The Real Changes Begin Here, Folks. Hope You Enjoy.

Everyone's eyes were glued to the events taking place before them. Today wasn't supposed to start off like this, for consecutive months had passed since Goku and all his friends were together at once. All of this was for Goku to introduce his old pals to Gohan and just have good and old fun as they talked about the old times. All of that was sucked down the drain when a mysterious alien warrior by the name of Raditz disrupted the peace, claiming himself to be Goku's older brother.

When told of his own race and given an offer to join his people, Goku declined, much to Raditz's frustration. Seeing his little brother wouldn't comply, he figured that taking his son would do the trick.

Well...

Goku wasn't going to let that happen without a fight.

And here they are now, facing off against one another. Raditz pulled his knee back in and hopped away, the back of his foot on the edge of the puny island. His intense stare didn't break from his brother's. "Kakarot...I'm warning you now, don't make me fight you."

"You're the one doing this to yourself," Goku told Raditz, "ya see, I told you to leave, but you think you can just take my son? You're dead wrong."

"So you won't be joining us, little brother?" Raditz asked, a dark tone in his voice.

"Fraid not," Goku curtly replied.

Raditz's left eye twitched.

Baka, Raditz thought.

Kakarot was meant to join him and rejoice with his brethren, but to reject everything just to stay with these group of weaklings infuriated him. He was just about telling Raditz that he did not see him as a brother and wanted no part of his lifestyle. He didn't want to be apart of his family and that made his Saiyan blood boil.

"Fine!" he shouted. "Consider yourself no part of us then, Kakarot! You're a disgrace to the Saiyan name, as well to the name of our own father. Prepare to die!"

Goku's senses were alerted when Raditz came at him once more, this time much faster than before. He expected another attack coming from his front, but Raditz appeared behind him and rendered the younger Saiyan an elbow to the back.

Goku went stumbling forward and quickly caught his balance.

"D-Daddy!" Gohan yelled.

"Stay back, young lad," Roshi warned, grabbing Gohan from behind. The kid tried to free himself of Roshi's grip, but the seasoned martial artist wasn't letting his pupil's son put himself in the midst of danger. Things weren't even heated yet and he could feel the burning ambiance already. "Everyone else stand back. This is something we'll have to stay out of for sure."

"When I'm finished with you, I'll start with everyone else here," Raditz boasted. "Heh, all except my nephew. He just might make a better Saiyan warrior under my tutelage than you, a traitor, ever could."

"Bring it on," Goku challenged.

The two brother's both made a move at once. One moment they were able to be seen and the next, they weren't. The Saiyan siblings were zapping all over the skies around Kame house, the forces of their attacks equal to the sounds of thunderclaps through the skies.

"Incoming!" Krillin called out, seeing a giant water wave about to overtake them. Him, Bulma, Roshi, and Gohan all hit the deck and headed inside the house to prevent themselves from getting soaked by the water.

Goku and Raditz, as they started, ended their small series of fighting with their forearms colliding against one another. There was a minor struggle between the two as they both tried to physically overpower one another.

"I can see the fire in your eyes as you fight me Kakarot. You're enjoying this just as much as I am. As much as you want to deny your Saiyan blood, it's something you can never escape."

"Shut-up!" Goku clobbered Raditz in the face using his elbow and kicked him in the hip. The force of his attack sent Raditz sliding just across the seas.

"Heh." Raditz licked the blood from his lips and saw as Goku was flying for him above water. "Come on...just a little closer." He tensed his hands, producing a purple crackling ball of energy. When Goku closed in on him, he pushed his hand forth. "Eat this!"

Goku put his arms in front of his face, taking Raditz's attack head-on. A cloud of smoke appeared before him to block his view. Raditz flipped over to regain balance of his movements and took advantage of Goku's current inability to see. He shot through the smoke and drove his hardened fist onto Goku's gut, catching said martial artist by surprise.

Raditz rammed his elbow into Goku's face and slammed the heel of his boot onto his brother's chest. The force of attack had Goku crashing onto the shore of Kame house, kicking up an insane amount of sand in the process.

