Enjoy you damn crooks!

I rolled my eyes for what felt like the hundredth time. After Luffy sent Buggy flying all four of us set out towards the sea.

"There's absolutely no way we'll make it to the grand line in this condition." Nami said.

"Ehhh?" Zoro and Luffy said.

"She's right it's just not possible." I said evenly.

"I suppose you two are right. We'll need a whole lot more meat, eating fruit every day is for the birds." Luffy said eating an apple.

My eye twitched. "That wasn't what she was talking about…"

"We'll also need some booze." Zoro said with a closed eye smile and I threw an apple at his face.

"You're not helping." I snapped even as he seemed to murder me with his eyes.

"You bone heads that's not what I mean! The Grand line is a dangerous place we'll need more than beer and meat to survive there. Not to mention the place is crawling with pirates that are also in search for the one piece. And they all have ships that are way better than this." Nami said.

"And we don't have a crew." Luffy said.

"We don't have a crew, we don't have any equipment, or even a real ship for that matter." I mused.

"There is no way we'll ever make it like this." Nami stressed.

"Yep, we'll need a cook and maybe a musician to keep us entertained." Luffy said with a smile and my eyes brightened.

"A musician…" I said thoughtfully before nodding breaking out laughing. "Yeah…your right, what's a pirate crew without a musician?"

"Kimiko, don't catch their stupid it's contagious!" Nami said grabbing me by the shoulders and shaking me. "A little to the south of here is an island with some settlements on it, and it looks like we might be able to get our ship and some supplies we need there."

"Fresh meat at last!" Luffy cheered.

"Lots of boozes as well." Zoro said with a nod of his head.

I shook my head and laughed while Nami growled at the guys. "Is that all you think about? What am I going to do with you two?"

I yawned stretching my back once we pulled ashore.

"Feels good to be on dry land again." I said after letting my toes wiggle in the sand after I had taken off my shoes.

"There's an island around here right?" Luffy asked excitedly.

"Yeah. It looks like a small one though." Nami said with sigh.

"Oh then there's meat. There has to be meat! There has to be a place to eat meat in this village." Luffy said determination on his features.

"Just forget about meat for a minute would you." Nami snapped at Luffy only for him to ignore her.

I turned my eyes towards the trees surrounding us when I heard shifting. I narrowed my eyes. Zoro noticed too and he unsheathed his sword. "Careful, were being watched."

"Huh? By who? Where are they? They got meat?" Luffy asked and I rolled my eyes. Was food always on his brain?

"Look out." I shouted to Luffy as what looked like marbles where shot at his feet before a bunch of flags shot up in the air surrounding us.

"That's so cool" Luffy cheered.

"Is this supposed to be impressive?" Nami whispered to me and I shook my head.

A guy appeared o the ledge laughing. "I am Ussaop leader of the invisible nation of pirates who rain of this island. You stand before a living legend. The most revered pirate who ever lived. I am the great captain Ussaop."

"Surely you know-" I tuned out the long nosed man's speech scouting the forest instead…there was no way he had as many people as he said he did. He was nothing more than a fast talking liar.

I sighed after finishing my assessment glaring at the guy as Luffy was becoming too impressed with him. "Do you honesty expect us to believe that?"

The man flinched back like I slapped him. "She knows."

"Well we do now." Nami said with a laugh.

"Crap how could I have been so dumb? I told her I was lying…I'm such an idiot." The guy cried.

"What? He was lying." Luffy gasped shocked.

"Yes Luffy sweetie...he was lying." I said with a blank face.

"Curse you, you crafty tactician!" He yelled at me. "80 million may have been an exaggeration but I have a great many men under my control."

My eyes twitched when six flags moved. My glare harden, his lying was seriously getting on my nerves.

"Really because I'd say you only have three." I said chillingly. Three little boy cried out before dropping the flags and running away.

"Hey where are you guys going! Come back!" The long nose cried.

"A pirate using a slingshot huh?" Nami said as she picked up a marble to show it to me. I shrugged not impressed. "Well now I've seen it all."

Luffy laughed amused by it all. "That's pretty cool."

