around you. They may accidently offend you."

Batman went on. He was determined to win this argument, and then bury any possible chance of resistance.

"You will be briefed in the morning about where the younger Team stands in history. You can figure out their temperament yourselves. Training exercise to adapt and adjust. As why myself, Black Canary, and Red Tornado are going you might not be aware, but before this team had senior members and older members to act as trainers and to be the guardian over eighteen watching minors, Black Canary was the Team's trainer."

At that, the Team(older version) looked baffled.

"Red Tornado was the den mother. Tornado was to be the League member 'on call' so to speak. I was the one who deployed the Team on missions. While I still do that, my role in it is not as large as it used to be. And as for why Nightwing is going, Lagoon Boy-" Lagoon Boy looked embarrassed at being called out."-other than the fact that he has a younger version of himself, I trust Nightwing."

That came as a surprise. Batman wasn't one who normally said that stuff aloud.

"I have known him since he was eight, when I started training him. He became a hero when he was nine, and has been a hero for nine years, nearly ten now. Considering the fact that he has been a hero longer than you, Nightwing knows the rules of the game. Nightwing has more experience than some of the League members. Do not get cocky merely because you have all but taken down the Light. If he choose to, Nightwing could take you down quickly. He has been going easy on you in training due to your inexperience."

Nightwing's lips quirked up. Batman said on final thing, "It is late, and there is nothing you can do right now. Leave. Bed. Now. Anybody attempting to eavesdrop will be off missions for two weeks."

The Team, except for the ones who would be coming with Batman, sulked out gloomily. Batman and the rest entered the hanger.

In the jet with the younger Team:

The jet landed. Red Arrow sighed. He looked around. Superboy was up, and he had already undone his seat belt. Superboy was gently picking up Miss Martian bridal-style. Artemis's training, like Roy's, had caused her to wake up the minute the plain landed, having gotten a better hold on dealing with the pain. Plus, she was awake for a little while earlier. Kid Flash was still asleep next to him. What worried Roy the most though, was the fact that Robin was not awake.

With his 'bat-training' if he ever fell asleep in a vehicle, he was up a little before the vehicle reached its destination. The fact that he had not woken up proved how tired he was. Gotham must've been hectic. He hoped that Kid Flash had went on patrol with Robin. That was something the three of them did before Roy became Red Arrow.

Whenever things were hectic in Gotham, and Robin had to separate from Batman, both of them or at least one of them would join Robin. They both regretted the times when they couldn't make it, as Robin tended to get injured a little more. The stupid bad guys thought he was a punching bag. Roy frowned. I'll have to check him to make sure he's not hiding anything. Other than the injuries he has now. Roy had to suppress a snicker. Poor birdie looks like a mummy. Hm, he would punch me if I said that to him.

Aqualad's mental voice brought him back to Earth. Well, this Earth. Ooh, the mind link is still up. Curses. Red Arrow, please wake up Kid Flash.

Ugh, I like him better asleep. Artemis said.

Aqualad asked, Could you please wake Robin up as well? It seems he is still asleep.

Red Arrow responded. Nah, Robin's had a rough week in Gotham. I'll just wake up Flash Boy. Cut Robin out of the link.

Please break up the mind link. Everyone is tired, and we could accidently see something we do not wish to see.

Even though Miss Martian was half asleep, she heard that. Her eyes glowed for a moment. Instantly, that feeling in the back of Roy's mind was gone. It was sort of a kind of warmth, like being with family. Without it, he felt really weird. He guessed he just got used to it. After all, he had been to the Cave a couple (dozen) times, and the Team always made sure to include him in the mind link.

Now that Roy thought about it, he rarely saw the Team speak aloud unless it was for the benefit of Leaguers in the room. Even then, if they were talking about something they didn't want the League to hear, they would use the mind link. At that, Roy suppressed a smirk. Yup, this Team had guts. And some, some of his respect. Red Arrow undid his harness/seatbelt/'x'-strap across his chest. Wow, talk about unconventional seatbelts . . . then again, this is a jet.

He stood up, stretched, then turned around to wake Wally up. He undid Kid Flash's straps, then started to shake his shoulder.

"Ugh," the speedster groaned. "Five more minutes."

Rolling his eyes, Red Arrow said, "Get up. Or have you forgotten were in another dimension?"

That got the speedster up. Blinking his eyes, he looked around blearily. His eyes fell on Robin, sleeping a seat away. They grew wide.

"Jeez, poor guy must be tired. He's a really light sleeper. I'm surprised he hasn't sleep attacked anyone yet with stuff in his utility belt."

Red Arrow sighed. "There was a mass Arkham breakout."

