When we arrived to the house there were already two Rangemen cars there. I knew the first one was tank but i didn't know who the second one belonged to.
Ranger parked and was at my side of the car before I could get out. He was taking out Delilah when I got out. I grabbed the diaper bag and came to rangers side. As we go up to the house my mouth drops open with awe. If this is the smaller house I am terrified to see the bigger one.
Tank being himself walked over and took a picture saying "don't you three make a cute family." That statement alone made me love tank as a best friend. As we start walking towards the house Lester and Bobby walk out. Now all the core team is here and it sinks in just how serious this mission is. My poor baby has no real family and I am not supposed to get stretched to her in the year minimum that we will have her. What the fuck do I do now.
Lester and Bobby walk over and when i assume they are going to see Delilah they scoop me into a bone crushing group hug reminding me that I haven't seen them in 7 months. With this reminder I brake down in tears realizing how much I missed them. Lester being a goofball says "must be the left over pregnancy hormones," causing me to slap him in the stomach not that he felt it being the wall of muscle that all rangemen are.
I automatically go back to rangers side causing the guys to smile and ranger to put his free arm around me. Delilah probably feeling the cold sinking on let's out a cry and I suggest we go inside. Once inside Delilah automatically stops crying as I try to take in the vastness of the entry way.
Lester starts playing real estate agent as he says "and this is your grand entry way though you will most likely be using the entryway from the garage."
After a nudge in the ribs from Bobby Lester walks into a living room to the side of the entryway and sits down. After we are all sitting tank pulls out a briefcase and lays out papers on the table. Once there are papers covering the whole table Tank begins to talk but I hear nothing but the ringing in my ears due to the anxiety flooding my body at the sight of all the paperwork. Ranger using his ESP sense this and turns me to face him.
Once I'm breathing normally again and can hear Ranger tells me all I need to do is fill out Delilahs birth certificate then I can go look around the house. After that calming statement I filled in my part of Delilahs birth certificate and picked up Delilah with a kiss on Rangers lips and was on my way to tour my new house.