Raditz hovered in the sky as he watched Goku on his back. "As close as you are to me in strength, I am the one with far more battle experience, Kakarot. When I was a little boy, I was among one of the few selected Saiyan children to be trained as a combatant. For years I have been fighting new opponents, learning new techniques...while YOU resided on this world, one full of weaklings, with the inability to learn practically anything at all! Do you really think you'd be able to outlast me in battle?"

Goku got up from the ground, chuckling a bit from Raditz's words. Raditz inspected Goku closely, seeing that he wasn't in the least bit pained by the hits he had just taken, all of which were in full force. "You know, I can't not believe you when you say that you may have learned quite a few tricks since you've been out conquering worlds for years now." He cracked his neck and started to bounce off the ball of his feet. "But..." Goku then came to a stop, "you'd be surprised at the number of techniques I've managed to learn growing up here as well."

"Tch! Try me."

Goku stopped bouncing and stood with his clenched fists by his sides, planting his feet hard into the ground. Following this, he closed his eyes and began to channel his energy.

PIPIPIPIPIPIPI

"What's this...?" Raditz's attention was focused on the numbers he was getting on his scouter, which seemed to continuously elevate. "1,315...1,675...2,375...t-three thousand!" his device was starting to go crazy at the readings. "A-and still rising!"

The sand Goku had rising from the shores circling him slowly came back down, as did his hair.

"I-I can't feel Goku's power, but...but I have a feeling that it's off the charts!" Krillin said.

"Goku's going to win, I'm sure of it," Bulma said, confident in her best friend's abilities.

"Daddy..." Gohan squeaked.

"Calm it, young boy," Roshi advised, "your daddy's going to be just fine." He fixed his shades and looked out the window, at Goku.

Goku could tell by the expression on Raditz's face that he was indeed nowhere neared pleased. "Now do you see?"

Raditz was growling in his throat. His scouter stopped beating and gave him a reading that was far higher than his own, which had to be impossible. Goku was not only a lower-class Saiyan but his younger brother! There was no way he found a way to become even stronger than him. "Battle Power 4,500..." Raditz clicked his scouter, shutting it off. "Damn thing's malfunctioning. There's no way your power could possibly exceed mines!"

"Come and find out," Goku told him.

Goku's self-assurance annoyed Raditz more and only urged him to knock that smug look off his face. "I'll happily oblige!" Raditz, in a blur of speed, dashed in for his younger brother, who felt Raditz's presence coming much slower than his own. He read his movements from a mile away and was ready for it.

BANG!

Goku was holding his brother at bay with his arm to restrict Raditz's fist from breaking through to connect to his brother's nose, the targeted area. Raditz had a bead of sweat falling from the side of his face as he tried to push on at Goku's power. Goku, on the other hand, wasn't struggling a bit.

Raditz got down to his feet and raised his foot to kick his brother at his left shoulder. Goku swatted his foot away easily and leaned back to avoid a right hook and followed up with a swift side-step to the right, dodging a straight kick to the stomach. Raditz, with great haste, turned around, coming forth with a hard elbow. Goku defended against it with his hand, stopping his attack in its tracks. Raditz tried to strike Goku with his free arm, but that was gripped tightly as well.

"You're outmatched," Goku told Raditz. "I'm giving you another chance to leave this planet and never come back."

Raditz silently cursed under his breath and backed off, with ease. Judging from his brother's current superior skill in fighting, the scouter indeed was not malfunctioning. He hated the fact that his brother out-classed him in power and wanted nothing more but to tear his head off, but Raditz was everything except stupid. To provoke Goku into further battle would merely result in his own defeat, and perhaps demise.

"Hehehe...sure, Kakarot, I'll leave, but don't even think for one moment that I won't come back."

"And then I'll have no choice but to kill you," Goku told Raditz casually.

"You forget I have friends, little brother," Raditz told Goku. "If you think I'll be gone for good, think again."

Goku smirked. "Think I'm scared? Come back with an army if you want, you won't stop me."

