Groaning Gwins wakes up in Damon's bed. Her sore body protesting as she stands. Memories of last night flood her mind, accompanied with confusion.

What the hell happened, Gwen thinks as she heads downstairs. Freezing in the salvatore parlor. Eyes landing on Damon chained to a chair. A fire poker shoved into his stomach. Her gaze shifts to the figure standing before Damon. A unpleasant chill washes over her. As Mason lockwood winxs and waves at her. Vanishing before she can fully think.

Gwen is shaken out of her shock by Damon's voice, "Could use a little help over here."

Rushing over to him, Gwen takes in his bloody beaten body. Pulling out the fire poke while asking, "What happened?"

"Had a unpleasant visit from the grave," Damon answers while she releases the chains, "Correct me of I'm wrong, but isn't that something you are meant to deal with not me."

"technology yes, but this necklace is supposed to stop me from any ghost visiting me or me seeing them," Gwen reminds him as he stands, "I saw Mason and he saw me. Plus if he can interact with you and you see him…...something is wrong."

Her eyes roam around the room. Unease settling into her bones. Damon grabs Gwen's face forcing her eyes back to him. Watching as his scan over her.

Asking Gwen, "Are you okay?"

Gwen Huffs, "I wasn't the one with a fire poker in their stomach….are you okay?"

"I heal and you were the one spitting out blood before passing out, and sleeping all morning," Damon reminds her.

Before Gwen can retort someone pounds franctly on the front door. Damon answers it revealing a furious Natasha. Who scowling marches straight to Gwen.

"You are going to fix your mess right now," Natasha demands.

Taken back Gwen questions her, "Wh..what mess? I didn't do anything."

"You tore a hole in the barrier separating dead from living in this town," Natasha sighs, "Now tell me exactly what you did."

"Hey," Damon speaks up, "She didn't do anything. So you can just leave."

Eyes switching between both of them, Natasha asks, "What did happen last night?"

Gwen responds, "I started coughing up blood then felt this intense pain all over my body. I thought it was gonna tear me apart."

After a second Natasha eyes drop to Gwen's hand asking, " When did you take your Sapphire ring off?"

"Months ago," Gwen shrugs, "Why?"

While Damon adds, "If you know something please share."

After a second Natasha informs Gwen, "You are dying," Gwen sits down I shock as she continues, "There must always be balance, vampires a stake, even the originals have a way to be stopped. The minute you put that ring on it cursed you."

"There has to be away to remove it," Damon demands.

Natasha shakes her head, "These rings have been around for years before us. Many many people have tried and failed to find a way to remove it. The spell was a compacted piece of blood magic. Forcing time to ignore the wearers body and guarding them against sickness and diseases. By absorbing any and storing them within the rings," her eyes go back to Gwen, "When you take it off all that is sent back into you. The longer you wear it, the worse it is and faster. That is why almost no one ever use them anymore."

Did Michael know? When handing it to me he gave me a death sentence. While promising I can get my family back. Would that make all his words a lie? Afterall I'm starting to think everyone knows more then me, but why? Why would he lie to me and keep secrets. Was he hiding something important from me?

She is snapped out of thoughts by Natasha's next words, "You got between two and three months at most, if luck is on your side, I'm sorry," she sighs eyes full of sympathy, "I will be back after getting supplies and together we will close the hole you made. After that best to not use your power much and enjoy what time you got left."

Natasha leaves them without another word. Gwen sits a million thoughts in her head. Attention focused on Damon as he crouches before her. Forehead resting on hers determination shining in his eyes.

Voice full of conviction Damon speaks, "I don't care what miss attitude says. We will find a solution," Gwen gives a small smile of hope, "How about some fresh air, maybe get some food."

Nodding despite her lack of appetite. Gwen follows Damon to his car. Both are silent as he drives to Mystic Grill. Sitting at the bar Gwen silently nibs her BLT sandwich. A failing distraction from her thoughts. Their strained silence is interrupted. By Alaric joining them taking a seat next to Damon.

Immediately Damon tells him, "We have trouble."

