Motel California
"Come on Derek, stay with me." Kristie said as she walked into Derek's loft, as she carried, well dragged, Derek inside. "I feel like I should be taking you to Deaton or even the hospital."
"No." Derek breathed out. "No one."
"Derek, I can't hold you anymore." Kristie felt him start to slip. "I'm losing you." And Derek fell to the floor. "Derek." Kristie knelt beside him. "Come on. Stay with me." She hit the floor. "If you leave me I will never forgive you."
Kristie sat there for a second, contemplating what to do. "Well you better forgive me." She looked down and saw Derek's eyes open.
"Hi." She said, the tears starting to come. She gently cupped his face, kissing him. He tried to bend to deepen it, but he groaned, lying back down on the ground. "I need to get you in the bed so I can take a better look at the wounds." Derek nodded and braced himself as Kristie used the last bit of her strength to pick Derek up and move him to the bed. She laid him down with a grunt.
"Are you okay?" Derek asked.
"Yeah, but let's just worry about you right now." Kristie took in a deep breath and slowly rolled up Derek's shirt and gasped at what she saw. "Oh, my God." There were three deep gashes, that tore through his torso, bleeding dark black blood.
"How bad?" Derek breathlessly asked, laying his head on the bed.
"To be honest, the "oh, my God" would be for your unbelievable physique if it weren't for the fact that you're seriously hurt right now." Kristie looked up at Derek just as his eyes began to close. "Derek..." His eyes shut. "Derek, please don't die." He didn't respond. "Derek!"
Kristie put her ear to Derek's chest, expecting not to hear anything, but she was relieved to hear a steady heartbeat. Kristie breathed out a sigh of relief and laid there for a second, trying not to put her full weight on Derek's now fragile form.
It felt weird how Derek was the one who needed to be protected. Kristie sat up on the bed and started searching around the apartment for things she could use to clean up Derek's wound. She knew he didn't have much, if any, but she needed to find something that could speed up the healing process. She went upstairs to the bathroom and found a bottle of peroxide and a couple wash cloths. She also found a needle and some thread in a drawer. She couldn't believe it, but she was gonna try and stitch Derek up.
Kristie had stitched up many dogs and cats at the veterinarian clinic, but no one who was human. Granted, Derek was not a human, but it still freaked her out. She went back downstairs and wet one of the wash cloths. She ripped the rest of Derek's shirt off, putting the pieces in the trash. She began dabbing Derek's wound, cleaning it the best she could. Most of the bleeding had stopped, but the wounds were still fresh and pretty disgusting. She held her breath as she threaded the needle and made the first stitch in Derek's skin. Her hands shook as she made her way down the wound, making each stitch as best as she could, despite her shaking hand. It took her a while, but she stitched the three up, and tried to clean them as best as she could. She would periodically put her head to his chest, hearing his heartbeat, feeling the slow steady rise and fall of his chest as he breathed in and out.
Once she was done, she let out a sigh, and got off of the bed, going to the window. She crossed her arms and got out her phone. She scrolled through her contacts, contemplated whether or not to call Scott. Was it her place to do this? Would Scott believe her without proof? She sighed again, putting her phone away, just as she heard the bed move. She turned and saw Derek trying to get up.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" She asked. Derek let out a shaky breath, sitting back down.
"I have to find the others." He said. "They think I'm dead."
"Well, maybe that's a good thing."
"They need to know."
"Scott and the others aren't here. They're at a meet. And do you have any idea how bad you look? You're like one giant open wound. If the Alphas find you they'll rip you apart." Kristie kneeled in front of him.
"Time will fix me." Derek paused. "You shouldn't be here."
"Why's that?"
"Because, like you said, it's not safe. The Alphas being here, I'm too dangerous for you to be around me. You should leave."
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm your mate, and I'm staying with you. No matter what."
"Kristie, everyone around me...everyone gets hurt."
"I've been hurt before."
"Not like this. Not in this way. You being in my world is dangerous. Any minute you could be killed. I love you to much to let that happen."
The moment those words left Derek's lips, Kristie knew what she wanted. She never knew Derek was this scared about losing her. At that moment, despite all of their time together, Kristie knew how much Derek truly loved her. And it only took him almost dying for her to see it.
Kristie slowly rose from her position in front of him and gently kissed him. She seemed to be the only person kissing at first, until Derek kissed back, it becoming harder and more passionate. Derek cupped her face in his hands, and Kristie straddled her legs around his waist. He was gently, slowly stroking her face. He held onto her as she seemed to relax in his arms.
Derek was already shirtless so Kristie had no problem gently running her fingers over his abs and his arms, every muscle on his body. Why couldn't he always be shirtless? She began to run her fingers through his hair and they stopped, touching nose to nose, trying to catch their breath.
Derek slowly made them lay down on the bed; their lips began moving back in sync the whole time. She was about to take off her shirt, when Derek stopped her. "Are you sure?" he asked.
"I've never felt so sure in my life."
And with that, she threw off her shirt.
Derek laid Kristie underneath him, kissing all the way from her neck down to her navel. He took time, kissing what seemed like each part of her body. When he got down to her navel, he couldn't help but give her a little love bite. She let out something that was the mixture of a gasp and a moan. He reached to take off her pants, but looked up at her for approval. She responded by helping him pull her jeans off, leaving her in just her bra and underwear.
