Vladofian Wars
Natasha wasn't kidding, Reshay could see it clearly. Then again, neither was Vadim, the plant barely clutching onto life in the ashes of cigars and cigarettes. Millions of Hyperion Bots marched parallel to the way our vault hunters were facing. "Hoo,boy" Joel stated, a half-cuban stuck between his teeth. "This is gonna hurt someone man." Reshay added, a poorly rolled you-can-guess-what, burning impressively quicky.
Joel threw his turret down, taking cover behind an opulent waist high wall that ws between him and the bots. Vadim rolled up the sides of the building, firing a Maliwan SMG and a Torgue revolver at the horde of bots. Reshay threw two grenades high , aiming for the middle of the pack, before blasting both of them with lasers, exploding the both of them with a blinding yellow/green light. Joel's turret continued to rain corrosion on the hyperion army, allowing Joel chances to shoot out eyes and cripple enemies without drawing too much attention to himself. Reshay wasn't doing so well. That joint he'd smoked was stronger than he thought, changing his perception too much for him to be able to aim his energy beams clearly. "Joel, Help me man! I'm seeing the weirdest stuff right now. " Joel rushed over from cover.
"Here, take this, it should help!" Joel raised his voice to be heard over all the gunfire, pulling Reshay behind a sturdy pillar to give him a red, green and blue pill. "Trippy Man." Reshay didn't quite seem to be in control of himself, luckily Natasha and Vadims efforts were holding out. "C'mon, Reshay take the pill." Joel tried not to get frustrated, he knew it was a bad Idea for Reshay to smoke that stuff. "D'okay, brah, jus' cool dow' man" Reshays accent got thicker as he popped the pill into his mouth, Joel leaving him to recuperate.
Joel's turret had been destroyed, a stray grenade going off in too close a proximity to the gun, disabling it. Now suppressive fire was up to Joel and his AR. As Joel loosed off rounds, the mechanism jammed, too much blood on the firing pin.
Vadim was not exactly on fire himself. Not figuratively anyway, the rubber wheel smoking as he tried desperately to outrun the Horde's targeting A.I. path. No matter how fast he went, there always seemed to be a bullet crunching into the concrete in his way. Natasha too was running low on bullets, and while this was something she was used to, the amount of targets she needed to hit was not at all in short supply.
As nearly all of the Vault hunters efforts were dwindling, A familiar accent presented itself over the Echo network. "Умереть Hyperion накипи!" A man's voice, a higher pitch than Jekov's, roared over the comm link devices and a Jet-Copter flew over the hill, Vladof symbols tattoed all over the rusted cockpit. So many bullets erupted from the barrels on the Jet-Copter to fall on the Hyperion Loaders, Reshay still thought he was high. The aircraft blew the remaining Loaders to pieces in minutes, taking care to avoid Vadim, as the ex-Maliwan drone cruised around the horde, adding more lead to the Carnage.
After all the Hyperion Loaders were vanquished, the Jet-Copter landed, allowing the three men of the group to climb aboard. "name's Kolvin!" the pilot shouted.
"You gonna pick up our sniper?" Joel asked, puzzled as to why they were going in the opposite direction to where she was. "Oh, she's with you? Well that explains why she didn't shoot at me! "
