Chapter 6: Vows for Life

"I feel bad for Takumi!" Chiyo giggled.

"Well…" Misaki shrugged. "That just kinda slipped out…" She sighed. It was the first night, since they moved in together, had she and Takumi slept in different beds under the same roof. She also had a hard time falling asleep due to the missing heat next to her. "But the wedding's only a week away, so it's not that bad."

Shizuko puts down her tea. "Well you two have been in one bed for a few months now." She grinned. "Didn't you do anything then?"

Misaki blushed. "N-No!" She buried her face in her hands. "We didn't do anything!"

"Are you sure?" Sakura pressed, moe flowers blossomed around her.

"Y-Yes!" Misaki cried. "Stop asking me about all these embarrassing questions!"

"Well don't rush things, Sakura." Shizuko adjusted her glasses. "They'll get to it soon. Marriage came first for us too."

Chiyo and Sakura broke down into fits of giggles.

"W-What?" Misaki gave them a confused look.

"You'll find out soon enough." Chiyo said between giggles. Sakura, on the other hand, couldn't even stop laughing and just nodded her head in agreement.

~Time Skip: Wedding Day~

"Misaki!" Shizuko said, hugging her tightly. "You look beautiful."

She was wearing a white strapless sweetheart neckline dress and was decorated with small white flowers along the neckline. And with it, a silky white ribbon tied at the back at her waist. Her long flowy dress had some light ruffles and some white pearls that glistens every time she moves. Her hair was put up and had some curls to frame her face. She had a beautiful crystal yarn flower headpiece with imitation pearls and had some small fluffy feather. Her veil was waist length and had it covering both her shoulders.

"Thanks Shizuko." Misaki smiled.

Sakura grabbed the bride's hand, "Misaki. I'm so happy for you!"

Chiyo gave Misaki a small kiss on the cheek. "I wish I was beautiful like you."

Misaki laughed. "Chiyo, you are beautiful."

"We need to leave you now." Shizuko said.

"Don't get too nervous and run away, 'kay?" Sakura joked.

"I'll try." Misaki sighed. And with that, the girls filed out the room.

-Outside the Grand Chapel doors-

"Dad…" Misaki whispered to the man standing next to her.

"Yes?"

"I wanna go home…." She whined.

Her dad couldn't help but laugh. "It'll be fine. Though I'm not in the position to say, since I was never a bride, but I'm sure Takku is also nervous like you."

"And how do you know?"

"Well," Sakuya chuckled. "I felt it before… when your mother and I got married."

The organ started to play; The Grand Chapel doors slowly opened. The blinding lights made Misaki shut her eyes for a splint second. "Misaki." Sakuya pats her hand, that was looped around his arm. "Head high, back straight, shoulders back. Today's your day."

Misaki couldn't help but smile. "You sound like Okaa-San."

Sakuya shrugged. "I can't give you back the time you spent without me, but I'll do my best to make it up to you all."

One foot after the other, Misaki walked down the aisle. "Just stay with Okaa-San." She whispered to him. "She needs you the most."

"Yes, I will."

Misaki smiled. Her friends all stood up to get a good look at the bride. With her head held high, she could see Takumi. His hair was slicked back like molten gold. His white tux showed no sign of any creases. His jade eyes sparkled brighter and brighter with each step she took towards him. In front of her were Gerard and Stephanie's, his wife, children, Jerry and Jackie, whom acted as flower children. They playfully scattered beautiful red rose petals in front of them and they walked.

To Takumi, she was like a goddess approaching him. Stepping on red roses; wearing a beautiful long white dress; a boutique of flowers in hand; Misaki's the most beautiful woman he's ever met!

The organ's music stopped and Misaki was in front of him. Even though it was hard to see, Takumi was sure that behind the white veil, Misaki had a little blush tinted on her cheeks. Takumi extended his hand towards her. Sakuya, who suddenly got teary, gently took her hand off his arm and placed it on Takumi's. He clasped his hands on theirs and whispered to Takumi, "Take care of her real well, Takumi. If not, as a father, I will beat you up!" he sniffed. "And don't you ever abandon her, like how I did."

"I won't." Takumi promised. Satisfied with the answer he was given; Sakuya went and sat next to Minako.

The priest, who was Gerard's friend, not that anyone would know- except Takumi and Gerard of course (I mean, ya know, those brothers), cleared his throat. "Takumi Walker, do you take this good looking lady you're holding hands with as your lawfully wedded wife?"

