"All I'm saying, Mr. Uchiha, is-"
"It's Mr. Umino …" Iruka said nervously, he knew this day would come; but that didn't make him hate it any less.
"Ahh- right, I always forget you two have different last names…. Have you thought of changing yours, Iruka?" Mr. Haruno said, causing Iruka's heart to clench 'Of course I have to change my name… even though I'm the parent and the child usually changes their last name… these people only care about image…'
"No, I haven't…"
"Really? Well you should- your son's heritage could get you a lot of places. Maybe then you wouldn't live in a house like this-"A loud growl erupted from behind the locked door- a signal Sasuke was listening in.
"Like what? Mr. Haruno." Iruka asked sharply, how dare this man come into his house uninvited and insult him. After sensing this wasn't a topic to talk about. Mr. Haruno coughed into his hand and started again.
"N-Never mind. Anyway back to what I was saying, Mr. Umino – I believe Sasuke and Sakura would make a great pair! They seem to get along well and with Sakura's upcoming heat and Sasuke the perfect age to rut, there should be no problem!" Mr. Haruno exclaimed, his seemingly friendly demeanor was ruined by the greed in his eyes.
"I am sorry Mr. Haruno, but I must decline." Iruka said bluntly. Once seeing Mr. Haruno's shocked face he continued; "I already asked Sasuke on his opinion on Sakura and he isn't very fond of her." Sakura emitted a hurt whimper from behind the door. "And I will only allow Sasuke to mate with a sub that he chooses himself, so if this is all that you wanted to discuss I must ask you to leave now." Iruka got up and unlocked the door to the hallway, where Sasuke was smirking while walking back to his favorite spot on the couch. Also where a distraught Sakura was looking frantically at her owner.
"M-Mr. Umino, please reconsider!" Mr. Haruno begged as Iruka escorted him to the door, along with his whimpering humanoid.
"I am sorry Mr. Haurno, Sasuke is not interested in your humanoid. Thank you for your time and offer but I need to get ready for an important meeting today and you've already cut into my time to get ready. Goodbye now." Closing the door with more force than necessary, Iruka heaved a heavy sigh and leaned against the door.
Not two seconds later, two large and strong arms wrapped around Iruka's head, and a large and low purr vibrated from the top of his head where the lion humanoid was nuzzling. Smiling softly, Iruka reached up to run his fingers through dark strains of hair, causing the purring to strengthen and a long sleek tail to slightly flick back and forth.
"Sasuke, you know visits like these won't stop until you've officially mated… or at least they won't be as frequent… Are you sure there isn't a submissive you're interested in? Not event that yellow bird Ino?" Iruka questioned, looking up at his son who was already two inches taller than him. Sasuke was truly a sight to behold, he was tall, had muscles that a normal humanoid his age shouldn't have, and with his handsome face with sharp jaw lines and dark almond shaped eyes- it was no wonder he got offer each day.
"No. I don't want to mate. You should follow my footsteps, mom." Sasuke's deep baritone voice said, a slight glare in his eyes. Iruka chuckled at his son's protectiveness.
"I am not canceling my date with Kakashi, Sasuke. Now let's take your picture for the institution and then please go get ready. He and his humanoid are taking us out to dinner, so please look presentable." After hearing Sasuke grunt, Iruka untangled himself from his son's strong hug to get the camera ready. The institution would be expecting a letter from him soon, it was a little hassle to remember taking a picture and writing a report of Sasuke's growth and wellbeing every month… but if it meant he could keep his son it was definitely worth all the trouble in the world.
Getting the camera the institution provided him, he aimed it at Sasuke, who already stood next to the measuring tape to show his height.
"Alright, done! I'm going to mail this – so please go get ready, I have some clothes picked out already so as soon as you're done getting dressed we can leave." Sasuke let out a large groan of displeasure, a growl following closely behind. "Come on it won't be that bad, you never know- maybe you and his humanoid will get along!" Ha. Sasuke getting along with anyone other than his Mom would be a sight to see.
"Plus… after dinner we can go to that store you like and you can get all the origini you want~" Iruka bribed, causing Sasuke's ears to perk up. With a humph, the black lion marched off to his room. Smiling triumphantly, Iruka quickly began putting the letter together
"NARUTO! It's time to leave!" Kakashi yelled, fixing his tie in the mirror. He had on his best outfit that wasn't a suit; a white dress shirt with black pants and a black tie. All ironed and clean thanks to Naruto. Small thumps came down the stairs and Kakashi turned to look at his stunning son.
Naruto had on his favorite light orange kimono, with small blue flowered details that swerved and curled around in patterns. With a small white obi that highlighted the curve in his waist.
"Do I look okay? Do you think Iru will like it?" Kakshi chuckled at the nickname Naruto had taken a liking to. He was so excited when Kakashi told him he'd be a bale to meet Iruka, It was supposed to be a date just between Kakashi and Iruka but Iruka had informed Kakshi that his son had some anxiety issues about being alone for too long and the both decided pretty quick that it would be fine for the two humanoids to meet.
Giving Naruto a kiss on his cheek, Kakashi's eyes began to water. His son was so beautiful, it was only a matter of time before Naruto would be swept off his feet by some alpha and out of his father's hands.
"You look gorgeous, If Iruka doesn't like it then he must have horrible eye sight." Kakashi ruffled Naruto's soft hair, causing a soft giggle from the sub. "Let's get on the road, they should be on their way now." Grasping Naruto's little hands, he and Kakashi walked out the door.
HEYYY Sorry for the long wait- SASUKE AND NARUTO MEET NEXT CHAPTER! This is a big filler chapter but I thought you guys should at least know I'm a live :)