"Shut your mouth or I'll shut it for you. I'm a proud man and I won't stand for it." He said before pulling out his slingshot and aiming for Luffy. "This is your last warning or you'll see why they call me proud Ussaop and not pushover Ussaop."

Luffy had stopped laughing when he pulled out his weapon. Luffy grabbed his straw hat, shading his eyes.

"Is that clear. You already seen how good I am with this thing, so you know I can rival anyone carrying a pistol." The guy growled glaring down on us.

I glared at him daring him to shoot, it would be the last shot he would ever make.

"Now that you've drawn your pistol…are you willing to use it?" The guy's mouth opened at Luffy's darkened voice. "Guns aren't for threats, they're for actions. Are you willing to risk your life?"

Zoro and I shared a look before smirking and turning towards the long nose, I chuckled my eyes flashing while Zoro unsheathed his sword impending danger, death and destruction practically oozing from our very pores.

"I can assure you we are real pirates." Zoro said darkly.

"And we are not opposed to murdering anyone that attacks us. Consider your next move very carefully." I said flashing him a smirk that rivaled a great whites.

He cracked dropping his weapon after a stare down. "Real pirate's definitely have a lot more punch behind their words because they can actually back it up… That's so cool…"

We shared a look to Luffy to see him smile, I relaxed flashing a smile as Zoro and Luffy laughed.

"I stole that." Luffy said finally.

"Huh?" Ussaop said confused.

"I stole those words from red haired shanks. A pirate I know." Luffy said.

"What you know red haired Shanks? You really are a real pirate. Wait you've got to be lying, you really know him?" Ussaop said looking at us. I raised an eyebrow towards Luffy, I doubt he would lie…Luffy didn't seem the type.

"Yeah, I know you're dad too his name is Yassop right?" Luffy asked him.

The guy smiled before falling from his perch. "You're right my old man's name is Yassop. But how do you know him?"

Ussaop brought us to a little pub where we could eat drink and relax as Luffy told Ussaop the story of his father.

"Bet you I can finish my gallon faster than you?" I taunted Zoro making him scowl.

"What?! You're on!" He yelled before we both picked up or mugs and started chugging alcohol.

I wiped my mouth with a smirk after slamming my mug down "Ha! Ha! I win!"

"Well excuse me for not being able to unhinge my jaw like a snake!" Zoro growled.

"Zoro don't be such a sore loser." I snickered throwing my arm over his shoulder and poking his cheek with my other hand.

"You guys are such savages." Nami groaned before shooting me a disapproving look.

"What?" I asked wide eyed.

"You're supposed be a lady of high standing, set a good example." She whispered.

I pouted regrettably having flashbacks of my beloved brother sneering the same words to me but less nicer… "You're so mean to me sometimes Nami…"

I looked up before I looked around noticing the lack of the long nose. "Hey, where'd Ussaop go?"

"You weren't paying attention when he ran off? He left in such a hurry…" Nami said after shooting me another look.

"Oh really? No." I said with a shrug.

Nami shook her head as I picked up a giant glass of rum before snatching it out of my hands.

"Whaat?!" I said in shock even as Zoro snickered at me.

"No more rum for you." Nami said.

"What? Why? Why is all the rum gone…" I whined.

All of a sudden there was a small commotion. I heard the shouts of small children. "The Ussaop pirates have arrived!"

"Fess up you bloody pirates what have you done with our captain! Tell us now!" a young boy demanded making me raise my eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, tell us now!" His two companions shouted.

"Ah that meat sure was good." Luffy said rubbing his belly. The kids looked scared out of their mind as they stared at Luffy's protruding belly.

"What meat?" One of the boys whimpered in fear.

"These pirates are cannibals…" The other sounded like he was about to cry, Nami laughed at the silly fear while Zoro and I shared a look before smirking evilly.

"What have you done you savages!" The braver one spoke although his voice trembled.

"If you're looking for your captain…" I said with hooded covered eyes and a fanged smirk and I picked up my fork and licked it.

"We ate him." Zoro said his own smirk resembling a shark.

Their eyes widened as they screamed looking surprisingly and Nami alone. "Cannibals!"

"What are you punks looking at me for!" She yelled back.

Luffy, Zoro and I broke out into laughter while Nami glared at us as the three boys hit the floor.

