Chapter 6
"Megan" her mom said as she went over to her, quickly. "Are you okay, sweetheart?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" Megan said as she tried to get her mom to let go off her as she was hugging her.
"Well your obviously not fine as you wouldn't be in hospital" her dad said.
"But I'm okay now though"
"So what's wrong? Why did you faint?" Her mom kept on asking her.
"The doctor is trying to find out"
"That's not on, they should have found out by now." Her dad said. "Where's the doctor that's treating you?"
"I don't know"
"Well I'm going to find the doctor" her dad said as he walked out.
Megan didn't want him to do this. She didn't exactly want her parents with her; she hates being surrounded by them. She didn't want them to worry. She can deal with things herself. Well she can't be dealing with things if she ended up in hospital.
Sam was just about to check in Megan, when she saw someone come out of the cubicle.
"Excuse would you be able to tell me who's treating my daughter?" He asked.
"Is your daughter Megan by any chance?" Sam asked.
"Yes"
"I'm treating her, I was just going to check on her but we are still wait for the results" she said as they walked to the cubicle.
"What results?" Megan's mom asked, worriedly as Sam and Megan's dad entered the cubicle.
"The CT scan, it's just to check to see if there is any damage to the brain." Sam told them. However they already knew the results were clear as she told Megan earlier but it was just something to say as she needed to speak to Megan.
Sam had gone to get those 'results' when she saw Megan's mom and dad leave the ED. She decided to go and speak to Megan.
"Sam" Dixie shouted after her. Making Sam stop walking.
"How's Megan?" Dixie's asked.
"Well CT came back clear and I was going to speak to her earlier but her parents had turned up. However they've gone now" Sam explained.
"Hope you can get to the bottom of what's wrong" Dixie said "erm did you notice anything about her arms?" She asked as they both headed towards.
"The scars?" Sam whispered.
"Yeah."
"I noticed them and she went mad. I know that's the reason why she fainted and I think she knows." Sam explained.
"Are you going to talk to her?"
"Yeah"
"I'll come with you, maybe she will feel better knowing that there's people wanting to help her" Dixie said. "Also I think she knew that I noticed earlier so she'll be okay with that"
"Okay then" Sam said as they both walked over to Megan's cubicle.
Was Megan finally going to open up? Or is she still scared too?