Misaki's, along with everyone else, jaws literally dropped. What kind of priest is this?! Takumi just grinned, "I-"

"Ah!" The 'priest' held up his hand. "I'm sorry I wasn't quiet done yet." He smiled, "Please excuse my clumsiness. Anyways, Takumi Walker, please keep in mind that once you are to take Misaki Ayuzawa as you wife, you must stay loyal to her –like a dog, but better-, you must be with her through thick and thin, you must never abandon her, and no matter if she is rich or poor, you will always be there for her."

There was a pause at the 'priest's' blunt and not so holy 'speech'. Takumi covered his laugh with a cough, "Yes, I do."

"Ah wonderful," the man said. "And what about you, Misaki Ayuzawa? You wouldn't say no would you? I mean if I were a girl, I'd fall head over heels with this hottie right here."

Everyone laughed, leaving a very confused and baffled Misaki. She was definitely relieved that she had a veil to cover her face, or else the blush on her cheeks would make her look like she has a fever, or worse! "I-I do." She stuttered.

"Wonderful! Now are there any objections to this marriage? OF COURSE THERE ISN'T! NOW EXCHANGE THOSE BIG DIAMOND RINGS!" The 'priest' shouted, raising both his hand up into the air.

Chuckling, Kuuga, being Takumi's best man, handed Takumi the silver band with a single diamond. Takumi flashed Misaki his award winning smile and carefully set the ring to its rightful place on her left ring finger. Misaki blushed and took the ring that was handed to her by one of her bridesmaid, Sakura, and slipped it onto Takumi's left ring finger.

"Good. Good." The 'priest' nods his head. "Now Mr. Walker, I know, like any other man, you would love to kiss your beautiful bride now." He looks around the room, at the newly wedded couple, the guests, and some of the media, who were all just staring at him like he was the weirdest priest ever- well technically he was, considering the fact that he wasn't a priest to begin with. "I know I'm handsome, but you all have to stop staring at me! Come on, groom, kiss those lips!"

"Well," Takumi grinned as he lifts her veil and placed his hands on his wife's cheeks. "Allow me." With that, he leans in and kissed her. When they broke apart, the crowd cheered.

Everyone rushed up to congratulate the newly wedded couple. The reporters took pictures and thrusting their microphones in front of the couple, but still had a good distance around them. "Mr. Walker!" one said, "what was your reaction to this 'priest'?"

Takumi chuckled, "He's one of my brother's friends. And I knew about this for quite a while."

"What?!" Misaki exclaimed.

"So I take it that Mrs. Walker had no idea of this?" The reporter lightly teased.

"I had no clue…" Misaki said seriously, but a smile still bled through. "And I don't think a priest would be like that anyways. I need to meet this man."

"You shouldn't be thinking of any other men after you just wedded someone." Takumi teased. "I should be the only man to occupying your mind 24/7."

Some female reporters sighed as some laughed.

Misaki rolled her eyes, "That's not going to happen…"

"And why's that?" Another reporter asked.

Misaki definitely had no idea how to answer this. She loved Takumi, and it was kinda true that he did occupy her mind 24/7…

"Because she wants a baby boy." Takumi smirked.

Everyone in the room giggled. The reporters were finally done with their small interview and all left. "Now it's time to party!" the fake priest announced. He turned to Misaki and Takumi, "Hello Mrs. Walker, I am Paul Smith. It's an honor to have been your priest." He said with a wink.

Misaki laughed, "Well Mr. Smith, you sure made this wedding… interesting."

"All thanks to those Walker brothers."

"Should have known…"

"Well, you do realize that one of 'those Walker brothers' stands right here, right?" Takumi teased.

"Well aren't you happy today, Mr. Walker." Paul smiled. "Usually you're all in your business mode and never really fool around."

"I'll give the joking around with you role to Gerard." Takumi said. "After all you do see each other more often than I. After this we will be returning to Japan."

"Ah, yes." Paul nodded. "True. Well then I will have to make the best of this. Make sure to enjoy yourself, after all it's your wedding." He gave them a small wave and joined a group with Gerard.

"I have to go change my dress," Misaki said.

"Why?" Takumi pouted. "You look pretty in this wedding dress…"

"Well I need a dress to be easy to walk around with." Misaki shrugged. "Sakura made me get a new party dress. Did you see it? The one that I got the day I sorta got into an accident?"

"Let's not talk about that." Takumi sighed. "Well go change, I want to see this dress on you. Or do you need help?"

"NO!" Misaki made a face at him and left with Sakura. "That pervert…" She mumbled.

"What was that Misaki?" Sakura asked.

"It's nothing.."

"Well you're going to have to time of your life today!" She exclaimed.

"I know." Misaki said, smiling. "I knew a long time ago."