"You just had to say something stupid didn't you." She scolded us as we continued to laugh. The young children finally learning that we didn't kill their friend lead us to where Ussaop had disappeared to.

The kids told us the story of the rich but sick girl named Kaya and how Ussaop came to lie to her to make her feel better. I gave a small smile. Even though I didn't like the idea of lying I supposed that story telling was all that bad. I zoned back into to see Luffy hanging from the bars. I reached out to pull him off like everyone else only to be shot into the air.

The kids landed in a tree brush and Nami landed in the grass. Zoro and Luffy didn't have such good luck as they landed into the concrete floor. Zoro felt even worse than Luffy because I landed on top of him.

"Thanks for the save." I said as I sat on Zoro's back.

"You're welcome now can you please get off of me." He groaned his face still in the dirt. I laughed but stood up.

We watched as Luffy proceeded to ask Kaya for a ship only to be interrupted by her butler.

Her butler was a rude bastard. He silenced his own mistress called us Rif-raft, insulted Ussaop and his father and then even went further to disobey his own mistress and if that wasn't enough he took it a step further and accused Ussaop of trying to steal Kaya's money.

I glared taking a step towards him. He was not a worthy butler at all.

"Jerk face!" I felt myself yelling along with Ussaop's three followers. Zoro hit Luffy while Nami hit me. I glared at her. "Why?"

"Because this has nothing to do with us." Nami hissed.

"But he is an unworthy butler; I bet there's not even a loyal bone in his body." I growled pointing at the man in all black.

I felt the back of my shirt being grabbed and fought against it. I knew exactly who it was. "Oi release me moss head so I can retrain that black butler."

"No." he said evenly and I pouted turning away from him as he dragged me and Luffy off the property mumbling under his breath.

I sat on the grass leaning back against some wooden rails soaking up the sun.

"Hey where did Luffy go?" Nami asked from above me.

"Who knows?" Zoro muttered.

"He no doubt went after Ussaop." I said softly opening my eyes to look at the sky.

"I bet he's at his secret spot." I looked over at the two boys that sat with us before closing my eyes.

"Yeah over by the shore, he always goes there when he needs some time alone." The other boy said with a nod of his head.

"Should we go and see?" I opened one of my eyes to see two of the three kids staring at me.

"Na, he's fine." I said.

"Luffy can take care of himself, but where's your other friend?" Nami asked.

"Oh yeah, we forgot Onion." They said simultaneously.

"Terrible news guys some nut job is on his way here and he only walks backward." Onion shouted out of breath from running.

"You liar!" Both of his friend said making me chuckle.

"It's the truth! Look!" Onion cried. We watched as an oddly dressed man who was in fact walking backwards made his way towards us.

"Now which one of you people have the nerve to call me weird? I'm just a normal guy." The man said stopping in front of us.

"Is that so? You look insane…" Nami said causing my lip to twitch in amusement.

"Don't be so silly I'm just an ordinary run of the mill hypnotist." The man said. I watched as the man showed the boys his act only ending up not only knocking out the boys but his self too.

I laughed clapping. "Well, I'm impressed."

"Who is this freaky weirdo?" Zoro muttered and I just laughed again.

After a moment I stood up looking towards where I assumed the ocean was.

"Our captains been gone for quite a while…" One of the boys muttered.

"Yeah Luffy too…" I said with a frown.

We watched as Ussaop came running towards us….only problem he was alone.

"Hold on I thought Luffy was with him." Zoro said with a frown.

"He was…" I said a frown on my own lips.

"Is Luffy still at the shore?" Nami asked Ussaop but Ussaop ran by without saying a word.

"I think it's about time you three show us to the shore." I said and the three children nodded.

When we got there we searched but couldn't find him. I watched as Nami walked towards the edge commenting on how slippery the rocks were.

"Nami get away from there least you're wishing for an early death…" I warned her.

"Right sorry." She was walking away but did a double take before screaming out Luffy's name.

We rushed to her side peering below to see Luffy body. We found a safe way down the shore and rushed towards our fallen captain.

I walked over picking up his straw hat. "Luffy you idiot what did you do?"

"How did this happen?" Nami asked in shock.

"He fell…" One of the boys said in shock with Nami.