Raditz couldn't help but internally laugh at his brother's ignorance. "You've gotten far too used to being the strongest on this planet, Kakarot." Raditz slowly began to elevate into the sky. "Enjoy your little time here while you can. It'll all be flipped upside down in a short time." He winked prior to shooting off.

Goku watched Raditz fly off into the sky until he was no longer visible. Despite the incapability of seeing him, his dark presence was still very well felt. The only problem was that it'd be harder to feel him the further he went, the less he'd be able to sense his chi. He'd just have to concentrate on his power more.

"G-Goku!" Krillin came barging out of the house in a hurry. "Why did you let him leave!?"

"Because I gave him a chance to leave," Goku told his old friend. "If he overstays his welcome, then I'll just hafta pay him another visit."

"Daddy!" Gohan, finally getting loose of Roshi's grip, ran up to his dad and jumped into his arms.

"Hey, little guy." Goku caught his son and held him tightly in his chest. The entire time, the intense ambiance, as well as the evil presence of his unwanted uncle, had him frightened for his own father, which made him worried to unvarying degrees. Being in his dad's arms made him feel comfortable almost immediately. "Don't worry, it's all okay now," he comforted the kid, patting his back.

"Wow...I can't believe that guy's your brother," Bulma said to Goku.

"I know," Goku said with a deeper tone, taking that topic quite seriously. It was not pleasant to even take the truth, but it was what it was: the truth. "I just find it hard to believe, is all."

"I would see why," Roshi spoke up, nearing his former pupil. "To think that a pure-hearted man like you could ever be related to such savages is unthinkable!"

"But wouldn't that explain why Goku was a wild little kid as you said Goku's adoptive grandfather claimed him to be? Maybe that was the real him all along."

Goku wasn't one to think far too deeply into things, but when he did, they were more of a simplistic manner. He had the thoughts of a scenario coming to his head, as to what if he never fell into that ravine when he was a toddler? Would he really be a savage like his brother seemed to be, ruining the lives of innocents with a lack of conscience nor remorse? The mere consideration of it had him shudder, the hairs on his very skin sticking up. To look in the mirror and picture himself with the same devious smirk filled with mal-intentions such as his brother was extremely off-putting.

That wasn't him.

"Let's just say I'm thankful to have hit my head as a kid," Goku said to the others. "I'd rather be dead than come to align myself with the very likes of them."

"Spoken very well, lad," Roshi said.

"So, what now?" Krillin asked.

"Let's continue our day," Goku told his friends. "If I feel anything is up with him, then I'll be sure to handle it."

"As much as a minor problem he is to you, it seems we have more to worry about than just Piccolo," Bulma pointed out.

Goku grinned. "They're nothing." He looked down at Gohan prior to putting the boy back on his feet. "Now, let's get to meet my old friends, as I promised you would."

Raditz flew throughout the skies, deeply disappointed in his lack of success to not only recruit his hard-headed little brother but to dispose of him as a warrior. It still irked him that such a fool like Goku would somehow manage to outrank him in power. It was asinine.

Well, at the very least, Raditz would come back, but with reinforcements. The Saiyan neared the area of where he landed earlier. The body of the farmer that he had killed was still there, dead and well as predicted.

Raditz neared his pod and opened the ship up. Before he was to get in so he could take his leave, he received a message.

"Not going so soon, are you?"

Raditz stopped what he was doing as he heard a familiar voice over his scouter. It no doubt belonged to one of the other Saiyans, one of his superiors at that. "Well, yes," Raditz answered honestly. "I was planning on meeting up with you and Nappa before we headed back here to take care of the mess Kakarot didn't happen to clean up yet."

"Oh, but you can do that, can't you, Raditz?" the voice questioned.

Raditz bit his lip. Goku's power was at 4,500 and his was barely scratching 1,300. Compared to his younger brother, he wouldn't be able to last half a minute with Goku if he were to truly fight seriously. "No, Prince Vegeta. His power far outclasses mine and Nappa himself would even have some trouble with Kakarot if he weren't to take him seriously in a fight."

"Fool, do you not realize you can crush Kakarot and all those who stand in your way under the full moon?" another voice asked, it belonging to the Saiyan known as Nappa.

"Yes..." Raditz responded.

