It's been a year since we last saw our heroes and characters. I left you on a cliffhanger last time and I regret doing that now. My bad…

Megan: Last time, Alex made fun of me for liking this cute guy named Damien. Infuriated, I left out in an emotional frenzy and found myself battling Elliot! Poor Natsumi is also in a coma! But I won't give up that easily!
6. Strength in Bonds
The battle raged on as the two opponents fought. Megan watched as Mega Blaziken tried throwing punches at Mega Banette, but to no avail. His fist kept going through the jeering mega, making him laugh more.
"For a fire type, you aren't that bright ya know?" Mega Banette joked, dodging another blow from him. "Most would've given up by now!"
Mega Blaziken gritted his teeth. "Guess I'm just stubborn or I have something to prove." He replied, sending a hook kick towards him. In was all in vain as his leg passed through him.
"That's insane! How can his kicks not connect with him?" Megan wondered aloud.
Elliot rolled his eyes. "You call yourself a trainer and yet you don't know basic knowledge? You have power, but you lack intellect."
"How dare you! I'll show you intellect!" She threw her hand forward. "Mega Blaziken use Flamethrower!"
Mega Blaziken inhaled and released a stream of fire at his foe. Seeing the attack coming a mile away, he swiftly moved to the side and cackled.
"Your attacks are easily readable! Not surprising coming from a fighting type!"
Megan clenched her fist, her anger rising. She couldn't let this pokémon get to her and yet he was doing a pretty good job with it. Elliot saw her frustration and smirked.
"Mega Banette, let's wrap this up. Her bond isn't as strong as we thought." He said, flipping his hair. "End this with Phantom Force."
"The same move that made that other girl go to sleep? Okay you're the boss!" He smiled evilly as he disappeared from sight.
Megan gasped when he said that, remembering the girl who was in the hospital. "Wait a minute that was you're doing? You put that girl in a coma!"
"Trainers with weak bonds shouldn't be allowed to have megas. If you don't share the feeling of battle or the experience of it, you should not be a trainer at all." Elliot grinned as he looked down at his book. "This book gives me the power to learn all I can about every pokémon with these strange powers. With it, I can bring this school down on its knees."
"No we won't let you!" Mega Blaziken rushed forward only to be intercepted by the Phantom Force attack. He fell to the ground with a loud THUD!.
"BLAZIKEN!" Megan shouted, fearing for her partner's wellbeing.
Mega Banette floated over towards Elliot. "That was a waste of a battle. I didn't even have that much fun."
"No need to comrade. Now snatch up his mega stone for examination."
Megan ran towards her fallen partner and shielded him from the twosome. "Don't touch him! I won't let you take his mega stone away! We worked too hard for this stone!"
"Your opinions matter not, I won this battle. Now hand over your mega stone."
"Step away from the student if you know what's good for you!"
The four looked up to see Luna with her Lopunny and two other individuals.
One was a male. He had black hair, brown eyes, black short sleeved vest with a white shirt under it, black pants and black shoes with white laces. On his side is a black satchel with a white pokeball symbol on it. On his head is a black cap. By his side is a Typhlosion.
The other was another female. She had long blond hair with brown and orange streaks pulled up in a high ponytail with bangs hanging behind her ears. She wore blue jeans, a Pikachu pullover, and a white t-shirt w/ black converse high-tops that have Absol on the sides. Next to her was an Umbreon.
Elliot growled and glared at Megan. "We'll finish this later." He turned to his partner. "Let's go." He ran past Megan, giving her a final glare before disappearing with Banette.
Luna sighed and walked over to a distraught Megan. "Hey are you alright kid?" She asked her.
"What just happened? This wasn't supposed to end up this way. "She mumbled, hugging her partner. "He's hurt because of me."
"Hey the student council is here now! Cheer up okay?" Luna leaned down and smiled at her. "We'll help you find this joker."
"Ya know it! My name's Nykolette, but you can call me Nyko!" Said the girl with the blond hair. "The quiet guy is Aj, but you get used to his reserveness."
Aj waved shyly at Megan, making her smile at him. Seeing his friend's face, Typhlosion chuckled.
"Making moves on a girl we just met? That's very unlike you indeed." He teased, Aj shooting him a frown. "I'm just kidding okay?"
The Umbreon walked over to the fallen Blaziken. "He needs medical attention now!"
"Agreed," Lopuuny said, hoisting the unconscious pokémon. "Nurse Joy needs to take a look at him.
Megan bit her lip as she observed her partner's condition. He had bad cuts and bruises. His mega stone was a bit cracked too.
Your bond with your partner is weak…
For once in her life, Megan felt simply helpless.
"Man your kidding! Megan and Blaziken got beat by some hotshot trainer?"
Jordan was outside in the garden when Liz relayed the news to him. Lucario's eyes widen at the thought of his closest friend being severely injured in battle.
The opponent must've bee powerful for him to waver. He thought, rubbing his paws on his chin.
Liz looked down at her shoes. "It's true, she was very distraught when the student council found her. It must've hit her hard with reality."
"She has to learn though. Megan has always relied on pure strength alone." Gardevior pointed out.
"True, but she's always had a backup plan in case things went south." Jordan shook his head. "Where is she now?"
Lucario's ears perked up at the sound of a snapping twig. He used his aura to scope the area and stated to growl.
"We aren't alone Jordan." He told his partner. Jordan nodded and hushed Liz who also nodded. Stealthily, the crept closer to one of the bushes. Jordan leapt into the bush and heard a frightened yelp.
"Aquatica what are you doing here?" He exclaimed, his eyes wide in shock.
Aqua squeaked as Jordan got off her. Her eyes filled with hearts and her chest started to thump loudly.
"Jordan I didn't know you were here!" She said, fighting off a blush. "I was just in the garden!"
"You were spying on us weren't you?" Gardevior accused her, narrowing her eyes at her suspicious behavior. "Don't lie either."
Aqua sighed and shook her head. "It's true, but I did it for love of course! My father always told me to help his plans, but I came here on my own free will!"
They all raised an eyebrow at her, she was way too weird.
"That's great Aqua, but you shouldn't really be spying on people." Liz said. "It's rude."
Aqua crossed her arms. "What were you doing with Jordan then? Are yo guys intimate?"
"WHAT THE HECK?" Lucario shouted, seeing the two teens mouths drop. "WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?"
"So you don't deny it then! Fine!" She faced Liz, a full determination in her eyes. "I won't let you have him! We must battle fro his affections!"
"Hold up, I don't like him that way! He's my friend!" Liz tried to explain.
"Enough temptress! I won't be swayed by your manipulative words!" Aqua held up her pokeball. "Battle me for I will surely win."
Liz grabbed one of her pokebals in disgust. "I'm going to battle you just because of what you said. Your making a big mistake challenging one of the best students in MEA though!"
Jordan sighed at his friend and the crazy girl. Didn't he have a say in all of this?