"He's a goner…" Onion said sadly.

"So that's why our captain looked so upset…" The other boys said mournfully I believed his name was carrot?

"Wait a minute." I frowned walking closer to Luffy, I thought I heard snoring. I scoffed reeling back when I confirmed he was in fact snoring. "He's not dead the idiot's just sleeping, Zoro..."

"Lazy bum." Zoro said with a smirk before hitting Luffy with the top his sheaths.

Luffy's head popped out of the ground, he yawned. "Good morning guys."

I gave Luffy back his hat as he explained that Kaya's butler was really a pirate at that they were going to attack at dawn and were also planning on killing Kaya.

I watched along with Luffy and the others as Ussaop came back. I watched shocked as he told his young companions that he had made up the story about the butler being a pirate although, I saw right through him. I wasn't the only one.

I helped Ussaop clean his gun shot graze before ripping a piece of fabric from my shirt and tying around his arm. When I finished I smiled and stepped back from him.

"Thank you, Kimiko." Ussaop said a blush staining his cheeks.

"So why did you lie to them?" Luffy asked.

"Because all I do is lie. They were never going to believe what I said. Why should they?" Ussaop asked.

"Because what you were telling them was the honest truth." Zoro said with a blank expression on his face.

"They are coming and they're going to level this whole town." Nami said fearfully.

"Yeah, but what am I supposed to do? They'll think I'm lying if I try to warn them. Everyone in the village thinks that tomorrow is going to be another normal day." Ussaop said frustrated.

I watched him; I was waiting for him to just ask us for help.

"They think I'm lying and that's all they need to think. I'm going to stop those pirates at the beach tomorrow myself. This is all my fault for being such a liar. I don't care anymore if they drag me away with brooms or shoot me in the arm. This is my village, it's my home and I love everyone in it. I have to protect them." Ussaop said with tears in his eyes.

"You're a hell of a good guy sending your cronies away and going into battle alone." Zoro said with a smirk.

"Just so you know I have dibs on the pirate treasure, you got it?" Nami said seriously.

"So you wanna little help or what?" I asked him staring into his eyes.

Ussaop looked at us with tears in his eyes. "You guys…you're going to help me fight all these pirates? I don't get it…"

"Well you said there's a whole bunch of bad guys right?" Luffy said as if that explained everything.

"And you look scared out of your mind." Zoro and I said at the same time.

"For your information I have nerves of steel. After all you're looking at the brave caption Ussaop warrior of the high seas." Ussaop said boldly as his body gave way to his fear.

I raised an eyebrow at his very blatant lie. I supposed he just couldn't help his self.

"Damnit alright I'm scared why shouldn't I be? They're captain Kuro's men, these guys mean business! I don't need pity! If you guys are sticking around because you pity me leave, I don't need you laughing at me!" Ussaop shouted.

"That's quite enough." I said sharply gaining his attention. "We are not laughing at you, were helping you because you are honorable."

"You really think we'd waste our lives out of pity?" Luffy asked seriously.

His eyes filled with tears upon seeing all of our serious faces. "You guys…"

Ussaop led us to a narrow passage way and informed up of his plan before we brought it into action.

"I feel like this is kinda taking the easy way out…" I said as I watched the guys pour oil down the slope.

"You can't go killing everything Kimiko." Nami sighed.

"I just feel like we not covering all our bases…" I said with a frown.

Day break came and there was no sign of the pirates.

"Well…Where are they?" I watched as Nami frowned tilting her head to the side. "What is it?"

"I thought I heard the sound of battle cries." She listened harder and her eyes widened. "Yes, they're definitely battle cries."

"No…it can't be…" Ussaop said suddenly.

"What can't be?" I asked but having a feeling I already knew the answer.

"There's a shore just like this to the north….they went…." Ussaop said trailing off in fear.

"We're at the wrong shore!" Luffy snapped.

"Damnit, I knew we weren't covering our bases…" I growled out.

"Well this is where they had their secret meeting so I just assumed ok." Ussaop said panicked.

"We need to hurry before they make it to the village. Where is it?" Luffy demanded.

"You have to head directly to the north of here, if you run you can make it in three minutes." Ussaop said. "The terrain as almost the same so all we need to do is stop them at the slope."

