Ritsu heard the sound of footsteps outside his door. He wanted to sleep a little longer, but decided it was probably better to get up before they decided to break into his room. Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes. Upon hearing the opening of a door, he paled instantly. Did he or did he not tell those idiots not to wake up Rose? Maybe he should just let them face her wrath...crap, he already entered them in the tournament, they can't get hurt beforehand!

Ritsu rushed across his large room and into the hallway, and then into Rose's ducked just a small object crashed into the wall where his head had previously been. Sighing, he saw three people in the room. One with wavy, tousled hair, another with jet black, and the last with orange hair. Why would they even try to do this? Didn't they anger her enough last night?

Rose groaned loudly and a dark aura started to settle around her. The four boys in the room shivered at the drop in temperature in the room.

"R-r-rose, we brought you b-breakfast!" Adrian announced shakily.

"Get out." Rose moaned tiredly in Japanese. "Get out before I call Kyo to kick you out, Tama-chan."

"Tama-chan...?" Two voices asked, obviously confused, but having only picked out the name.

"Oh, crap," Rose shouted. "Get out!" She screeched in English.

"But, Rose, who's Tama-chan? And we made you breakfast to apologize!" Adrian continued.

Rose's dark aura grew to surround her and her bed, "you didn't make anything. You had the cooks do it, and you just brought it up. Now get out." Adrian gulped audibly and scurried out the room. Christian and Mason cautiously inched towards Rose in perfect synchronization.

"We're sorry, Rose," they spoke at the same time.

"See, that's the thing, you're not. Now get out, before I push you two out the window." They were out of there quicker than Adrian was.

"Rose, would it kill you to be a little nicer? The whole dark aura thing around you really freaks them out." Ritsu tried to joke.

"You too. Out." She mumbled and pointed at the door. He sighed and walked out. Rose looked over to the small table and saw that the alarm clock that was there last night was gone. Quickly surveying the room, she saw a broken black object on the floor near the doorway. She groaned inwardly and grabbed her phone off her night stand. Turning it on, he screen glowed to life, flashing "SIX NEW MASSAGES" and "FOUR MISSED CALLS". Rose scrolled through her phone and blanched. They were from a blocked number, but Rose could easily guess who they were from.

She sprung off of her comfy mattress and walked towards her closet. Not surprisingly, she had a whole wardrobe set up. Well, what could you expect when someone basically lived there? She swiftly got dressed into her competition uniform and put on contacts.

Rose decided it would probably be best to pack a bag. After all, the guys would probably want to go out to eat somewhere afterwards and Rose didn't want to ruin her uniform. She threw a pair of dark washed jeans and a black tank top in the bag. Hopefully, the tank top would bring out some of the almost nonexistent curves in Rose's body. She also decided to throw in some strappy high heels to wear for later as well. Sometimes it's good not to be so short.

Zipping up the bag, Rose made her way to the kitchen. She took a few water bottles and carried them out towards the entrance area.

"Is it time to go yet?" Rose asked, her voice still thick with sleep, making it sound deeper than usual. All heads turned towards the sudden intruder and the Dhampirs, along with Ritsu, dropped into a fighting stance. Rose was a bit shocked.

"What the hell are you guys doing? It's not like you haven't seen me without glasses before," she glared at them and they all relaxed. Adrian had one of the biggest grins on his face, he started to laugh.

"Rose! Little Dhampir! We were waiting for you to get ready before we left! Apparently the tournament is being held at Ouran Academy!" Rose nearly fainted on sight. She was...she was going back to Ouran? Like actually going inside to the dojo again? This trip was turning out to good to be true.

First, Ritsu showed up and told her that he wanted her to join the tournament. He told her that the Haninozuka's and Morinozuka's were competing as well. Then, they flew to Japan. Next, Ritsu invited over Nekowazowa, and now the competition is being held at Ouran? She couldn't help but be a bit hesitant. She could already feel something unpleasant happening today. It was a gut feeling...and so far, Rose's gut feelings have never been wrong.

