Well here it is the ending you all most requested hope you enjoy and the violence you crave. Oh and just in case this wasn't clear already.

I don'tLeft 4 Dead. Just my own cool characters.

3rd Person P.O.V.

By the time the sounds of infected could be heard the group was set for a battle. Alice hid in a closet while everyone took different positions. Sam stood facing the east with his rifle. Frank looked out the south end with both an auto shotgun and magnum. Jay was to the west with his now duel-wield pistols and machete. Finally Dawn stood facing the front door with her claws at the ready.

"If you need help call out. We can't get overrun everybody." Sam shouted as the rage fueled infected drew near.

The first one came from the east followed by three more. They didn't make it far. Then five from the south, four from the west, six from the north. Frank and Jay made each shot count, since ammo was precious and this was just the start, while Dawn ran out the cabin to meet her group with sharp claws.

More and more common infected came and with them some special infected too. With bullets meeting brains, blades were slicing through necks, and claws shredding skin like paper. The group finished off the last one before all reloading getting ready for the next wave when the ground started to shake and an ear full of screams come from seemingly everywhere.

"TAAAAAANK!" Jay shouted as a tank charged at the west side of the cabin. Jay jumped to the left just as the hulking beast came crashing though the wall. It wasn't even daze or stunned and soon tried to punch Jay but missed as he rolled back towards the others.

"Waste this bitch!" Frank said as all three unloaded every shot into the tank. The result was a very pissed of tank. It roared and rushed forward, grabbing Frank and Dawn and threw them outside then charged again. Frank got up and shot it once in the face. The range was enough to make each shot hit and piece the beast skull and with enough force to cause its head to explode, leaving its body to fall with a thud. "Yeah that's right bitch don't fuck with a shotgun." Frank exclaimed happily but it was short lived when he heard a cry for help.

Jay was caught by a smoker and Sam was snuck in a corner with a group of seven common surrounding him as he continued to shove them back.

"You help Sam! I'll get Jay!" Frank ordered the witch he so hated since he knew he couldn't save them both alone. As one cleaved her way to Sam, the other hit the smoker with the butt of his gun.

"Is everyone ok?" Sam asked and received nods. The group reloaded the guns once more when then heard a new sound.

The sound of two ton worth of metal flying to them. "They're here letting go Alice!" Jay called out and the little girl came from the closet that somehow survived the whole attack. The group ran outside to see the helicopter on the ground and six men in military cloths and armor around it. A bald man in a biker jacket came and met the group halfway.

"Nice to see the old man isn't going senile. I'm Francis and you lot look like shit." The biker then led them to the helicopter and got everyone in but Dawn. "You are a danger but Bill says you are different so you got to stay cuffed till we get there." Francis then pulled out some shackle like handcuffs and put them on Dawn's wrists behind her back. Then pulled out a ball gag and held it up to her mouth.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Jay shouted and snatched the gag away.

"Making sure this thing don't eat us or worse the pilot while we're in the air!"

"We been with her for days and she has attacked anyone!"

"Look kid it's either you gag it or you left it here!"

"She isn't a threat to anyone! Now you can handcuff if it makes you feel safe, even though Dawn can break them off at any moment, but you treat her like an animal" Before Francis could respond, the sound of more infected rushing towards the area was louder than the spinning blades of the copter. Francis gave a 'fine' as an okay and Jay boarded the helicopter with a handcuffed Dawn next to him. After all the men were on board, Francis gave the pilot the order to take off. As the chopper got twenty-feet in the air, the spot where it was not fourteen seconds ago was overrun with another horde. Hunters leapt at the copter but missed entirely.

"That was close another minute and we'd all be dead." One of the troops said while looking out the window.

"You said it. I just hope that the witch doesn't try anything. I've seen what one can do when its pissed off." The second solider physically shuddered at the memory. "Worse than my ex-wife." The rest of the men were silent for the remainder of the trip but kept the fingers on their triggers as they sat only 10 inches from a witch.