"Don't you worry we're going to stop them!" Luffy said to him.

"Oh no!" Nami cried causing everyone to look at her.

"What?!" Luffy asked.

"If these pirates are on the north shore then they've already seen of boats. They'll take our treasure." Nami cried out now panicked.

"I'll be there in 20 seconds." Luffy said before taking off with a speed that started the sniper. Ussaop shook off the shock before following right behind him.

"My precious treasure…" Nami whimpered.

"We will get it back don't worry." I said to her trying to sooth her worries.

"Let's get out of here." Zoro said to us before leading the way.

I heard Nami squeal before I felt her grab the back of my shirt my eyes widened when we both began sliding. My hand shot out grabbing onto Zoro swords, to my horror he slid with us.

"Help, I'm going to fall." Nami said.

"Let go of us you moron!" Zoro glared back at Nami.

"Nami climb over me and then pull us up, quick." She did as she was told but before she could help pull us back up we slid down further.

"Sorry Zoro, Kimiko understands though…the treasures in danger." Nami said before taking off without a second glance.

"I swear that girl of yours is going to pay!" Zoro growled as I held him back by placing a hand on his shoulder.

"We can get her for leaving us here later; right now we need to figure out the fastest way to get up the slope. We need to get there as soon as possible." I said grimly.

"Yeah I know…" Zoro sighed.

"But you don't understand. Ussaop never told Luffy which way north was so he's probably lost, leaving both Nami and Ussaop against a horde of pirates. Remember Ussaop is honorable but he is also a coward and Nami is very much lacking in combat." I said stressing my point.

Zoro took a deep breath, to calm his nerves. "This just keeps getting worse and worse. But don't worry I'll figure it out."

I watched Zoro try to run up the oil only to fail….again. My eyes brightened when I got an idea. "Zoro."

"What?" He grimaced.

"Throw me."

"What?" He said looking at me like I grew two heads.

I walked over to him. "If you throw me I can at least go and help them out, both of us don't need to be stuck down here."

"I'm not throwing you, you idiot." Zoro growled in my face.

"Fine..."

"I have a better idea." He grabbed me throwing me on his back as he took out his swords. "Hold on."

I watched holding on as he used his swords to climb up the slope.

I jumped off Zoro's sweating back as soon as we reached the top of the slope and weren't in danger of slipping back down.

"Now how do we reach the north slope from here?" I mused out loud letting Zoro catch his breath.

We picked a random direction and hoped for the best. We had the best of luck considering we arrived at the right place just in time to stop the Kuro pirates from hurting Nami and Ussaop and entering the village.

Zoro, Luffy and I arrived quickly knocking the pirates back several feet. I had my hands on my knees and was breathing heavy before I stood up shooting Nami a nasty glare when I heard her mutter it was about time.

"Is that the best those pirates can dish out?" Zoro asked.

"I hope not, considering what we had to go through to get here." I said my eyes glued to Nami's shrinking form.

"Yeah, I was hoping for a challenge." Luffy said.

Zoro turned towards Nami who was still shrinking from my gaze. "And you! After leaving us down there you should be lucky I'm not kicking your butt too!"

"Ussaop you big bone head you never told me which way was north!" Luffy snapped.

"Wow…you guys are really that strong…."Ussaop said staring at us in awe and Luffy nodded.

"Could you have been slower…What took you guys so long?" Nami asked.

"Nami…"I said darkly making her yelp. "Is that really all that you have to say to me?"

"Sorry Kimiko! I'm really sorry!" She said bowing her head.

The fight commenced. The creepy hypnotist guy hypnotized his own crew but also Luffy as well. Luffy took out the entire crew and also damaged their ship before being compelled to sleep also by the hands of the hypnotist.

Zoro charged into battle taking on two brothers called the meowban brothers, and when I went to help him he threated to beat me up.

I glared as another member of the cat clan snuck into the fight.

Faster than Zoro could see I slipped behind the bigger of the brothers and yanked the cape back of the pirate that tried to enter their threesome.

He choked falling backwards before getting up and glaring at me. "Who the hell do you think you are?"

I scoffed. "You're not even worth my name, you want to enter that fight you have to get pasted me."