"Tickets sold? Check. Concession stand set up? Check. Mori and Hunny dressed and ready? Check. Hunny and Mori merchandise? Check. List of competitors? Che—whose Ryuu Kasonada?"

"Kyoya-senpai, didn't I tell you Kasonada-kun entered his cousin?" Haruhi asked as Kyoya just looked confused.

"Bossa Nova entered his cousin?" Two voices inquired.

"Oh! Wonderful! The lounger the tournament goes on, the more we can sell and host the ladies! Isn't that right, mon ami?"

Kyoya sighed. He didn't want to be stuck at this tournament longer than he had to. Though, he used to love going to them; watching the opponents faces drop and morph into surprise. He missed it. No. He missed her.

"Very well. Remember, be kind to all of our guest." He sent a sharp glance towards the two fiery, mischievous twins. They snickered at the Shadow King's growing aura but then relinquished there sarcastic comments very quickly.

"But we are nice," Hikaru told him sweetly.

"We're super nice," Karou continued, wrapping his arm around his brothers waist as he smirked.

"Yeah, yeah, save the act for later," Haruhi rolled her eyes. She glanced at the two with a glint in her eyes as the twins turned a bright red. Haruhi smirked, finally have a one-up on the twins. Mori and Kyoya raised their eyebrows in a silent question but she just chuckled. "Look," she pointed towards the door, "people are arriving." And arriving they were. As soon as the clock hit the hour and the doors were opened, people started to pour into the dojo. Some even reserved the closer seats to the arena the week before to make sure they get a seat near their favorite hosts.

"Dimitri!" Kyoya heard a voice cry out, "we need to sign in!"

"We already did...or at least someone did. We just need to go to the locker area to get ready." Dimitri stated, to his friend that was disguised as a boy. "You know, Ryuu, I think I may have a chance at winning this thing."

Kyoya made his way towards the duo slowly, wanting to hear more of this conversation after hearing the sarcasm in one of the male's voice. He scoffed, and at the same time, the much shorter counterpart did the same.

"Yeah. You couldn't beat me in a simple spar, and you think you're going to beat them, and myself again?" Ryuu, A.K.A Rose, asked Dimitri. Kyoya, hiding behind a pillar saw the extremely tall man, with the other, shorter, boy with cropped hair.

"Excuse me," Kyoya's cool voice carried towards them as he stepped out of the shadows. The tall one turned around, but the shorter one remained with his back turned towards him. He rolled his eyes annoyed at the rudeness of this person. Perhaps if this person is great as he had claimed to be, is the reason why he wouldn't be so humble. "But who are you?"

Kyoya bristled. He felt power in the air. Power he knew of. Spirit.

"Little Dhampir!" A blonde man called. "Little Dhampir! Come on, we need to get you ready!"

"No need to announce it to the world, baka." Rose uttered under her breath. "Look around. Do you see how many people are around here?" She yelled at him in a gruff, deep voice.

"I do not take well to being ignored. So I ask again. Who are you?" Kyoya's voice was laced with venom. He wanted to know who these foreigners were and what they planned on doing. And even more so, why he felt the power of Spirit looming in the atmosphere. The group—save for the short one—turned to acknowledge him again.

"Dimitri Belikov," the tall one announced.

"Adrian Ivashkov," the brunette man cheerily told Kyoya.

"Ryuu Kasonada," the short, rude one told him while standing up straighter.

Kyoya mentally rolled his eyes and sighed. It figures. Belikov and Ivashkov are both here. They both go to Saint Vladimir's in America. Adrian Ivashkov's aunt is the queen, and Dimitri Belikov has had a lot of fame attributed to someone so young. Ryuu Kasonada was the outcast here. Is this the cousin that Ritsu entered? It had to be. But...how could this stranger know of the vampire world? It's not Ritsu was a Dhampir or Moroi. Perhaps just someone that stumbled upon it? Maybe an Alchemist without the golden lily? Or is it covered by makeup? Hundreds of scenarios kept running through Kyoya's mind until he was brought back to reality by the cheery blonde—that scarily reminded him of Tamaki—screaming about how "Ryuu is so mean to daddy". Kyoya thought long and hard. No, the half-French, half-Japanese had no distant relatives in the Moroi line.

