Apollon POV

Confused he looked around. The world was beautiful. The sky was a bright blue, only small purely white coulds were seen and the sun was shining with all it´s might. A smile appeared on his face, when he closed his eyes and felt the sun´s warmth. Opening his eyes, he looked around in the garden, he had found himself wandering through. The grass was very healthy green, just as the trees and plants, not to forget the colorful flowers, that seemed to be everywhere. Admiring the landscape he came near a giant building.

Finally it hit him. His memories seemed to be a little mixed up, if he couldn´t remember his father´s great plan, to make gods understand humans better than before. Apollon though didn´t really know, why he was here. He always thought, he had a good relation with humans. Unlike some other gods he didn´t look at them as inferior beings.

Thinking about why he was here, he heard some determined foot steps, who then stopped. A sound, of someone dropping on his knees could be heard and a girls voice. His senses were much better than that of a human, but he couldn´t understand what she said, neither could he see her. Intrigued he went on, and finally discovered the girl.

She was indeed on her knees, looking at the ground, talking to herself it seemed. Her long straight purple hair was tied into a low ponytail with a red ribbon and she wore a blue blouse and brown shorts. Her clothes did look slightly strange to him, but he forgot about that, when he saw her face. Her eyes were light hazel, a beautiful colour, but they looked sad, depressed, as if she was feeling down. Something must have happened. His heart was beating a little faster, when he approached her with a smile. Miss, what is it? what´s wrong? He got on his knees to meet her face to face.

She must be the human representative. It just felt like she was a human. No god would act like her. When she looked up, her eyes didn´t look sad any more. She looked a little bit dazed and didn´t say anything, so Apollon decided to keep the conversation going. Nice to meet you, lovely young lady. He didn´t stop smiling, and enjoyed it, when her cheeks flushed red a little bit. Her eyes were still locked on his face. Apollon didn´t know what it was, but he felt something, something...strangely familiar, as if he had experienced it once already, but he couldn´t put his finger on it.

It made his heart beat faster and his eyes glow cheerfully. He loved seeing her a little embarrassed, as a reaction to his words. Are you the human representative I´ve heard of? Or not? Are you not? Worry shadowed his face. Had he misjugded her? He was talking faster now, hoping she would interrupt her silence and speak to him. Finally she answered unsurely. It´s me. His face lit up again, happy that his assumption had been true. Apollon touched her cheek softly with his hand and laughed slightly. What a suprise, meeting a human girl here. Her hair touched his hand and he began playing with it, as he spoke, fascinated by it´s softness. Truly a suprise. Her eyes followed the motion of his hand, and she looked baffled.

When her eyes darted back to him, they were widely open and her voice shook a little bit, as she spoke. Uhm... you´re...a little... Her eyes avoided his gaze again and her voice got lower. Close... Instantly he let his hand sink. Oh! Right! He took her hand into his and kissed it softly, just very briefly, but he enjoyed every second his lips touched her soft, little hands. She made a suprised sound and blushed even more. Looking up at her face again, he smiled widely. I am Apollon. I am a greek god. Smiling even brighter, he repeated his words before. Nice to meet you.

This time she shrieked and tried to free her hand, but Apollon just took it again and helped her up, with a quick pull. His other hand lay on her hip, to make sure, she wouldn´t fall down. She looked at him, astonished and embarrassed, the only thing, that she could say was Huh? When their faces got closer together, his hand drew her towards him.

For a short moment Apollon was baffled too. His heart raced insanely fast and her eyes had caught him off guard. So innocent and sweet. He felt a sting inside his chest, as if he should really remember something, but he just couldn´t. Suddenly noticing how close they were, he gave her a kiss on her cheek.

The girl wasn´t too fond of that. She pushed herself away from him, flustered and kind of irritated. W-What are you doing?! Suprised he looked at her, looking like, she was going to defend herself against him. Huh? I was introducing myself...I was being polite. He smiled again, convinced she would understand now. Perhaps where she came from, people weren´t that polite. She looked confused and still embarrassed. B-But.. She looked down. Now he was shocked. Did he do something wrong? Have I offended you? You´re from another country aren´t you? In your country, do they greet people different? Anxiously he waited for her answer and was relieved to hear her answer. Y-Yes..

Apollon could have hit himself with a brick. Of course that was it. Quickly he bowed apologetic. Sorry...I´m sorry! I must have confused you! His heart jumped when he heard her voice again. It´s okay! He laughed. Good! But instead of smiling back, she looked down again. Worried he looked at her. Is something wrong? If something is bothering you, I´ll listen. She put her hands together and started talking. The way she acted, the way she moved, it moved something inside of him. Just what was it?

She was very unhappy about her being here to teach the gods about humans and love, not because of the task itself, but because of the circumstances. First of, she had no idea where she was and she wanted to go home. That was understandable. He bowed down to her, so see her face to face and smiled kindly. I see...that´s why you looked like, you were about to cry...Don´t cry! I´m on your side! I´m your ally! He decided to help her with her problem, since he didn´t know, what this place was too, he called for his friend, a pegasus, a winged horse.

The girl seemed confused at first and a little bit frightened by the horse, but he quickly convinced her that the pegasus was a friendly being, and soon she smiled while stroking it. His heart jumped slightly. Such a beautiful sight. Then he remembered. Miss, what is your name? He had wanted to know that, from the very beginning. She turned towards him. It´s Kusanagi Yui. Kusanagi Yui... Apollon loved the sound of the name, as he enjoyed hearing foreign names, but...he already had another name for her, much more fitting. He told her his thoughts and smiled brightly. May I call you ,,Fairy"?...Because you´re lovely like a fairy!

When he swung himself on the back of the pegasus and extended his hand towards her, his thoughts wouldn´t stop spinning all around her.

This was the very beginning of Apollons recovery, even if he didn´t know that yet. Hades, who had watched them from the shadows, did know that and smiled for his nephew, hoping that he would find the happiness, that he deserved.
