"I can't believe I'm actually pulling this off, those fools won't know what hit them!"

He's rambling, he's speaking and gloating and he won't stop. He left you here with an order to stay. He abandoned you in a body you couldn't even control. This cave, this cave that you recognize as your own from way back when. It's smaller now, or bigger, you don't you, you can't tell. It's changed, it no longer feels like yours. It's cluttered in books, books with evil magic lurking in them, magic that burns your nose as you breathe the dusty smell.

You don't know him, you don't know his name or why he brought you back. He's using you, that much you can tell (why's everything so clear, nothing's foggy, you can think think and you don't know if you even want to think). He came back and he started talking about things you can't understand and he seems so proud and you hate him.

"With you, with you I'll get my revenge," he says standing in front of where you're sitting ramrod straight as he ordered you to be so many hours before (it hurts sitting like this you want to stretch but he won't let you and you can't control it and-). "You were broken before though, and that couldn't do," he's petting your chest (the part he can reach, humans are so small and breakable, you want to break him) like you're nothing but a loyal hound and you want to snap your jaws around his body and swallow him whole.

"I fixed your wounds, those were easy," he steps away, though his eyes never stray from you, "but you were broken. Your mind was in shatters and your soul was as durable and strong as a moth eaten cloth." You knew you were broken, (you knew you knew you knew) but it hurts to have someone confirm it, to make your fears a reality. You're worthless and pathetic and even this man with evil in his heart didn't want you as you were. Broken.

"I fixed you though, sewed up the holes with magic and rebuilt your mind," he tutted, turning away and you can smell his disappointment. What right does he have to be disappointed in you? You're the one disappointed, you'd been sleeping, resting, finally ignorant to all your memories and pain and this stupid b*stard brought you back and reminded you why you hated yourself so.

"But magic could only do so much. I fixed what I could, but you'll always be broken. No amount of magic can fix what you are: worthless," you want to yell and scream and cry. Shut up shut up shut up! You don't want to hear him, you don't want to hearhim. You know, you already know. Why does he need to remind you?! When you can't even defend yourself...

"Blocking you out and just controlling your body was the easier option, well, not the easier option. If you had just been competent enough, I wouldn't have had to use up all my magical stores up on blocking you from controlling your body," he took a seat at the other end of the cave, frowning as he opened up one of the books and began scanning over it. "Now I have to waste my time waiting for them to refill, until then those stupid brats are still running about alive and well. Soon, soon I'll get my revenge."

Your eyes burn but you know they're not an angry purple or peaceful yellow (like they were with your little blue boy's descendent. Just like his ancestor, blue blue eyes and a soul so pure you could see the glow through the windows to his soul). They were white. White like that man's eyes. He controlled you, and you could do nothing but watch.

"So... What's the plan?" Jerome questioned after a few minutes of walking. His ear twitched as Seto, who was leading the group, turned his head slightly to raise an eyebrow in his direction. Mitch snickered as Jerome's ears lowered in embarrassment.

"I already explained what we were doing, Jerome. Were you not listening?" Seto asked as Sky joined Mitch's laughter. Jerome glared at his two friends.

"...no," Jerome admitted as Dawn rolled her eyes instead of outright laughing like the rest of the group. Seto sighed.

"We're currently heading to my place, Jerome. I'll research a bit more on Serendys and after I know the general location of the ruins, I'll look up a spell that'll send us all there," Seto paused as they reached his abode. He led his friends inside before continuing his explanation. "Once we're there, I suppose we'll investigate. Hopefully we'll learn more about Sky's origins and this dragon Herobrine has managed to resurrect."

"Basically we're going on an adventure with magic and treasure in the form of information," Ian piped up as he found a spot to relax near a bookcase. Seto sent him a glare as he rifled through a few dusty books. The group spread throughout Seto's place, finding seats for themselves as they waited for Seto to find what he was looking for.

"So, is Sky like a legit prince?" Quentin spoke up after a long stretch of silence broken only by the sound of pages turning and the occasional shifting to find a more comfortable position. Seto rubbed at the bridge of his nose, setting down the tomb he was currently searching through. All eyes were on him as he opened his eyes once more.

"From what I can gather, before Serendys was turned into the empty ruins it is now, just as the war that tore it apart began to break out, the prince was reported missing. There's no pictures or descriptions on how the prince looked, only that he was a mere babe when he was reported missing," Seto leaned back in his chair as he once again picked up the tomb and flipped quickly through the pages, "there were a few conspiracies indicating that the king and queen had sent the prince away for his own safety, but nothing was ever proven.

