"I should have known. That idiot doesn't understand anything." Astrid said. Astrid's old habits were coming back, her anger at everything. "Ari calm down-" "No, I will not. I have someone to see, so move it." Astrid said cutting Ares off. She picked herself up out of the lake, and went to one of the only people she could trust.

"Persephone?" Astrid called out. She whirled around, instead of Persephone, it was Hades. "Well, here comes the girl who needed the Gods to make her smart." Hades said. Astrid let out a bitter laugh. "At least the Underworld is brighter than your future." Astrid said. She heard laughing, followed by clapping. It was Persephone. "Well, dearest sister, I need to learn some insults from you." Persephone said, smiling. She always saw me as her sister. "Persephone, why is she here?" Hades asked. "Well, I snuck in, came to steal your hellhounds." Astrid answered for Persephone.
Hades stepped forward, but Astrid held her hand up at him. "I have more lightning bolts from where that came from." She said, before walking away. "Nice job on trying to kill me by the way." Astrid called over her shoulder.
Her and Persephone sat and talked for ages.

When Astrid arrived back at Olympus, she saw that everyone had left. She curled up in Athena's chair, and fell asleep. Athena came in, only to hear Astrid talking in her sleep. "I will destroy Olympus, my lord. I will do you proud. You want me to break up with him? Of course, I'm sorry for questioning my lord." Astrid was saying. Athena shook Astrid awake. "Okay, okay I'm awake, whats up?" She asked. Athena told her what she said in her sleep. "I have to break up with him then, I can't disobey Kronos, he will kill me." Astrid said. She only just noticed that Nico was standing there, listening.
"I'm so sorry, Nico. I wish I didn't have to do this." Astrid said, she was so unhappy that she started creating rainstorms. "I love you, and I always will." Astrid said before turning to leave.

I hated it. The boy I loved so much, I have to let go. I will kill. I will destroy Kronos. He is in the depths of Tartarus, but I'll destroy him through my head. I pulled off my sword, and started training. I was the best. I needed it to destroy Kronos, it's all because of the parts I was given from him to help me survive. I was so focused, I didn't hear Annabeth yell out to me. She came over, looking annoyed. "Kelpie, the war isn't going ahead. Hades will not go ahead with it. Is that where you went before?" She asked. "Yep, went to go see Persephone, but ran into Hades. Knocked some sense into him, it worked obviously." I said.
Annabeth sighed. "Percy has been wanting to talk to you, as his sister. He won't tell me why though." I nodded and walked over to Percy. He saw me and shuffled over on the grass, making room for me. "What's up?" I asked. Call me bipolar, but my emotions take over at different times. "I just want to get to know my twin sister," Percy said. "Well, I'm still not changing my mind about Poseidon. This doesn't change anything." Astrid said. Percy smiled.
"Yeah, you have every right to. That includes our mother. She shouldn't have said or thought any of that. I'm your other half, I will always side with you, no matter what." He said. "Well than, I need your help with something..." Astrid started whispering in his ear. His eyes widened, then he smiled. "Of course," Percy whispered back.

Nico was shocked. He understood why Astrid had to do it, but he was still shocked. The girl he had grown to love, had to leave him. He hated it. But Astrid was a warrior, a fighter. He understood that it would be better if they were friends. Astrid had once mentioned to him that she always wanted to be a Hunter, but a different kind. One that could visit Olympus and Camp Half-Blood at anytime, and when needed, she would be called by Artemis. Astrid said she knew that Artemis would say yes, Artemis was the one who taught her to fight. He was happy for her. Plus he couldn't be with a child of Poseidon, they weren't meant to get along.

Astrid was heading over to where Artemis was staying. She wanted to join the Hunters, but under her own conditions. Artemis was always like an older sister to her. "Nova," Artemis called out. Artemis called her Nova, for some unknown reason. "Yeah," Astrid called back. "You haven't visited in ages!" Artemis exclaimed. She was smiling so much, and not to mention, covered in silver. "I was wondering if I could join the Hunters. You know how much I have always wanted to," Astrid asked. "I was waiting for you to say that!" She exclaimed, then her face went dark and serious.
"Are you sure you want this, your father wouldn't be happy." Astrid laughed humorlessly. "Since when did I care what my father said, and yes, I'm sure. You know my conditions?" Astrid asked. "Yes, and I agree to them, now my dear sister, repeat after me. 'I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood and join the Hunt.'" Artemis finished. I saw my other friend, Zoë Nightshade, round the corner, she smiled when she saw me, unaware of what was happening.
Astrid took a deep breath. "I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood and join the Hunt." Zoë spoke up, "Do you accept, my lady?" "I accept," Artemis said smiling. "Nova! I didn't know you were going to join. Let me guess, it was under certain conditions like everything else you join?" Zoë asked Astrid. Most of the Hunters called her Nova, it was shorter than saying 'Astrid'. Astrid smiled. "You know me way too well." "Lady Artemis, can we leave, I would like to show our sisters Nova," Zoë asked. Artemis nodded.
Astrid had this strange obsession with silver now. "Fellow Hunters, our new sister, one you all know well." Zoë introduced Astrid. They all said things like, "Nova's back", "I knew Nova would join, congratulations." Astrid finally felt happy, that's when Artemis came out, looking serious. "Sisters, I have business to attend to, and sadly I can't bring any of you. You will have to stay at Camp Half-Blood." The Hunters started complaining, then they straightened up. "Zoë, Nova, you will lead them there. Zoë, Nova is your second in command, you will be first." Artemis said, before leaving.
