Wow. I can't believe I have procrastinated this for so long. Because before you know it, I was back at school from my holiday and I've been having down days and all that, but now schools over for 2013, I guess I have no excuse, aye? I'm sooo sorry I have stopped updating for so long.

Enough rambling; enjoy!

(Warning: mild cussing)

"I'm so full!" Cheered Ava, rubbing her belly and stomping on the Autumn leaves, making them crunch beneath her feet.

"Good!" Said Lucy, "We needed to fatten you up a little, sweetie."

The whole team walked further around the dry woods near San Francisco in search for Tim & Lucy's hideout.

"The warehouse isn't far now." Lucy assured Amy. "It's been abandoned for god knows how long. It's safe for the time being; we aren't completely sure if the military is going to search it or not.. But we'll find a way out of it if it ever comes that time."

"Yes, just wing it. Because that's so safe." Hissed Renaé sarcastically.

"Renaé.." Sneered Tim. His fuse on Renaé had been running short; her remarks and attitude wearing his patience thin.

"Feel free to leave if you think it's not safe, or that the way we run things is not up to your standards" he threatened.

"Seriously? I'm not leaving! You've got food and shelter!"

"Then shut up!" Snapped Tim. Renaé stood astonished at Tim's behaviour.

"Don't talk to me like that! I have seen much worse than you-"

"Shh!" Hushed Emily.

"Excuse me! I-"

"No, seriously!" Hissed Em. "I hear them!"

Everyone stood still, listening carefully for 'them'. And lo and behold, they could hear the military.. Raiding their warehouse.

The gang ducked behind a tree and some shrubbery in panic, hoping the military saw nothing.

"Where do we go?!" Whispered Jon harshly. "We're out in the open with no where to go, and soon they're going to be searching in every direction."

"How would you know?" Asked Renaé.

"Before you guys found me, I watched their routines from afar. They will search a place, then send groups off into opposite directions; North, East, South, West, North-East etcetera.. We have no where to go but back."

"No!" Whispered Em. "We can't go back. We've crossed so far; we're almost there. Is there a way we could somehow get around?"

"Who's there?!" Yelled an officer from the warehouse.

"Shit! C'mon!" Yelled Tim, grabbing his sisters arm for a mad dash.. Until the soldier raised his weapon.

"Don't move! Step out with your arms up!"

Tim halted immediately, letting go of Lucy slowly before turning around and raising his arms. The rest followed suit.

"Oh, this is ridiculous!" Blurted Renaè, refusing to raise her arms.

"Just take the men, like you want, leave the women alone." A crew of S.W.A.T had crowded around the gang, searching them and their backpacks.

"Ma'am, you're making it more difficult than it has to be."

"No! Fuck you! You're not in charge of m-" Before anyone could process what happened, they all heard an echoing bang that left their ears ring and birds nearby fly away in fear.

Thump.

Renaè's body and fallen, leaving the blood from the gunshot in her head dye the leaves, leaving a red halo around her head.

Ava had recoiled in fear, tears welling in her eyes as well as Emily.

"It's okay." Is all Amy could whisper in her ear, holding her facing away from Renaè, all while she could do was stare at her corpse in horror.

"Anyone else?!" Belted the officer.

There was a moment of silence while the ringing was starting to fade from everyone's ears; until Jon elbowed the soldier searching him in the chin and grabbed his AK-47 and pointed at the rest of the army.

"Hey!" One screamed, fast approaching with his own weapon.

But Jon was quicker, grabbing a grenade from the soldiers armour, pulling the pin, and throwing it towards the enemies.

"RUN!" He screamed. And with that, Amy lifted Ava and the gang started sprinting in the opposite direction.

BANG. The grenade.

Their chests heaving with every giant step they take and Emily sprinting with tears streaking down her cheeks, Tim pulling her along.

BANG. A bullet. A bullet?

Em had screamed, fallen..

Everyone had stopped to see Emily with a bullet wound in the back of her thigh. She made horrible screeching sounds of pain as she clutched at her leg.
Poor girl. She's just 15.

"C'mon!" Tim had scooped her up in his arms, causing her to scream more, but not before a soldier approached them.. Damn, he must have been too far away.

"Drop your weapon!" He belted pointing the gun right at Ava's head.

"Or I'll do it!"

Jon looked between Ava and Amy. Had barely knowing them, he dropped his weapon and put his arms above his head, as did the rest. Em although, was writhing on the ground, trying to get on her knees until the soldier grabbed her sharply by the arm.

The rest of the military had approached, weapons raised.

"Let's take em back to camp.."

Ya know, I just noticed that I had written some sentences in past, and others in present tense.. Honest to god, I cannot be bothered fixing it. It's one in the morning. Don't judge. Not happy with this chapter. Thanks for reading.

Sorry.
