Chapter 6
"Ever since Tina left, Sarah, Dawn and Hope trained for a month getting stronger," Sparks started as Sarah, Dawn, and Hope nodded in agreement.
"When the month ended, I disguised myself to get information on them," Tina crossed her arms.
"We didn't even know it was Tina in disguise until we went to the base with Shade," Sarah sat down on the ground.
"Shade brought us to the base where there were a lot of black demons. We got rid of the demons quickly then Kurai showed up," Hope followed Sarah's action.
"I came when I heard Sarah say my name a few seconds later. They asked questions and I didn't answer. Instead, I attacked them," Tina leaned against a tree as Midnight looker at her.
"Tina's attack was hard to shake off. It shows that she has been training hard during the month," Hope told as Tina and the siblings nodded in agreement.
"Shade and I talked a bit…" Tina looked at the ground, "We confessed our feelings and I told him my past."
" A few days later, the sky suddenly turned black and the black demons were everywhere around an hour later," Dawn sat down next to Sarah.
"We along with Shade headed to Kurai's lair and went inside. That was after we learned about the marks," Sarah indicated Tina who showed her mark.
"I came to greet them and we clashed. They would've died if it wasn't for Shade and I told the girls my past. I showed them the door as Kurai teleported me," Tina glared at the ground.
"We went through the door and ended up in a long hallway. We reached the end to find a door there," Dawn pulled out some grass.
"When we got passed the gate…we saw Kurai on a chair and…Tina near death. Then we saw him kill Tina. Dawn was killed next by Kurai," Hope took a deep breath as Dawn shivered.
"Then how are you two still alive!?" Midnight looked at Tina and Dawn with disbelief.
"I appeared in front of the siblings and revived Dawn using my powers. The I told them that I used my powers right before Kurai killed me to make it look like I died," Tina answered as Midnight nodded.
"Then we managed to surround Kurai after he attacked us and give him the final blow!" Hope affirmed as the siblings nodded.
"When we got out of Kurai's lair, we met up with Sparks. Then a week later, Sarah, Dawn and Hope lost their powers when their marks disappeared. That made me the only one with powers," Tina concluded as she sighed and looked at Midnight.
"You all had it rough two years ago," Midnight looked at them as Sarah nodded.
"That's right. Now we can have normal lives like most people," Sarah gave a smile to Dawn that was returned.
"Did you keep your powers a secret from the rest of you family?" Midnight game them a confused look.
"Sarah, Dawn, and I did. Sparks didn't have powers and Tina is an orphan," Hope explained as Midnight walked up to Tina.
"Your life sucks Tina," Midnight smiled as Tina stood up and narrowed her eyes while the other girls looked at each other.
"Someone like you shouldn't be saying that to me," Tina raised one of her arm that was grabbed by Sparks as her eyes turned black.