"What we're trying to make obvious to you, Raditz, is that under the full moon, Kakarot, much less anybody else on Earth, will be unable to stop you once you transform. All you need to do is wait for the full moon and then that is when you strike."

"And when is that?" Raditz asked. The two Saiyans chuckled in unison from Raditz's silly question. Raditz remained there with a blank expression plastered on his face, not understanding just what his two comrades found so amusing. "So?" Raditz furthered inquired once their laughter began to die down.

"Let's just say..." Vegeta started, "if we were to head to Earth, which would take a year from now, we'd be there by the full moon."

And that's when it finally hit Raditz.

The very next Full-Moon was to take place this very night!

His lips curled into a smirk. If he were to transform under the Full-Moon, then the scales would most definitely be tipped into his favor. He'd be far more than double the power of his little brother's current strength if he was to transform. "I see...I do have a trump card now."

"Try to find some control under the moon if possible," Vegeta told Raditz, "we can't have the possible resale value of the planet plunder if you mess up the majority in one single night."

"Understood," Raditz said. "I'll be sure of it."

The reception was cut.

Piccolo hovered in the sky above the land of where Raditz happened to be. The only reason he had not been caught was because Piccolo kept his powers hidden, having the ability to suppress himself if need be. Though not completely mastered yet, it was something he had good control over. He inspected the Saiyan carefully, quite curious as to why he had not left yet. It had been hours since he was told by Son Goku to leave Planet Earth and he didn't even bother leaving. He was just in that pod of his, which was open, allowing the fresh air of Earth to come in.

Raditz, on the other hand, was having a time of reflection.

That blasted Kakarot! Who the hell does he think he is?

He had a wind of emotions coming up at once. That of anger, discomfort, and of disenchantment.

Anger, because his little brother would outright reject him and his real family blood-line to pass the time with mere Earthlings, those he truly never belonged to. Raditz was his real family, the only brother he had, so why would Kakarot just defy him to stay in the mix with those inferior to him? Kakarot made it obvious he cared not that he and Raditz were no closer than what blood gave them to be and it pissed him off.

Discomfort, because his little brother turned out to be stronger than him. He recalled seeing his youngest when he first came to the world, born with a battle power similar to that of the farmer he had just killed subsequent to arriving on this planet. He was destined to be a lower-class Saiyan, like many Saiyans before him, and to be fighting alongside him, Nappa and Prince Vegeta. Kakarot would have the opportunity to increase in ranking, perhaps to becoming a mid-class warrior much later on in life, something many low-class Saiyans hadn't managed to achieve under the rule of Freeza due to either an early death in the field of combat or just plain complacency with their own strength. To come here and discover that Kakarot out-ranked him, having the power of a mid-class at the youthful age of 23, while he, nearing his thirties, was only just above 1,000, made him feel uneasy. Just what kind of shit did Kakarot go through to become so strong? It wasn't supposed to be like that. He was the elder brother!

That ate at his ego and self-perception as a warrior.

Disenchantment, unsurprisingly, because of his little brother, yet again. Kakarot, who preferred to call himself Goku, was a person Raditz genuinely looked forward to recruiting. It was kind of upsetting to come to the realization that he had dismissed his younger brother for so long, but he was a busy man himself, going from planet to planet, making report after report, selling world after world. The thought of his brother would cross him from time to time, but there was always something more to take away his attention at the time. Not to mention, it wasn't yet that he needed any extra help from another Saiyan, because every planet he, Nappa, or Vegeta went to, would be purged near effortlessly by them.

He was happy to come and finally see Kakarot after 20 years of not seeing him. From the moment he laid eyes on the planet, he was a bit displeased that he didn't carry out the job, but so what? The two would be able to handle everything the planet had to defend against them easily. They'd have a hell of a time sowing carnage side by side. To finally meet him and see a near spitting image of their own father made him come with a sense of relief. But with everything that happened after, total disappointment.

Raditz closed his eyes tightly and relieved himself of a deep breath. "At least there is one thing I've learned from you, little brother."