About 30 minutes later, the military base came in sight. What was once a Football stadium was now one of the few safe havens for humanity left. The helicopter touched down and the soldiers quickly exiting the bird and forming a wall for the survivors (the witch) to walk down each ready to fire if given the order. The group got out and stood there waiting for whatever to happen.

"Nice to see you all survived and got here in one piece." An old man in a WW2 vets uniform walked up to them. "I'm Bill, so which one of you is the guy I spoke with on the radio."

"That would be me sir." Jay walked and held out his hand which Bill shook. "Thanks again for saving us."

"No problem we try to save as many as we can. Now I'd like to see this witch you claim isn't a killing machine. The rest of you can follow Francis to go see the doc and get some food I know you must be starving." Francis motioned for them to follow him, leaving Jay and Dawn with Bill and his soldiers.

Jay stood next to Dawn as Bill eyed her up and down. Dawn looked to Jay worriedly, but Jay gave her a reassuring smile, silently telling her it will be alright. Once Bill was done he dismissed the troops and told the duo to follow him. As they walked Dawn held on to Jay's left arm, scared of all the looks that she got from the humans. Jay again reassured her by rubbing her hand and smiling.

Bill led them to a locker room that was transformed into a science lab. Sitting in at a desk was a mid-age woman with short black hair writing something down. "Dr. Keller I got someone for you to meet."

"For the last time Bill, I don't care how many time Francis saved your life I'm not interested in bad boy bikers." She replied without even looking up.

"No Doctor this is about the infection." That caused the woman to look up and have the blood drain from her face. "Relax Keller I checked them out and have reason to believe that this witch is not a threat."

The doctor got up and headed for Dawn, looking her over the same as Bill earlier. "Oh My God! How long has she been like this?" The sudden outburst caused Dawn to hide behind Jay. Dr. Keller rushed over to a table with test tubes and chemicals to retrieve an empty syringe. "I need a blood sample hold her still please." Before she knew Dawn felt the needle pierce her skin causing her to cry out, but she restrained herself from lashing out. "I'll have to analyze this sample but maybe I can cure or at least reverse the infection. Young man you may have just saved the world."

"I'll leave you to your work doc." Keller was already working on the blood sample and paid no attention to anything else. "As for you two the witch will stay in one of the cages outside and Jay we got a tent for you."

"Why can't she stay with me? I can promise she won't attack anyone unless they attack her."

"Sorry kid I can't risk it. Till Keller can work a miracle your witch is a danger to everyone in the camp."

"Then I'll stay with her, that way you'll see she isn't a monster!" Jay gave Bill a challenging glare and after seeing that he was serious Bill sighed in defeat.

"Okay I'll move you cot to her cage and I hope you know your betting your life on the hope that this witch won't kill you kid."

"No." Jay looked over his shoulder at Dawn, whom looked worried, then turned back to Bill. "I'm betting that my friend won't kill me." Bill shook his head and took the two outside to the cages. There were six large shipping containers and the first five of them both bloody and empty. "Why are all of them like this?" Jay asked as they walked to the last container.

"Those were housed infected that the doc used to test different ways to cure the infection. None of them worked." Bill stood in front of the last container and, unlike the others, it wasn't stained with blood or claw marks but more than enough room for two people."This is it. I'll bring some food and water along with your cot."

Dawn walked in first to look around. "Thanks Bill." Jay was about to walk next to Dawn when Bill grabbed his arm.

"Are you sure you want to do this kid. I don't know what you been through or what that one means to you, but I lost someone that I was in a group with to a witch because she thought it was another survivor. I just don't want you to make the same mistake she did." Jay let Bills words wash over him and looked at Dawn, who looked at him, not with rage filled red eyes, but with calm blue eyes.