Kid Flash looked like he was smacked. "That's right! I joined him a few times on patrol."

Red Arrow will forever deny the sigh of relief he let out. "C'mon, I'll carry him out. Maybe he won't sleep attack me."

He undid the straps on Robin. Carefully, he picked up Robin, mindful of both their injuries. The door to the jet was open. The seven of them headed out. They heard voices. Some sounded vaguely familiar. They turned to face the strangers.

There was Batman. He looked the same, but something about him seemed . . . darker. Black Canary was there, too. She looked pretty much the same, just more weather beaten. Like she had seen some pretty bad things. Red Tornado looked the same. Guess being a robot helped in that department. Zatanna was walking out a door. The hanger itself looked the same. Same grey metal floor, same tan/rocky mountain-ish ceiling. Then again, the Cave was in a mountain.

Then there were six strangers. One was obviously Superboy. However, the sleeves on his shirt were longer, up to the middle of his forearm. He wore black fingerless gloves. He seemed . . . happier, more easy to approach then their Superboy. Less likely to get angry. He was the first on the left. The next one was Kid Flash. Except, he had filled out from the gangly teenager. He seemed older, more . . . dare they think it? Mature.

After older-Kid Flash there was Aqualad. He, too, looked sort of different. Aqualad had more muscle, and he had a different haircut. He looked more like an adult, and gave off his usual air of authority. He seemed . . . lighter, not as stiff as their Kaldur, but tired. Next was Artemis. She too looked sort of the same. Her costume was the same, but she looked older, and she had filled out. Her hair was in its usual pony tail, but it was shorter. She seemed . . . less guarded about herself.

A green woman who was clearly Miss Martian was next to Artemis. Her hair was shorter, though. And like Artemis she had grown up. Older-Miss Martian's face had more lines in it, and she was wearing a version of her stealth suit. The cape was shorter. She seemed . . . less peppier, as if she knew things now that she hadn't known before. Or had done things she hadn't done before.

The last one was tall. He was taller than Artemis, Superboy, and Miss Martian. He was about an inch and a half shorter than the older Kid Flash. He was about two inches shorter than the older Aqualad. The stranger's face looked, familiar, but it also looked like a teen who had just became a man. Is it possible . . .? No, it can't be an older version of Robin. The domino had an extra stroke at the end, but the suit was entirely different.

The man wore a dark grey and light grey body suit, with a blue bird on the chest. He had a utility belt with sticks in the holster. He had has arms crossed over his chest, and was frowning. The younger Team badly wanted to deny that this older teen could not be the happy, energetic Robin they know. And yet . . . he had the same raven black hair, and the shape of the face was similar. The domino mask just had a small stroke that made the difference.

The sticks on the utility belt looked like modified and upgraded versions of the black ones they see Robin use occasionally in fights. Plus, even though he was tall, he had a lithe frame. If they looked at the corners of his mouth closely, they saw that it could easily twitch upwards into an easy grin. Or smirk. Or smile. He was tapping his foot rapidly.

For a while, the group just stared at on another.

Batman took charge of the situation. "Your DNA will be tested to verify you are who you say you are. Each of you will be questioned."

Aqualad nodded. The younger Team had formed a neat line, with Aqualad in the middle slightly forward. From right to left, it went Superboy (who was standing straight up), Miss Martian (who was leaning on Superboy, half awake), Artemis(who's arms were crossed. She was scowling.), Aqualad (who had a calm expression on his face), Red Arrow (who was supporting a sleepy Robin.), Robin was leaning against Red Arrow. He had woken up sometime during the 'staring contest'.

Kid Flash had a sleepy expression on his face, but he was paying attention.

He said, "Okay, but can we do that tomorrow? Explaining things to us while were half asleep isn't going to do anybody any favors. For now, lets just stick with introductions and what were gonna call one another. There can't be two Kid Flashes."

Artemis muttered. "One is enough."

Kid Flash scowled at her. Aqualad intervened before they could start fighting. "Enough. Now is not the time for both of you to fight. Another time, another place."

They scowled simultaneously and looked away from one another.

Black Canary said, "He brought up a point. I'm Black Canary, obviously. Am I you trainer?" At Batman's look, she told him, "I want to know whether or not they know me."

The younger Team nodded. They knew that 'trainer' also included part time den mother, seeing as Red Tornado mainly left them to their own devices. Red Tornado said, "This is pointless. I am Red Tornado. Am I your 'den mother'?"

Again, the younger Team nodded. The ones half awake sort of nodded. Batman said, "I'm Batman,"-everything about him screamed this is stupid-"Am I the one to deploy you on missions?"