"Damnit when I finish with him, I'm going to kill you." I heard Zoro hiss at me.

"Ignoring you, moss for brains." I said towards him while dodging the sword of the member.

I danced around my opponent ignoring the shrivel that was his life story that came from his mouth. He was calling himself the Hellcat when I saw from the corner of my eye Ussaop fire off two metals balls.

I moved my body in front of the ball before it could hit my opponent.

I hissed as I felt the Hellcat claws swipe my right shoulder.

"You dumbass don't help us." Zoro growled out.

I sent a sharp glare towards Ussaop. "Do you have a death wish or something?" Ussaop and Nami flinched back and I smirk before turning back towards my opponent dodging his swipe.

"You know, you're not a very soft kitty…" I said looking over his form. He was dressed in tacky red and black clothes with a black mask wrapped around his eyes.

He growled and took a swipe at my face. "Of course not foolish girl I am the Hellcat, not a kitten!"

I narrowed my eyes grabbing his clawed hands and holding them above his head. As I leaned forward getting a better look at his face, his back cracked from the pressure. "You're not a very cute or nice kitty either."

"You dare mock me you damn brat!" He hissed baring his fangs taking another swipe at me, this time catching my shoulder. I hissed my eyes narrowing at him when he smirked victoriously. "Give up now girl."

I smirked. "A little scratch like that isn't going to stop me playing."

We continued our dance…at least until I heard Nami cry out. I stiffened, time for me seemed to slow as I saw that hypnotist freak take a slice at Nami.

"Eyes on me!" Hellcat yelled taking another swipe at me but I dodged him.

I paused when the Hellcat basically shrieked at something behind me. I looked back noticing that Zoro's fight had stopped as well. My eyes narrowed with distain as that damned black butler stood at the top of the hill.

"No, I'm sorry…I can explain all of this…" The hypnotist freak said cowering in fear.

"The night has long since pasted. So why is it that you have seemed to make no progress on the plan? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! To think that theses brats have held you back…how the black cats have fallen. What have you got to say for yourself, JANGO!" The butler aka Kuro yelled pissed off.

"But uh…well…I….you said…uh sorry sir but you said letting the kid go wouldn't cause any problems…" Jango said.

"I did say that, what's your point? He's an idiot, I knew no one would listen to his warnings and he would come stumbling back to take a stand against us. But the one thing I hadn't taken account for was your inexcusable weakness." Kuro said with a sneer.

"Sir, were not weak. It's just that…." Jango trailed off.

"Who are you to call us weak?" Sham and Buchi snarled glaring at their captain.

"Watch what you say captain Kuro…" Hellcat hissed also glaring at his captain.

"Hmm…" I mused sharing a look with Zoro.

"You used to be quite the killer, but face it Kuro it's been three years and we haven't exactly been living the good life waiting on a rich girl hand and foot." Hellcat sneered and Buchi nodded.

"Yeah that's right for three long years we've been out sinking pirate ships and massacring villages." Sham added.

Kuro looked unimpressed. "Very good…finished?"

"No, you've done nothing this whole time!" Hellcat snarled seemingly enraged.

"We've been killing!" Sham added.

"You butler! There's no way you can defeat us!" Buchi shout all three having a crazed look in their eyes.

I watched mildly amused as the three of them launched an attack of the black butler. I walked up leaning on Zoro as I watched Kuro disappear as the three went in for the kill only to appear behind them.

"What? He's behind them, how? And what are those crazy weapons." Zoro said more so to his self but I chuckled and gave an answer.

"Well a captain of cats has to have his own set of claws…right?"

"You know you're right…I do feel a bit sluggish after all these years…" Kuro said his claws digging into the three as they all had tears streaming down their faces.

"You're very lucky; I'm feeling somewhat merciful, maybe these years on dry land have made me soft. I'll give you five minutes. If you can't deal with the situation here in five minutes…then I'll kill every last one of you. Now have I made myself clear?" Kuro said seriously.

"Oh yes, of course that's perfectly clear, thank you for being so forgiving sir. All we have to do is take care on this one guy and this little girl. That's all. Five minutes will be more than enough." Jango said.

Zero and I shared a look before getting into a battle stance as our opponents raced towards us.