Piccolo remained there still, keeping a close eye on Raditz. The man had an insane amount of power, but even he wasn't capable of coming to touch Goku at his best. If he had a long ways to go in order to obtain a power equal to Raditz, then how long until he'd finally be able to match Goku's? That, he was unable to comprehend.

But so suddenly, Raditz's power could be felt fleeting, as if his very life force was dropping by the second. Seeing that it eventually did come to a stop, Piccolo narrowed his eyes. It didn't take very long for him to note what Raditz was doing.

"He sees a person able to hide their own power once and he imitates it immediately..." he didn't get it. Such a thing, being able to suppress own power, would take weeks and perhaps some months to be able to be able to learn it. But Raditz sees Goku do it once and tries it himself and gets it on the very first try. "must be their fighting nature..."

As Raditz lowered his power, the Saiyan took in a deep breath. He had his eyes closed as he not only reflected on many things but tried to control his own power as well. The heat that he felt radiating from the sun when he first got here was slowly fading away. The heat was replaced with a good luke-warm, a nice feel-good type of heat.

The sun was beginning to fall.

And it was only a matter of time for the moon to be out clearly in the skies of Planet Earth.

"Hahahahaha!"

Inside of Kame House, Goku and everyone else was seated around a small table. Gohan was in his father's lap, just listening in on the adult conversations that he managed to barely understand, though he wasn't the only one. His dad was having a hard time as well.

"And I thought, what en th' hell did Goku bring? She looked like some big ole' wildebeest that was capable of lifting a mountain!" Roshi was drinking a few beers and it was quite obvious he was the drunkest person in the room.

Krillin was having a hard time controlling in some of his laughter from the story Roshi was telling him. "So, did you take her in?" Krillin asked.

"Hell no!" Roshi yelled, to which Goku, Bulma, and Krillin laughed at.

"But she didn't look bad, Master Roshi," Goku told the old timer.

Roshi shook his head with a cocky grin. "I knew you'd say that, Son Goku." He turned around and started to dig into his back pocket. "Let me see what we got here..." he pulled out two pictures and slammed it on the table before him. "Now before I get Goku's opinion on both of these girls, I need to know what you think, Bulma..."

Bulma looked at two pictures of females, one had a nicely shaped face, and a nice jawline fit for a female with a very busty chest and pretty eyeshadow to match her seductive red lipstick. On the other hand, there was a black-haired female with a witch-like nose and beady eyes that looked just as evil as the man to show up at the house earlier.

"Well, I'm not into girls, but even I can tell that the girl on the left looks better than the one on the right."

"Krillin?" Roshi questioned, now asking for the opinion of his former pupil.

Krillin, like Roshi, had been drinking, though not as drunk as his old master. To be brief, Krillin was tipsy. He had a few beers here, but Roshi drunk the majority of the pack. The bald martial artist grinned and immediately pointed at the picture of the woman on the left. "Boy, the things I'd do to her on a lovely Friday night..."

"Gosh, Krillin," Bulma mumbled, "I always knew you had some pervertedness in you, but every time we meet, you're becoming more like this old geezer over here."

"Thank you very much," Roshi cheerfully said, chugging down half a beer can. He crushed it and tossed it right behind him. "BURRRRP!"

"Pewhew," Gohan said, outwardly expressing his disgust as he pinched his nose.

"Hahahahahaa!" Goku laughed, "you smell it, too, huh?"

"Yeah..." he mumbled, trying to hold in his breath.

"Now..." Roshi said, looking onto Goku. "How about you tell us? Who's prettier?" Goku stared hard at the two pictures displayed on the little table before him. His eyes constantly shifted back and forth from one female to another, trying to come up with an answer. Roshi looked over to the rest of the group and smirked. "See what I mean?"

Bulma giggled. "Goku's anything but shallow," Bulma told her friends, "you're all idiots for even trying to have him make a decision." Goku was still staring back and forth from the picture. "I remember when I first met him and tried to get the Dragon Balls off him and offered him a little puff-puff for it. He said, EW, I don't want to touch your dirty fanny or something like that."

"YOU WHAT!?" Krillin shouted.

