Short chapters ugh. I don't like them either.

Every day, I go through the photo albums of my childhood. They were always filled with pictures of my little brother. My little brother? He's studying abroad in Iceland. That's what everyone told me. Something's always off. My family and my boss, who I just met yesterday, all talk as if he's dead. I know Emil cannot be dead. He's the nation of Iceland, isn't he immortal?

Berwald and Mathias seem to be getting along...by that, I mean they don't beat the crap out of each other. I think they still dislike the other's presence, but too bad for them. They have to see each other everyday.

Today, Mathias was talking about meeting new people in Norway. He was also talking about how pretty the girls were. I couldn't help but kick him out of the house for a minute. He knows I hate the topic about love and stuff. That stuff makes you weak.

My cousin stared at the Dane pounding on the door.

"Let me back in, Lukie!" He whined, pounding on the door with his fists. I stay seated in the white couch as I read the book Mathias gave to me while sipping coffee.

"Should we let him in?" Ber asks, talking about Mathias but staring at this random passerby. Wait, that's not random. I open the door and push Mathias out of the way, waving to the figure on the other side of the street.

"Hey Fin, come over here for a second. I need you to clarify something for me." Tino walks over quickly, with a bounce in his step, but he stops once he sees Berwald's creepy glare face.

Mathias had his arms crossed, sitting on the floor, pouting. I pull my friend inside and close the door on Mathias.

"S-so what do you want me to clarify?" Tino asked, smiling but shaking a bit from Berwald's intense gaze. I sigh and kick Berwald out of the house for a moment.

Mathias and Berwald both sat outside.

"You like Lukas?" Berwald asked, casually.

Mathias nodded. "You like the new guy?"

Berwald nodded and glared at the door.

"How long are we going to stay out here?"

"For a while, knowing it's Lukas..."

"What is, 'for a while'?"

"Maybe thirty minutes..."

"...LUKIEEEEE!"