"And who might you be?" The one named Dimitri asked curiously.

"Kyoya Otori," Kyoya responded coolly with a curt nod. He watched as Ryuu tensed up and then relaxed. Dimitri started muttering about how the atmosphere was tense and he didn't need Spirit to figure at out.

Adrian's eye widened to the extreme. "Kyoya Otori? The Kyoya Otori?" He gasped and Kyoya rolled his eyes.

"What do you want, Ivashkov?" Kyoya asked icily. He didn't want this Moroi to come in and blow his cover to his friends. Nor did he want to announce to the human world that there is an existence of vampires.

"You know my name! Ro—" Adrian's loud mouth was covered by Dimitri's large hand.

"Of course I know your name, baka, you just told me it. Now can the giant let go of you? I know you're royal," Kyoya thought for moment. He wanted to make the rude cousin, not so rude. "Can Ryuu turn around? I would like to meet the cousin of Kasonada-kun. I would also like to know everyone who would be competing today."

Adrian nodded enthusiastically even though his mouth was still covered. Adrian wanted Rose to meet Kyoya, even if he was in a disguise.

"No." She stated in a monotonous voice. Kyoya was shocked. How dare this newcomer try and make a fool of him. He will get him to turn around.

Kyoya began to think things through, and just as he was about to use his "host voice" he saw the short man walking away from him. Screw politeness. Kyoya shot daggers at the man, his hands tingling with power waiting to be unleashed.

The man let out a boisterous laugh. "You can glare all you want, Shadow King. Won't work on me."

Kyoya was fuming at the omission he was given. He didn't even realize when Ryuu called him the "Shadow King". He went off to find one of his senpai's. walking quickly and efficiently through the crowds, he made his way through to the locker room area. He saw the black spiky hair of his stoic senpai meditating, and walked over.

"Ah, Mori-senpai! I need to ask a favor of you."

"Hm?" Mori questioned, opening one eye.

"I need you to go all out on Ryuu Kasanoda. He can handle it, trust me, but I need you to do this for me if he makes it to you during competition." Mori tilted his head in contemplation before answering strictly.

"No."

Kyoya nodded his head solemnly. Mori is always about honor...he wasn't going to use his full strength on someone he knows nothing about. "Very well. I wish you good luck, Mori-senpai."

"Why the hell would you do that!?" Rose screeched when she, Adrian, Dimitri have gotten away from the crowds. "I've explained this already. When we're here, I am known as Ryuu. You almost blew my cover! I don't want to meet Otori! I just want to compete. You could've very well had prevented me to do that. I swear to god, Adrian," she glared, "you do something like that again and you won't be able to have little Ivashkov's, do you understand?!" A dark black cloud surrounded her as she spoke.

Adrian gulped and nodded rapidly at Rose's angry voice. He doesn't have a clue as to what she's saying. Rose was yelling at him in Japanese, and all Adrian knew was that she sounded pissed.

Rose relaxed visibly. "Good," she spoke in English. "Now, if you excuse me," she turned on her heels and walked towards the mats. She was walking in one direction, stopped, then walked in the other, but there was obviously open seats at the one end near a very large man with spiky black hair and what seemed to be a small blonde child. Dimitri quirked his eyebrow, but followed Rose nonetheless.

A few hours passed and Rose had won all of her competitions so far, but none of them have included Hunny or Mori. She wasn't even tired yet, or out of breath in the slightest, meanwhile, the rest of the gym was a panting, sweating mess. "Gross," she muttered.

"Kasonada Ryuu!" The announcer called, "versus Morinozuka Takashi!" Rose smiled. This was going to be interesting, to say the least. Rose took her place on he mat, her back facing the stands of people...well the important people. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Dimitri getting ready to go up against Hunny. She giggled, Rose would definitely have to keep an eye out for a flying Russian.