"Oh, but you don't let me touch, huh?" Roshi asked, a huge amount of salt in his tone of voice.

Krillin laughed. "Man, just wait until I tell Yamcha about this."

Bulma instantly covered her mouth. Did she really just let that slip out the tongue? Damn, she wasn't drunk, but the alcohol was sure as hell getting to her a bit. From now on, she'd have to make it a general effort to not say anything she would regret later on. And that started with no more wine, period.

Goku ignored all of what they said and still tried to decide. It had been from looking at each woman to tapping his chin constantly as he looked up at the ceiling. "Oh, man, I don't know..." he looked down at Gohan, who was twiddling with his thumbs. "Hey, Gohan! Who do you think looks better?"

"Ah?" Gohan looked up at his dad, having not heard him correctly.

"Really, Goku?" Krillin asked, "did you have to drag your four-year-old into this topic to help you make a decision?"

"Well, he is my son," Goku said, trying to justify his reasons, "we kind of think alike at times."

Bulma chuckled. "Judging that he aims to be a scholar instead of a fighter, I find that really hard to believe..."

Gohan looked over the two decisions for just a couple of seconds and reluctantly pointed to the left picture. "T-This one?"

"That one!" Goku confidently pointed to. "I think she's better."

"Nice job, lad," Roshi told Goku's son, "you're gonna be a rock star with the ladies like I was back in the day, haha."

"Aw, man..." Krillin said, face-palming. "The kid's not even 5 yet and he can see beauty for what it is. And judging from how Roshi is telling this story, Goku must have been 12 when he did this."

"Now, 23, and still can't tell beauty," Bulma added.

"Even weirder now that he has a wife as hot as Chi-Chi," Krillin pointed out.

Gohan's head jerked up once Krillin said that. He heard his mother's name being spoken but knew not what Krillin meant when he referred to her as Hot. Seeing as to how he got to interact with his mother every day, she never seemed to be above body temperature. "What do you mean by hot?"

"Erhm...well..." Krillin rubbed his bald head. Roshi and Bulma were both snickering behind the palms of their hands. It was hilarious. Krillin was going to have to actually try and covertly explain to a four-year-old that his mother is sexually appealing without seeming overtly vulgar, as well as to make it simple enough for a four-year-old to comprehend. Had his mind not been as buzzed as it was at the current moment, he wouldn't have any troubles in the first place.

"He means to say that your mom is very pretty," Goku told Gohan. He, like the others, had been drinking as well, but with his insanely fast metabolism, it was virtually impossible for Goku to even get drunk. He'd need to drink dozens of bottles of pure bourbon at once just to feel a decent buzz.

"Y-yeah," Krillin said, agreeing with Goku, "that's exactly what I meant to say."

"Oh...I'll tell her you said that," Gohan said. "She'll be very thankful, I'm sure."

"You're right about that, buddy." Goku patted his son on the head. His head then suddenly jerked right outside the window of his home. A familiar large spike in power suddenly came out, one that had even him beginning to sweat.

The worry on his face was noted by the others. The calm, and care-free environment that took at least half an hour to create was gone in a split second.

"What's the matter, Goku?" Bulma asked, being the first to speak up.

Goku picked Gohan up and placed the kid up on his feet so he could stand up. Not once did his eyes leave from the window. The skies were dark and the stars were dazzling. "All of you stay here."

"I-it's not that guy who calls himself your brother is it?" Krillin asked.

Goku almost choked when he spoke. "It is. This time, it's much more serious than before."

"Daddy?" Gohan asked, pulling on his pant-leg.

"You stay here with Muten Roshi and the others until I get back," Goku told his son. He put on a small smile and winked at him. "I'll be back before you know it." Goku exited the front door and shot off into the dark skies.

The illumination of the full moon had the calm, cool waters sparkling underneath the flying martial artist. Dolphins hopped from underneath the water just to get a brief glimpse of the sight, some even going above Goku's head.

Piccolo was in the presence of a hundred foot rampaging monster, one that seemed to be capable of its own surroundings. The deep chuckles of the furry beast with red eyes and a long mane sent chills down his very spine.

"W-What is that?"