"Zoro!" Nami yelled and I didn't need to glance back to know what she had done, the shadow of Zoro's swords flew over my head.

"Hey you can't just kick them, they're my swords…" Zoro grimaced.

"How about a thanks." Nami growled.

"Yeah thanks, I appreciate it." He said catching them from midair and preparing to fight.

My eyes glowed and I laughed as hateful words flew from the Hellcat's mouth as my arms melted into a giant water hammer. I swung my arms when he launched himself at me hitting him in the face and sending him face first into the side of the mountain…his body slowly slid down leaving an unhealthy trail of blood. He did not get up again.

I looked over to see Zoro had taken out his opponents too.

I yawned as Zoro chuckled holding his sword out to Kuro. "I can promise you that everything will be taken care of in less than five minutes."

I tched as Kuro laughed as he stared down Zoro. "Three…three minutes left."

"Man you do sloppy work sometimes moss for brains." I muttered as we watched Buchi got hypnotized to fight again.

"Shut up." he shouted "All that blubber must have protected him."

"Whatever I did my part now it's your turn." I huffed walking off and leaving him. I picked up Nami before throwing her towards Ussaop who cried upon her landing on him.

I gave them both a sharp glare silencing their complains as I made my way towards Luffy. None of the black cats stood in my way as I marched over towards the captain with a dark glare.

"Luffy you big jerk, everyone's busy fighting for their lives while your lazy ass is sleeping. Wake the hell up already" I shouted as I stepped on his face.

"KYAA!" I screamed when Luffy stood up pulling my leg from under me and holding me upside down.

Blushes could be seen on the black cat members one thought spreading through their minds. 'Her scream was pretty cute.'

"Kimiko you can not go around stepping on people's eye-" Luffy was cut off as a medal disc flew into his open mouth. Luffy dropped my leg sending me falling backwards.

"No…how is that twerp still alive?" Jango muttered to himself.

"It's either the worst timing of the best timing…I can't tell." I heard Zoro chuckle.

I watched as Luffy cracked the disc with his teeth, before yelling about the tiny cut he gained from it. Luffy huffed looking at me before shouting. "That hurt you jerk, why'd you do that!"

"Oi sleeping beauty, I didn't do that, so don't yell at me!" I snapped back. I let out a yawn before looking down at my wound with a frown, it was still bleeding.

"You ok, Kimiko? Did you get hurt? Let me see it." Luffy asked me.

"I'm fine." I said with a fake smile, standing to my feet although the blood dripping from my shirt said otherwise. "I need to go, patch up Nami up, she was wounded really bad…Ussaop too if he'll let me."

"Can I leave this fight to you, to patch up our crew mates?" I asked looking up at him. "We have to win, we can't afford to lose this fight, understand."

Luffy smiled at me and nodded. I gave another smile and bent down picking up his straw hat and handing it to him before we began walking towards the others.

The black cats parted like the red sea, clearing a path for us, Luffy's arm shoot out stopping me for going further when Jango initiated a fight.

One thing led to another and before I knew it Luffy was beating the crap out of captain Kuro, and I along with Zoro and Ussaop were searching for Kaya and the hypno freak that was trying to kill her…but only after I shouted for Luffy to kick his ass.

"You should have patched your wounds before tagging along." Zoro said to me as blood continued to stain my blouse.

I shook my head. "No time, I had to make sure Nami wounds were ok."

I looked on his shoulder where Ussaop lay wrapped in makeshift bandages before glancing at him. "And long nose and you as well. And if Luffy wasn't fighting I'd patch him up too."

Zoro scowled. "So everyone except yourself."

"No…I would just be the last person." I said as we continued to follow the sounds of destruction.

"Not to interrupt you two lovers-" Ussaop said to which Zoro and I yelled "WERE NOT LOVERS!"

"You need to go east…east" Ussaop continued after flinching from our death glares.

"Which way is east? Left or right?" Zoro asked.

"Right." Ussaop said.

"Eh?" I said "wait…but we just came from there…"

"Never mind that Kimiko come on!" Zoro said grabbing my arm and pulling me alongside him.

"No Miss Kaya run for your life!" We heard on of the children shout.

I stopped Zoro by grabbing his arm. "They are in the opposite direction."