"Ready for this? Senpai?" She said the tone mockingly. He looked overly confident: he must've won all of his matches in the day so far. He grunted in reply and smirked a bit.

This should be easy enough, Mori thought to himself. A small man, who looks like he has no muscle strength whatsoever. It must've been pure luck for the small man to wind up going against himself.

Roses face grew dark, she accustomed herself so that she was in a defensive position. She heard the referee yell at them to begin. Mori slowly circled her as if studying his prey. If Rose was correct, he would be trying to start off with a left hook right about—and there it was. Rose swiftly deflected it and countered with a snap kick to his midsection. He grunted and moved back quickly.

Setting himself up once again, Mori decided to kick out with his long legs, hoping to knock the small man off his feet. In doing do, it had the opposite effect Mori had wanted. He extended his leg too far and Ryuu had easily jumped over it. He was shocked to say the least, but of course, he didn't let it show. The man, Ryuu, was laughing at him. Taunting him; daring him to land a hit.

"That all you got?" Ryuu A.K.A Rose taunted. She quickly switched her defensive position and jumped in front of Mori, landing a few hits, before retreating just as quickly. She giggled. This was going to be so much fun. She thought for a second...what if—

The thought was cut off by a powerful jab to her side. Mori just smirked at her. She felt a small well of anger bubbling up inside her, but quickly dismissed when she looked in his silver eyes. He didn't want to hurt her; he didn't want to hurt anybody. He just wants to win this. She sighed, he wasn't going to get what he asked for. Rolling around him, Rose jumped up and kicked at his upper right shoulder. He staggered forward and Rose glanced at the seating area.

She saw them.

She saw them all.

Quickly returning to her crouched position, Rose deflected the punch that he sent towards her left side. She shook her head. He really needs to work on using his assets to his advantage. Rose was getting tired of toying around. Was that all he had to show her? It's been years and he can't land another hit on her? She shook out her hands.

"Think you're going to win this, Morinozuka?" She questioned, getting ready for her final blow. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Dimitri flying. She called over towards his mat, "so Russians do fly!" Dimitri only offered a glare at her before Hunny continued his tour rent of punches and kicks.

"Yeah," was all that came from the giant she was battling. Rose scoffed at him. His legs struck out, as if to hit towards the back of her knees, but instead of that, his right hand came up towards her chin. Faster than any other Dhampir, or even Strigoi, could move, Rose grabbed Mori's fist in her hand and pushed him back. The whole crowd went silent. Except for a blonde idiot yelling, but she couldn't decipher who it was exactly. All of her thoughts and focus were on this moment. The crowd gasped silently and all around them the matches paused. Rose sighed, did the really have to be the center of attention? Just like old times, huh?

Mori was shocked. How had this boy caught his fist and then was able to push him back hard enough for him to stagger and fall. His eyes were wide as he watched his opponent stalk him like a sleek jungle cat. He thought that the boy was going to just circle around him and wait for him to get up; they always did. But this one was different. Faster than Mori could comprehend what exactly was happening, his opponent, Ryuu, jumped towards him, arm pulled back.

Rose let her fist come into contact with Mori's jaw. She heard a sickening crunch and looked him. Mori was in shock, as far as she could tell. The referee had called her the winner, as Mori has yet to come up from the mat. Glancing around, she realized that everyone was watching. Including Hunny who gave her a small smile...did he remember? Could he remember? She shook the thought out of her head.

"Impossible," she muttered lowly to herself.

"Mori-senpai! Mori-senpai!" Rose heard a voice call out. She was curious. Why was a girl dressed in a male Ouran uniform, running out towards Takashi? She watched as Mori sat up slowly and felt around his jaw. She knew that she had broken it, and she knew that he was aware of that too. Once the girl reached him, she had spoken something to him and his eyes glazed over. Rose was fuming. Was that bitch Mori's girlfriend? Why was she dressed like a boy?! Was Takashi gay?! She wanted to scream, or at least to look away from the scene but found that she couldn't. She watched as the girl touched Mori's unclothed arm.

