Two shinobi stood across from each other on was a six foot tall man with shark like features including blue skin hair and gills wearing the cloak of Akatsuki a giant sword in his hand

This was Hoshigake Kisame the monster of the hidden mist and former partner of Itachi Uchiha

The second was a man in his early twenties with short hair that looked like a field of lava green eyes wearing a pair of purple pants and black sandals wrapped around his neck like a choker was his headband

This was Long jonin of Tetsugakure and jinchuriki of the six tailed beast

"so you're the six tails jinchuriki" Kisame said before grinning a shark like grin "I can tell you'll be fun to fight"

"let's just get this over with" Long said before touching the ground "Qǐbào Bo" (explosion wave)

originating from his hand a explosive wave surged forward towards the shark like member of Akatsuki Kisame leapt back using his sword to shield him from the shrapnel

"Heh so the jinchuriki either has explosion style or it's an ability from his tailed beast either way this will be fun" Kisame landed and charged forward thrusting his sword at Long's exposed stomach Long leapt onto the sword landing on his hand he used it to kick Kisame in the face from the bandages spikes pierced Longs hands leaping off the sword he landed crouching

"Damn I should have considered his sword might have a defense mechanism" Long cursed looking at his bloody hands "you know according to the intelligence we gathered on you two years ago you killed a thousand men"

Kisame put his sword on his shoulders "which is why you're my assignment" Kisame then made a hand sign "water style water clone jutsu" from his mouth water poured out forming into three copies of Kisame

Long began making hand signs Kisame obsevered them "boar ox ram and tiger what's he up to"

"Yinying Kelong jutsu" (shadow clone) in a poof of smoke four clones appeared in front of Long the clones charged the same time three of Long's clones and Kisame's clones killed each other

while Long and his fourth clone charged at Kisame his clone leapt behind him while Long slammed his hands to the ground

"Lóng yàn shān" (dragon fire mountain) an explosive dome appeared enveloped a twenty yard circle around Kisame after ten seconds the explosion dissipated Long dispersed his clone and stood up only to be cut down by shark skin

"wow Deidara would have loved you" Kisame said pointing at the damage the ground had caved in from the destructive power of the explosion "but now I suppose it's over"

"Not quite" Kisame was hit by Naruto's war hammer sending him away from Long Naruto and Naruto standing next to him "well well if it isn't the nine tails brat been a long time hasn't it"

"Hoshigake Kisame" Naruto said getting into a battle stance "who" Naruto asked "a member of Akatsuki and Itachi Uchiha's partner"

"well if they partnered you with Itachi you must be strong in our world he was partnered with this blonde guy who made explosive sculptures"

Kisame chuckled imagining Deidara and Itachi together "Long get out of here this guy was sent to target you" Naruto ordered

Long stood up his back marred by multiple slashes from shark skin shredding into him "I can still fight" Long growled out his ears becoming pointed and fangs protruding from his mouth

"no your beast is clouding your judgement causing you to think irrationally what would Hok tell you to do" Long took in a deep breath and nodded "if you want to fight go defend the village Konoha is here"

"you think they're after her" Naruto nodded "most likely" Long leapt off but Kisame didn't go after him

"so then Hoshigake Kisame tell what's it like losing to two sons of the Yondaime Hokage" Kisame raised an eyebrow "that's a pointless question the fourth hokage had no children"

"Wrong answer what I was looking for was you were about to find out" Naruto his hammer over his head and charged Naruto making a small army of clones charged too
