Harry Potter:

Throught the Looking Glass

Chapter Six

The Chamber of the Ministry resounds with all the voices of the spectators. Harry has delivered the criminals to the court. The Minister speaks:

"Good job, Mr. Potter. I knew we made the right choice in you as the Auror." Then Harry spoke up:

"Today, we will get to the bottom of this crisis. To expidite the matter, I say everyone within the walls of this Chamber is compelled to tell the truth. Now, Minister, you may begin." A hush falls over the Chamber. The Minister's coarse voice speaks:

"Do you freely admit that your group did willfully try to undermine the Ministry of Magic?"

"We admit that we fought against the corruption of the Counsel under the control of Doloris Umbridge and the remaining Death Eaters." Ron replies. The hall reverberates with the voices of the spectators. Then, Harry speaks:

"Isn't it true that the Council has been taken over by the Death Eaters?"

"Yes, it is true." poured from the mouth of the Minister. "Lady Umbridge and ourselves have conspired to control the Ministry of Magic." He cannot stop the deluge of truth pouring from his mouth. "By controlling the Ministry, we felt we would achieve ultimate power." With those words, Umbridge flees with Harry hot on her heels. He follows her to her lair and catches her in the act of escaping. Upon seeing her, Harry froze her movement.

"What are you going to do now, kill me, Mr. Potter?" she says, a sneer crossing her thin, pink-stained lips. Harry shakes his head.

"No. I obey the laws of my oaths as an Auror." Harry responds, resolutely. Walking over to the wall covered in Umbridge's cutsey kitten dishes, Harry releases their souls. With an unsurmountable and unbridled rage and hatred, the spirits of the trapped Wizards and Witches engulfed Umbridge in a conflagration and burned her to a cinder within seconds. The light then opened up and all their souls floated away; departing to their much-deserved and long-awaited rest.

Harry appeared back at the Ministry where the Council had been taken into custody. Ron and the others had been freed.

"Thank you for your help, Harry. We all would have been doomed if not for you." says Ron. Harry replies, calmly:

"I am the Auror. My job is to bring the guilty to trial and see that justice is done. That is my pledge, and it is what I shall do." He smiles softly to his dear old friend. "How would you like to join me as an Auror, Ron? As long as people are greedy and lust for power, thre will be Dark Wizards. It will be an amazing adventure for the two of us." With tears in his eyes, Ron nods.

"Yes, Harry. I will join you."