She couldn't believe it.

The girl, know Rose had figured out was a Moroi, was healing Rose's childhood friend. Did he know of this? Of course he knows of that, he knows everything and anything, that snake. Rose smirked. If she had to talk to him, she would use the Russian she learned and call him zmey.

Rose watched as Mori and the girl stood up slowly and cautiously. They both headed over towards the doors and towards a group that was waiting for them. She glanced at the mat that Dimitri and Hunny were competing on: it was empty. She saw the group walk out the doors and into Ouran's winding halls. She decided to follow them. Grabbing her bag, she rummaged through it quickly to find her glasses. She took the contacts out of her eyes and quickly abandoned them on the floor. Rose ran to the door and just decided to follow the group that had just previously gone.

Staying a decent amount away from the tumultuous group, Rose followed them up the doors that had read, "Third Music Room".

"How fitting," she whispered to herself, quickly sliding thought the doors unnoticed. The group hasn't noticed her yet, and she took the time to look at them.

She saw the girl dressed as a boy (though, she couldn't really say anything to that as she's in the same predicament), Mori, Hunny, Hikaru and Kaoru, Tamaki, and...him. What the hell he was doing there, she had no clue. She then decided to make herself known.

"Oi! Shadow King!" Rose called out. Six heads shot up to look at the intruder but his stayed down. Some gasps carried throughout the room. This person looked so strikingly similar to Kyoya. And why would they even dare to risk their life by calling him the Shadow King (even if they say it behind his back, they never say it to his face). When Rose looked, she saw Hunny with a look of contemplation on his face. She didn't understand it, but she smiled back.

Calmly, Kyoya stood from his position on the couch, his glasses flashing dangerously. Everyone took a step away from him. This was different than the Shadow King they know. "What are you doing here?" He spoke quietly.

Rose, completely ignoring the question, spoke loudly. "Were you aware of the Spirit user you have in your company?" Kyoya's face morphed into something of shock. There was what?!

"...what?" He started to shake a little bit. He turned his head to the side, glancing over his shoulder at the small group. "Which on of you has been lying to me?" He spoke harshly. Everyone had looks of confusion on their faces and he spun around, baring his teeth at them, he hissed. "Damnit! Tell me which one!" Everyone staggered back terrified. Rose, unable to see Kyoya like that answered for him.

"The girl." Kyoya froze, and so did the one Rose called out. "What..." He whispered, his eyes finding the girl's.

"All this time, Haruhi? You surely must've known. I know you can read auras," Kyoya sounded so defeated. "I should've known. You never want us to help you with shopping. You don't like to go out, especially if we drag you out in the sun. The way you smile. This is why I can't trust people. I was stupid once, and then I met this club. I learned to trust again, to stop constantly checking auras, to just take things as they come. That was a mistake, obviously."

"She healed Takashi's jaw, but then compelled him to forget that it was ever broken in the first place." Rose explained, looking at Kyoya sympathetically.

"But how would you know that Mori-senpai had his jaw...I can't believe you." Kyoya started confused, but soon worked it out in his head. "I really should've known; nobody would dare to disrespect me in public...except you, of course." He chuckled darkly a bit. Rose saw movement out of the corner of her eye.

"Don't you even think of leaving Spirit girl." Rose spat out. "We have questions and you're going to answer them." She saw the girl, now known as Haruhi, open the door and a wave of people came crashing in. "Figures they would've followed me, following you." She muttered to herself.

"Rose...?" She heard a small voice call out to her, and figured it was one from the American Host Club.

"Yeah?" She called out. "I'm over—" before she could finish her sentence, Rose was glomped by a small, sobbing, body.

"Rose!" The body wailed, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry to have forgotten you!" Rose was in shock. The small body pressed against hers and arms encircled her neck. Only then did she realize who it was.

