AN: Hi everyone! I'm finally updating this story after a long time! This might actually be the second to last chapter, most likely...
Everything was not going to be okay.
He had tried everything. Sneaking out, just waltzing out the front door, attempting to talk to an unresponsive Dave...
None of it worked. He would always end up passing out and waking up back in his own bed, or, in the case of talking to Dave, get no valid response and only be met with his father crying for him to be okay.
Alvin couldn't for the life of him figure out why Dave was being this way.
He was fine. He wasn't in danger. Simon and Theodore were.
"Alvin, please wake up... I love you, Alvin."
Why was Dave telling him to 'wake up' anyway? He wasn't even asleep!
How could he sleep when his little brothers needed rescuing?! When they were out there in the clutches of some psychos and there was nothing he could do about it?!
Was 'waking up' supposed to mean acknowledging they were gone? Did Dave want him to just 'accept them as dead' and move on?
Well he wasn't going to do that. Not while he still had his dreams.
Thanks for reading! And a special shout out to Bratette for figuring out something about this story(before reading this chapter) that, at the beginning, I had assumed was common sense, but that most people couldn't figure out!