"I found nothing more on the prince, but I did find something interesting about the dragon. Apparently, the dragon was known as Rynth by the people of Wyrsil. They saw him as a deity, a god if you will, and the royal family were apparently under his protection. This went on for hundreds of years until the dragon's reign of terror ended at the hands of the man who would later become the king. This man changed the kingdom of Wyrsil into what it is today, Serendys, though it's just ruins now.

"There's not much else, even though Serendys was only recently reduced to what it is now, they were very much cut off from the rest of the world. The kingdom is completely surrounded by mountains and wooden areas. They had no relations with other kingdoms and basically isolated themselves since it was built."

"Guess we'll just have to explore the place ourselves if we want more information," Kermit murmured sleepily, eyes closed and looking very much close to nodding off. Sky poked him and only got swatted lazily in response.

"That we will. Let me just look through some of my old maps; the landmarks may be more than a bit outdated but for the spell I found, I'll only need a vague idea of our destination," Seto said as he returned his books to their former place, standing up and heading to an old bookcase in the far corner.

The rolls of maps he was looking for were higher than he could reach and he turned to ask Jason and his jet pack to help him only for the grinning astronaut to be but a few inches away. "Do you need anything?" Jason asked, all smiles behind his helmet as Seto tried to stop his racing heart caused by the sudden question.

"Just get me the maps up there, there should be something that could help in one of them," Seto answered and watched as the astronaut easily reached the rolled up parchments.

"All of them?" He asked, peering down at the sorcerer who nodded. "Alrighty then," Jason said, grabbing the maps and handing them down to Seto.

"Thanks Jason," Seto called back as he returned to his desk. He unraveled them and peered down at the ink drawings somewhat faded over time.

"How'd you even get your hands on these; they look pretty old," Ian commented, having wandered over to Seto, seemingly having grown bored of chatting with Ty and Sky who were having a heated argument over something in the far end of the room.

Seto didn't look up at him, his attention on the maps in front of him. "A sorcerer never reveals his secrets," he replied, a mischievous smirk on his face as Ian rolled his eyes.

"Whatever man, I thought you said this place was only recently destroyed?" Ian continued, picking up a small jewel being used as a paper weight off of Seto's desk.

"There are probably more recent maps of Serendys, but I don't happen to have them. Most were probably destroyed during the attack on Serendys," Seto explained as his eyes tracked a specific circle of mountains on one of his many maps.

"How much longer are you gonna take, Seto?" Quentin called over from his place next to Dawn. Seto waved his question away, eyes zeroing in on a field on the map.

"Not much longer now, I know where we're going. Let me set up a few things and we'll be ready to go," Seto said triumphantly as the group immediately began standing, excitement growing around them.

"Well, don't take too long, Seto, I doubt they're gonna be able to withstand just standing around much longer," Dawn suggested, eying her fiancé, Jerome, and Mitch who were enthusiastically chatting about the 'adventure'.

"Don't worry, Dawn, it won't take more than a few more minutes," the sorcerer assured his female companion as he directed Kermit, Quentin and Ian on where to move piles of books and furniture so there was a large circle of space in the middle of the room. Seto hurriedly walked over to the middle of the room, carrying a bowl he'd been smashing a few berries and a few other mystery liquids in while the others were clearing the floor. He crouched and dipped his fingers in the thick liquid before beginning to draw symbols on the floor.

"That's gonna be a b*tch to clean," Ty pointed out as the sorcerer continued drawing sigils on the floor, muttering a few incomprehensible words under his breath.

"It sure is, you b*stards are gonna be the ones cleaning it up," Seto pointed out as he stood, wiping his fingers off on a rag Sky handed him. The group had a collective groan but didn't protest. The sorcerer walked into the middle of the circle, taking care not to step in any of the spaced out markings.

"Alright, we're set to go, hurry up and stand behind me, please try not to step on any of the sigils." Once everyone was in place, having barely kept from stepping on the liquid staining the floor, Seto stuck a hand out and began chanting under his breath. A soft purple glow emitted from his hand and grew stronger as the seconds passed. The glow grew brighter until it completely engulfed the room before disappearing completely with a bright flash, the group taken with it.