"Hunny," she spoke, responsively wrapping her arms around the small boy. She couldn't believe it.

"No. Mitsukuni," he reminded her, "don't you know how hard it was to get you call me that in the first place?"

Rose smiled widely, "Mitsukuni." She responded definite. Rose let the 17 year-old boy crawl up and sit on her small shoulders. She lugged and he giggled.

"Just like old time, right?" He sniggered. He leant down by her ear and whispered in it, "and Takashi isn't seeing anyone right now. I'm sure you were dying to know," he smirked and gave her a playful wink that Kyoya took in the wrong direction.

"Senpai, I don't care how old you are, how old you look, or the fact that you could pummel me into the ground, but," he paused and glared. He spoke coldly and clearly, "get away. From. My sister." Hunny just laughed and climbed off of Rose as everyone fell into a shock. voices from the other side of the room called out, while rushing over to Rose.

"Sister?!" Adrian, Christian, and Mason, Eddie and Dimitri all called out. They were in complete shock, but it makes sense. Rose definitely looks like the man.

The American Host Club couldn't see well in the dark, but Hikaru went toward the light switch and flipped it on, when he saw who it was, his amber eyes grew wide. "Adrian?" He asked.

"Oh! Kaoru! It's so nice to see you again!" Adrian yelled and bounced happily. Rose watched as one of her old best friends sighed. She sighed along with him. Should she correct Adrian? Might as well.

Just as Kaoru opened his mouth to tell Adrian that he got them mixed up yet agin, but Rose beat him to the punch. "That's Hikaru, not Kaoru. Kaoru is standing next to Tama-chan over there," she pointed towards the blonde man.

Tamaki was stunned. "Ta—Tama-chan?" He asked.

"Baka." Was all that Rose said, shaking her head lightly with a smile on her face.

"Yes, sister," Kyoya answered the question that was given before, "twin, to be more exact." His glasses flashed up to reflect the light.

"But...that's not possible."

"Kyoya, mon ami, what are you talking about. The only sister you have is Fuyumi."

"We aren't the only twins?"

"Rose isn't a commoner?!"

"But she's a Dhampir! The Otori's are Moroi!"

"Dhampirs? Moroi? What the hell are the talking about, Kaoru?" Hikaru exclaimed. Kaoru shuddered and lead his brother, Mori, Hunny, and Tamaki out of the room.

The American Host Club demanded answers.

Kyoya told them the simple explanation that he had come up with years and years ago. "The Moroi genes were more prominent in myself. Rose would have been seventy-five percent Moroi, and I would have been eighty percent Moroi. Technically, we would have both been Dhampirs, with faint Moroi attributes. Being tall, slim, and pale would have most likely been the qualities. Somehow, somewhere while we were still developing before we were born, I took the extra twenty percent of Moroi genes from Rose. She was left a Dhampir, but I became a Moroi, like the rest of our family. She was outcasted eventually." He started off sounding cold, but then he was sounding so small, so insignificant. So unlike himself.

The others had their mouths gaping open. The shock that they had to overcome when they had heard Rose yelling at the infamous Ouran High School Host Club, that she knew of Hunny, and that she was an Otori. Silence befell the room until Kyoya spoke up.

"Haven't you realized that she has certain attributes? She faster, stronger, and she's able to block her aura. But that's most likely due to the fact that we share a bond. I can use Moroi magic, and Rose can use those certain abilities as well." He explained.

"Wow..." Haruhi breathed out. "That's...incredible."

"No," Rose snapped at her, "it's not. You don't know what it's like to know that you're different, that you're an outcast, that you don't fit into any of the groups. I'm fifty-five percent Moroi. I'm not exactly a Dhampir, but I'm far from being a Moroi."

A loud thump echoed through the room. Rose turned to look at the body that lied crumpled on the floor. She sighed, "Adrian, get the hell up." She turned to look at her brother, "he reminds me of Tamaki." Kyoya just smirked.