Derek couldn't help but stare at her. Her hair was a mess, and her lips were swollen from his kisses, but she was like a goddess. He couldn't help but stare at her. Kristie smiled at him, bringing his lips back down to her's. Kristie then made her way down to his jeans, unbuttoning them, helping him get them off. He moaned at being release from the tight denim.
An animal instinct began taking over, as Derek ripped off her underwear, and quickly unhooked her bra, leaving her in her naked glory in front of him. Kristie closed her eyes, about to protest (those were her favorite underwear), when she heard a familiar growl. She opened them and saw Derek's eyes glowing red, his fangs extending. "Hey." She said. Kristie sat her herself up. "Only look at me. It's just us."
She began kissing him again, and he responded. Kristie forced him underneath her so she could do the same thing he had done. She kissed all over his body, stopping at every muscle. He flipped her over again. That's when he pulled off his underwear, leaving the two together. Kristie wouldn't have liked her first time any other way.
Kristie opened her eyes once she felt Derek leave her side. She wrapped the sheets around her body and sat up, pushing her now tangled hair out of her face. Derek was sitting on the edge of the bed. She crawled over to him and wrapped her arms around him. She heard him chuckle and kiss her arm. "Come back to bed." Kristie said. "If you want we can do it again….and again….and again." She said, quieting to a whisper, as she kissed his ear and neck, each time she paused.
"So I take it you don't have any regrets?" Derek said.
"Regrets?" Kristie asked, raising an eyebrow. She got off the bed and stood in front of Derek. "This was the most amazing night of my life. It started out with me being worried you could die, and then turned around from there." Kristie paused. "Do you have any regrets?"
"You think I have regrets?" Derek smiled. "You don't know how long I've waited to do that. Not for the physical part, but for my wolf. You don't know how long I've waited to be this close to you as a mate."
"Is that what you meant by the mating ceremony?"
"That's…..part of it." He was hesitant. "The other part is me turning you." Kristie nodded her head. "It won't be like with Scott or Isaac or even Boyd. It's supposed to be more loving, but it's also kind of dangerous. I'd have to let my wolf out. The bite would be on the back on your neck." He paused. "I just wanna make sure you are ready and willing to do this."
Kristie sat on Derek's lap, and moved her hair, exposing her neck. "I'm not just ready. I want this. I want to be Alpha female and your mate." Kristie turned exposing her neck and the triskele tattoo to Derek. She felt him let out a quivering breath, before it turned into a deep growl.
"Don't be afraid." Derek mumbled through his fangs. He grabbed Kristie and threw her around on to the bed. She let out a gasp as the wind was knocked out of her. Derek was on top of her, her back still to him. He wiped her around and her eyes grew wide. His eyes glowed a deep, bright red and his fangs were bared at her. He began to smell her, taking in her scent and the scent of their coupling. He left his own kisses on her and she remained as still as she could. He pulled her up and put his arms around her, but not in the loving way he had before, but in a possessive way.
He began kissing her up and down her arms and up to her face, then back down again, till he reached her neck. He forced her head into the crook of his neck. She took in his smell, trying not to tremble, as she felt his teeth graze her skin. She held her breath as he hungrily kissed her skin. This was not Derek. Derek was gentle and kind. This was the Alpha wolf taking over.
He kissed her one more time before he finally bit her. Kristie's breath hitched as he bit her, a burning sensation running from her back to her tattoo and through her shoulders. She bit her lip to keep from screaming, as the pain got worse.
Kristie awoke, alone in bed. She looked around the room, not seeing Derek at all. She slowly rose and felt the sheet slightly sticking to her. Removing them, she saw what had kept them there. It was dried blood.
She got up off the bed and went over to the only mirror in Derek's apartment. She turned her body slightly, examining the bite mark on her neck. She couldn't really see it due to the dried blood.
"You're hurt." She quickly turned and saw Derek standing there, his head lowered. Kristie walked over to him, but he quickly put his hands up. "No. I don't wanna hurt you again."
Kristie looked at him and raised his head up with her hand. She could see he had been crying. "I came out of my wolf form and saw you lying on the bed, past out, covered in blood. I thought I had killed you. I couldn't control myself. I was so upset about what he had done."
"Hey." Kristie said, stopping him. "I'm okay." She paused. "I'm actually more then okay." She made her face him. And that's when her eyes flashed gold. "I'm a werewolf now."
Kristie rubbed the foggy mirror with her hand. She turned her head to examine the bite, which was starting to heal. She smiled and Derek came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her, kissing the bite on her neck. "I quite enjoyed our shower together." He mumbled, smiling at her.
"Will the bite stay like this for a while?" she asked.
"It will eventually fade, but you're a werewolf now, and we've solidified our positions as mates." Kristie smiled as her eyes flashed gold as his flashed red. This was her new life, her life with Derek. But then she paused. "What's wrong?" He asked.
She turned around to face him. "What am I gonna tell Scott?"
I hope you guys enjoyed and the original Kristie/Derek stuff made up for the short previous chapter. And sorry if the sex scene wasn't…well… good you could say. I'm not very good at writing that kind of stuff. But I hoped you enjoyed. Review!