"No you have trouble," Alaric replies, "I'm going to be on a date with Jenna tonight. Plus we're not a team. Remember when we first met and you tried to kill me or how you turned me wife into a vampire," Alaric points a finger at Damon then himself, "We are not friends...whatever trouble is going on you can handle just fine."

"But remember back when we conspired to kill werewolf Mason Lockwood?"

"Yeah, and?" Alaric questions.

Gwen responds, "I think he's still a little pissed."

Watching as Mason Lockwood sits next to Alaric. Surprising him as Mason smiles, reaching across steals Damon's drink. Mason takes a large gulp. With a smirk he informs them, "God, I miss whiskey." Without warning he smash the empty glass over Damon's head, "See you lot around."

"Told you so," Gwen says as Mason leaves.

Sighing Alaric runs his face eyes looking towards the entrance, "Jenna is not gonna like this."

"Probably not," Gwen agrees spotting Jenna walking towards them, "But she seems like a reasonable person. Also now knows the truth. So just tell her what's going on."

Nodding Alaric gets up and meets Jenna. Engaging her in a hushed conversation. Finished talking Jenna with worried eyes let's Alaric lead her outside.

Gwen switches her attention to Damon telling him, "I need to get back to the house," She stands, "Natasha probably already back," Damon attempts to stand, but Gwen stops him, "You stay here….keep Mason away and make sure he leaves Alaric alone."

"Are you going to be fine without me?" Damon questions.

"Yes, promise," Gwen says leaning down and planting a kiss on his lips.

"Hope you have more then me," Damon says as he hands her his car keys.

Laughing Gwen responds, "Come on ghost can be lots of fun."

She leaves behind a smirking Damon. Halfway to his car Bonnie stops her. Caroline right besides her as Bonnie asks, "Why is Jeremy able to see his dead ex girlfriend Anna."

"Just a slight hiccup, but worry I'm about to fix," Geen says, "One of Colton's people are gonna help me...could use another pair of eyes, if you all want to come will be at the Salvatore's place."

"We will meet you there," Caroline says juggling her keys.

Gwen finds Natasha waiting by the front door. A short skinny dirty blonde boy beside her. In her arms a blue medium duffle bag. Gwen heads for them as Bonnie and Caroline arrive. Natsaha induces the boy as Dylan. They all head inside for the parlor, Natasha pausing next to Gwen. As she closes the door behind them.

Unzipping the duffle bag and pulling out a leather wrap Natasha says, "Here….take one every morning and it could help dull the pain."

Unfolding it Gwen finds veils full of clear liquid tied down by leather strings sown in. Closing it she thanks Natasha, "Thank you."

"You will reach a point where nothing helps the pain," Natasha sighs, "That is when you will know your time is up."

Thanks for such encouraging words, Gwen thinks as Natasha walks off. Running upstairs she places it in her designated drawer in Damon's dresser. Then races back downstairs to a rearranged parlor. Everything moved to clear the center. Where a large pentagram of petals with candles on each point lays.

Natasha speaks as she steps into the center, "Alright Dylan is gonna be our anchor...in fact if your witch friend wants to be our second anchor," She address Bonnie, "Would make our chances of not getting sucked or in the spirit world better."

"Sure," Bonnie responds.

"Great," Natasha pulls out a small dagger from her boot, "Gwen it is very important you think of where you first felt the rings curse and think only of that."

"Why?" Gwen questions.

"Because we are going to drink a potion that will force us to leave our physical bodies. Letting us see the veil between living and dead," Natasha steps into the middle, "To get to where the hole is, your mind must be focus with desire to revisit that spot."

Stepping into the center Gwen nods. Natasha makes a small cut on her right and left hand. Passing the dagger on they all copy, except Caroline. Who watches carefully body tense, but ready to attack. Until her focus is shifted to Elena entering. They exchange a hushed conversation. Before Elena raced down stairs to the cellar and Stefan.

I will ask her about it later.

Natasha quickly goes over a spell in Latin. Before stepping into the center facing each, getting on their knees. A bottle of purple liquid in their hands. Both chanting a spell in Latin. Bonnie and Dylan on each side of them. Quickly Natasha and Gwen swallow the potion. Letting the bottle drop their hands latch onto Bennie's and Dylan's. Gwen and Natasha's eyes slam shut.