They nodded again. Batman said, "Good. They-" He gestured to the six sort of strangers,"-are the older versions of you. Superboy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Artemis, Miss Martian, and Nightwing."

As he spoke, the older Team stepped forward in the order they were introduced.

Taking his cue, Aqualad said their names. "I am Aqualad. My friends are Kid Flash, Robin, Red Arrow, Artemis, Miss Martian, and Superboy."

Kid Flash, who by now was coming to awareness more fully, burst out, "Dude, what did Batman feed you? That can't be Robin! He's too, well, him! And that can't be me! I seem mature!"

By now he was whining. Artemis said, "In your dreams."

Kid Flash glared at her. "You seem relaxed. It's unnatural. Well, you're unnatural, but that's beside the point . . ."

Artemis growled. "Why you little . . . "

Aqualad sighed. "Artemis, you may murder Kid Flash tomorrow, after this is sorted out and we get some rest."

"I'll hold you to that . . ." She muttered. Kid Flash gulped. Aqualad said,

"While it is clear at the present moment that Robin does not need to be called something else, what shall we call Superboy, Miss Martian, Red Arrow, Artemis, Kid Flash, and I?"

Nightwing decided to pitch in. "Mini-Flash or Wally, Mini-Artemis, Mini-M'gann or Miss M, Speedy or Mini-Red, Mini-Conner or Mini-Supes, and ,uh, Mini-Kaldur, Mini-Kal, or Mini-Aqualad?"

Everyone looked at him like he had grown two heads, before Robin, who has been quiet and half awake, said, "So, basically anything to do with us, the alternate younger Team, will have mini- on it?"

Nightwing smiled mischievously. "That's right Mini-me."

Robin blinked. "Uh, okay . . .?" Before he noticed something."Ha! I'm taller than you, Arty. Told ya so."

"Brat." Artemis (the teen one) grumbled.

Robin just grinned sleepily. The older Team found themselves experiencing deja vu, watching their younger selves interact. After that, the group fell into awkward silence.

Batman broke it. Speaking to the older Team, he said, "Take your younger selves to your rooms. Whether or not you choose to stay at the Cave is your choice. Use the back exit to your rooms."

Batman left. Black Canary and Red Tornado followed. The older Team turned to face their younger versions. Robin asked,

"How old are you?" The questioned was directed at his older counterpart. Unlike the others, he and his counterpart had walked up to one another. The rest just hung near one another in awkward silence. Robin's question echoed in the quiet of the hanger.

"Eighteen. Nearly nineteen." Nightwing answered.

Robin smirked. "That's older than Red Arrow. Well, our Red Arrow. He's seventeen. Hey, how old is your Red Arrow?"

The others in the room seemed to decide that the conversation between the two birds was more interesting than standing in awkward silence. If Nightwing or Robin noticed that everyone was staring at them, they either didn't care or were ignoring it. Probably both.

Nightwing answered his younger self. "Oh, he's twenty-two. While were at it, Wally's twenty. Artemis is twenty. Miss Martian is twenty-one. Superboy is twenty-one. Kaldur's twenty-two, although he's younger than Roy by a couple of months."

Robin nodded. "So, they're all old cranky people-" The others' faces looked indignant. Nightwing merely nodded along."-that put up with one another. Well, our Artemis and Wally are both fifteen. Superboy and Miss M are both sixteen, and Kaldur is seventeen, like Roy. Though, like you said, Roy is older by a couple months. And I'm thirteen."

Nightwing nodded. Robin yawned. Seeing this, Nightwing said, "Let's go to the rooms. I can show Mini-Red where his room, since Roy isn't here. And 'cause of the fact that he's right next to Mini-me."

It was true. Red Arrow was supporting Robin, who was swaying on his feet, energy spent. With that, the group went the back way to the rooms. Thankfully, the newbie teammates' rooms weren't near their rooms. So they came to each of the rooms, the younger Team shared a glance. Aqualad nodded. They found out that the older Artemis, Kid Flash, and Nightwing would not be staying the night.

That meant Kid Flash, Artemis, Robin and of course Red Arrow would have their counterparts' rooms to themselves. Eh, well, nothing they can do about that. All of them headed off to their respective rooms. Before they fell asleep, their older selves promised to find some clothes that would fit. The Team drifted into an uneasy sleep. They would need it, for whatever tomorrow would bring.

And chapter six is done! Well, I have nothing really to say, other than that took a long time. I hope to update again as soon as possible. I just got done testing, and I have spring break plus summer coming up. Hopefully I'll be able to write even more than what I'm writing now. Oh, sorry if any of the characters seem off. I'm doing the best I can.