"Yes I'm sure Bill. I'm sorry for your friend but I know Dawn isn't like going to kill because I gave her the chance to do it when we first met and here I stand alive and well." With nothing more to say Bill let go of Jay, closed the door and left to get food, water, and a bed and hopeful he wouldn't have to make a grave tonight.

One Month Later

"Okay if my calculations are right then this will either cure or fight the infection." Dr. Keller said as she injected Dawn with what they hoped was a cure. Jay sat next to Dawn holding her hand while Bill and four soldiers stood back and waited. "It should act immediately so cross your fingers everyone." Dr. Keller stood back at a 'safe distance' with the soldiers while Jay sat in front of Dawn

Dawn started wincing in slight pain then shaking. Jay grabbed her arms to hold her steady but left go when she doubled over and coughed up some dark liquid while both hands held onto her head. This lasted for seven minutes until she stopped and looked up at Jay. She put a hand on his left cheek than his right. The soldiers and Bill readied their guns if the witch turned hostile and attacked. Jay's heart raced in his chest so loud it could be heard over the lasting silence. As he opened his mouth to speak his words were lost in Dawn's mouth as she kissed him.

The action stunned Jay but before he could return it Dawn pulled away and shocked everyone trice in only a few seconds. "J-j-j-j-j Ja-a-a Jayyyyyy Jay." For the first time since they met in that room on that fateful day Dawn spoke.

"D-Dawn did you just say my name?"

Instead of the usual nod Dawn said. "Jay." Her voice was horse from so long without use but that didn't matter to Jay who hugged Dawn tightly.

"Oh my god Dawn to you know what this means!? You are going to be human again. "Jay pulled back from the hug long enough to kiss Dawn on the lips. This kiss held joy, relief, and hope. But more than anything it held passion and love. No one said anything as the two continued to embrace one another.

Three Years Later

Dawn's P.O.V.

I was sitting on a bench in the park watching the kids run and play. It's hard to believe that three years ago none of this would be happening now. After Dr. Keller got more of the cure made the government used it to wipeout the infection. In only 9 months everyone on the planet was cured and turned back to normal. After that we all joined together to rebuild the areas that were destroyed. There's still work let to be done but some places like Paris, Brazil, Japan, Turkey, Jordon, Mexico, and the US are almost back to the way they were.

As for those like me who we infected. We have learned or relearned everything that we once lost. Nobody was blamed for anything they did while infected that doesn't stop most from feeling guilty.

As for me I was now 22 years old. My skin returned to its original cream color and my hair went from snow white to ruby blonde. Thankfully my claws were back to being nails.

I was wearing a floral sundress while waiting for the one person who never gave up on me or saw me as a monster. The same person that I protected and who protected me. The same person who I feel in love to show up.

"Hey Dawn sorry I'm late. I had to stay a little longer because the boss wanted to finish building the bridge before we left but I got overtime for it." Jay sat down next to me and kissed me softly and briefly.

"It's okay I was just watching the kids." I took his hand and put it on my stomach which was starting to show how big I was going to get. "Just wondering what our baby will be like."

"Well since it's you and me I know he or she will be strong, kind, handsome or beautiful, smart, and loved." I smile at the words that Jay says with absolute certainty and sureness. I lean on his shoulder and into his arms as they wrap around my belly that's carrying our child. I turn slightly and kiss him again.

"I love you Jay."

"I love you too Dawn."

The End

Whew finally done and boy what an ending. If you couldn't tell this was the lovely ending. Also thanks for everyone who reviewed, followed, and liked this story. I would have kept typing it till I finished but you guys and gals made me now I wasn't wasting my time and that hopefully I'm not a bad author. Now I got some other story ideas I'm working like Portal, Minecraft, and Smash Bros. And once I've got the plot and characters in order I'll upload them till then please be patient. Finally for anyone who was wondering why it took so long to finish this. It's because I just adopted a German Shepherd puppy (named Amaterasu or Ammy for short) and she is distracting me with her cuteness so again sorry.

See ya until next time.
