It has been a little more than a year since Raven moved in with the De Noirs. She was assigned to work with Robin. Which worked out perfectly, Robin would try to show off for her and Raven had to prove that she was if not as good then better than boys. Robin's father has been watching them carefully. His plan was working just great. Robin barges into Raven's room to wake her up. "Morning birthday girl. Rise and shine!" He just steps inside her room and finds himself hanging upside down from the ceiling. Raven sits up half asleep. "Morning Robin." She stretches and smiles. "You really need to wear your boots when you come to wake me." Robin is wearing pajamas. Raven gets up and goes behind her changing curtain. She changes into black pants that are bellowed out from her hips. A blue shirt that has black strings on the front at the collar. Her favorite boots that Robin got her over a year ago. She steps out from behind it letting out her braid. "You fall for the same traps every day Robin. I think you need some training." He stares at her. Raven pushes some of her hair behind her ear. Calmly she walks over and takes his hat. She smiles at his hanging form and slowly walks out of the room backwards. Once she was a good distance away, she throws a knife cutting him lose. Turning she runs to go hide. Now most believe Raven to be so perfect. The perfect person, however they were wrong. Robin got the first hand view of her temper. Robin tries to stay on her good side. He untied his leg and gets up. He heads off to find Raven. He looks every where, all her usual hiding places. He looks and looks and its not until lunch that he gives up. He heads to the great hall. When he enters he hears singing.

"Down by the trees

Down by the trees

Came the pearls of white

Out of the seas.

Down by the trees

Down by the trees

Where the curse is left unbroken

Without any means

Down by the trees

Down by the trees

We need the beads

The white horse prances,

In moonlit beams.

Down by the trees

Down by the trees

A twisted path leads

To him, winning

By hurtful deeds.

Nobody knows.

Nobody sees.

The princess of the valley.

Down by the trees."

Robin looks up to the rafters to see Raven sitting on one. She's wearing his hat and staring out the window. He watches her. He some times finds her looking out the windows or off in the distance. Raven tells him every time he asks that she misses her pets. Robin knew better. She misses her family but she would never admit it. Raven climbs down when she sees Robin. "You're slow Robin. And I did your patrol." Raven smiles at him like nothing is wrong. Robin nods his head and takes his hat off her head. "I was a little busy looking for you." She smiles at him and grabs his hand pulling him to the food. While they were eating, Raven tries from laughing along with the others at the table. For you see Robin was still in his pjs.
