A buzzing sound could be heard entering the chamber until a yellow car was seen between Anna and ahk. Greetings lady Anna the all of us have put together a surprise for you in the Midwestern room said Octavius leaning out the window. Yes thank you said Anna. Since ya don't know yer way you kin follow us to the place said Jed leaning out the other window. Yes will do said Anna. Let's move shouted the cow boy and with that the car began to cruise out of the chamber. Go ahead Lady Anna; I'll be there shortly said ahk. Anna then followed the car. Anna looked about the halls as the car lead her on, until it stopped at a pair of wooden double doors to be met by Sacagawea. We'll meet you inside my lady said Octavius. Sacagawea had something draped over her arm. What is this? Asks Anna. Your dinner dress says Sacagawea. I didn't need anything formal though said Anna. Well, this is a first official meeting of you so we thought we would put something together for you , a warm welcome from us, the citizens you've met, the first time you met us was solely introductory without much chance to talk but at this point now we can she said. They've outdone themselves, but thank you very much said Anna. Sacagawea handed off a dress that was floor length and a soft pastel pink. The collar rumpled in front without being too low cut and towards the bottom the silhouettes of black flowers came up to the knee. A small grey box came with it, a modest pearl necklace and earrings. Thank god id done my make up today then Anna thought. Anna returned to Sacagawea after shed changed. And with that the double doors were opened to a dinner table with teddy, Larry, ahk, Jed, octy and Dexter seated there. Hey Anna said Larry. You've outdone yourselves said Anna hugging Larry. Teddy pulled out the chair for Anna and scooted her in. Sacagawea took her seat and dinner began. A civil war puppet brought clay dishes with a pasty looking substance in it and other dishes with flatbread on it. Pita and hummus said ahk. The drink was served from clay jugs, Roman honeyed wine said deeply grateful you all prepared this for my welcome said Anna. It would be a pleasure to have you with us more often lady Anna said Octavius. He like having ya around said Jed through a mouthful of duck that had just been brought out. Jed! Said Octavius scornfully. Do I sense fondness Octavius? Said Anna teasingly the whole table chuckled. Octavius shook his head. Soup was then served. Bean, squash, and rice soup said Sacagawea. So, what brings you to our institution asks teddy cheerfully. The fact that my father works here and the stories I've heard of you fine folk, make me want to explore and exist as a part of you. But is it true lady Anna that you and ahkmenrah are talking about a switch of rulers? Asked Sacagawea. As much as Anna did not want to say right away, she answered. Yes. However it's not like I will wage any sort of conflict in hopes pf obtaining leadership. I honestly do care to know each of you so I can rule accordingly should he choose to let me. Yadee ,yadee yadee,you like her! Said Jed this time mouth full of soup Dexter pointed and cackled at the poor roman. Forgive me Lady Anna, he has terrible timing said Octavius. Understood general, said Anna blushing. At this point the plates were cleared and a final steaming yet sweet dish was brought out. An, now a dish from where I come from said Jed! Ah yes apple pie it is a favorite even in this era said Anna. After pie the group sat for a bit. I thank you very much for the welcome; though you went far above and beyond what I expected I'm very grateful .Im glad you each pitched something in. I hope to be a part of this and I will be looking forward to continue getting to know this lovely museum. Said Anna.