"Over there!" Ussaop said.

My eyes widened when we saw them, the hypnotist had Kaya backed against a tree and had a weapon head up. "Crap!"

I speed towards the children catching all three of them when Jango kicked them, while Zoro cut down the branch clearing the way for Ussaop to fire at Jango in the face.

"Yey! We did it! Dream work makes the team work!" I cheered making Zoro roll his eyes at my energy.

"Idiot…" He muttered but even he had a small smile.

"But just to cover our bases…" I said my smile growing as a limbs faded to water and forming a giant mallet and bringing it down on Jango's face. My smile grew as I saw a ghost floated from Jango's mouth as I laughed cheerfully. "Just a little something for you to remember me by."

"K-Kimiko is really scary." Ussaop said shivering in fear as the children hid behind a petrified Kaya, Zoro released a shudder nodding.

I sighed as I finished cleaning Luffy's wounds before patching him up. "There. All finished."

"Thanks guys, I wouldn't have been able to protect the village without you." Ussaop said to us.

I tched as I patched myself up before looking over at Ussaop with a serious look. "Idiot, give credit where credit is due, if you would have sat back and done nothing, then so would I."

"Yeah." Zoro said.

"Same here." Luffy said with a smile.

"Who cares about any of that?" Nami said making me look at her with a smile as she clutched her bag of treasure. "I've got my hands on that sweet sweet treasure now and I couldn't be happier."

I laughed shaking my head at her antics as did Ussaop before he sobered up. "Everything that happened here today just helped me, I've come to a serious conclusion."

"Huh…"Luffy said and I looked up at Ussaop with a thoughtful gaze.

I sighed contently before voicing my thoughts as we all sat at the restaurant. "Now that we've eaten we should probably get going…"

"Yeah, your right." Luffy said still chewing on a bone.

"Here you are." The sound of Kaya's voice made us all turn to look her way.

"Hello there miss." Luffy said Nami smiled at her while Zoro and I nodded our heads in acknowledgment.

"Are you alright being out of bed?" Nami asked curiously.

"Yes. I think now I can really start recovering. You see my sickness this last year was caused by the mental shock of losing my parents and Ussaop's friendship helped me start getting better. I can't stay in bed forever you know?" Kaya said giving us a smile before her smile widened even more. "You've all done so much for me I can't thank you enough. I've prepared a present for you from the bottom of my heart to show you how grateful I am. I'd be honored if you will accept it."

My eyes glimmered as I saw our new ship and I blocked out everything Kaya and her butler were saying. It was sooo cute, it even had the head of a cute little ram.

"What a cool ship! Have you guys seen the front?!" Luffy said shout and me and Zoro as if we weren't even next to him.

"Yes! It's so cute" I gushed while Luffy said "It's totally awesome."

"We've loaded it with everything you might need on a long voyage." Mary Kaya real butler said to us with a smile.

"Thanks it leaves nothing to be tired." Luffy said with a nod.

My eyes twitched as I shook my head at Luffy. "You mean it leaves nothing to be desired idiot."

We turned when we heard noise and saw Ussaop rolling our way really fast.

"How do you stop this thing" He cried out and I frowned turning to look at the boys. "He's going to hit the ship if we don't stop him."

"Right." Luffy and Zoro said before lifting up their feet to Ussaop's face and stopping him.

"T-Thanks guys…" Ussaop sputtered.

"Anytime."

We watched Ussaop and Kaya from our new ship before he turned to us. "You guys take care; I hope we meet again sometime."

I tched at him while Nami frowned and Luffy stared at him blankly.

"How come?" Luffy asked him.

Ussaop frowned. "Well because I…are you anti-social or something? I'm taking off for life on the high seas and I'm hopping that we'll eventually meet again that's all."

"What are you talking about you long-nosed idiot." I scowled before pointing towards the ship. "Get on already."

"Huh?" Ussaop said shocked.

"Were friends right? So get on." Luffy said bluntly.

Ussaop stared at us his eyes shifting to each person. "This is it…I'm really a pirate captain now!"

"Don't be stupid, I'm the captain!" Luffy snapped at him as we all laughed before welcoming our newest member aboard before setting sail.
