Author Note: hey guys, well I'm sorry, I don't have excuses I can only say that a lot of things has happened to me, I was depressed for some family problems but thankfully and honestly the anime Gintama helped me recover I look at life differently thanks to it, and now concerning the story I will continue but I'm really busy so I don't know when I'm going to be able to update again so sorry guys
but here with the story
Link dreamed, and as he dreamed...
everything was pitch-black and Link was standing in a void of nothingness, wearing the clothes of the time when he wasn't a knight of Skyloft, he managed to see at the distance, what appear to be the shadow of a man, as Link start to approach the shadow he noticed something, he wasn't alone, by his side there was his childhood friend, the person who now shares the memories of her grace Hylia, Zelda was there holding his hand, yet there were differences on her
she looked strange instead of the white ceremonial dress she has been wearing in the surface or even the clothes from skyloft like himself, she was wearing instead a gold armored crown resembling leaves with exception of the middle one that has a pink gem adorning it, she wears a golden breastplate covering her well developed chest with golden shoulder pads united by a necklace, clad in a golden white battle dress divided from the middle allowing for view of her legs and clear movements, and shawl in the middle of the dress revealing arcane symbols, with gleaming gold armor wrapping around her lower torso, thighs and waist along with gauntlets and knee-high armored golden boots with heels, and also she wears cut off purple legging stocking that reach higher than the boots, and her hair was like always just this time with gold ornaments and at the ending of her hair reaching her lower back tied in a short braid (A/N: Zelda's design in hyrule warriors just the dress white rather than pink)
Link was astonished of the otherworldly beauty that now emanated from Zelda, but that wasn't the only thing, she emanated power, not the same kind of power like Demise, it was closer to the type of magic that has Makarov or more accurately to the triforce, and yet, she seemed frightened of the thing in front of them, the shadow.
the best Link could do to be describe it was 'as the deep desire to kill of a demon', bloodlust emanate in waves that make Link sick in the stomach, a killing machine for lack of a better term, and above everything else 'dark'
when Link step forward once again along with Zelda, the shadow budge, freezing them, penetrating blood red eyes open to stare at the duo, eyes that call for blood intensely, a savage and insane smirk appeared on the shadow features, radiating bloodlust, insanity in its purest state, the eyes which were barely opened, widen in surprise as if seeing a familiar face, Link could see now that the eyes had cat like pupil waiting for its prey to come closer
"kukuku!" a dark chuckle came from the shadow, paralyzing them more if that was even possible,it's not like Link wasn't afraid, he has fears and has learned to face it, such was the intention of the first silent realm challenge but the thing in front of him, it's voice was even scarier, while Demise presence was a feeling of death in the air and his voice yelled superiority above any being, this shadow, every word with a venom with no cure, was a mass of madness and thirst for blood like some kind of vampire, the pure intention of transform the surroundings in a meat valley with a lake of blood "long time no see, L-'ink!'" the penetrating venom that was working as words echoed in his head even when the voice sounded like that of a furious girl… 'wait what?'
in a sudden movement Link turned his vision to where Zelda was supposed to be but found an empty space being replaced with what appear to be an armored fist almost on his face
"AHHHHH!" Link was back in the world, or at least he thought he was, because what was now in front of him was a demon of scarlet hair with what appear to be killing intent towards him, it seemed like the demon has some kind of fire magic because his left cheek was burning, and it felt bigger than usual
"Erza wait, you said you were only going to wake him up" another feminine voice reach Link's pointed ears so as he turned he got a glimpse of blonde hair bringing back memories of how Zelda looked in his dream, but noticing that this person in fact is Lucy
there were two other persons in the room "Natsu, Gray what are you doing here?" asked casually Link, ignoring the death glare of Titania
"we come to see why it took you so long to come to the guild" Gray answered back, but noticed a puzzled face in the hylian features "you didn't forget, right?" Gray could see that Link was trying to remember something, as he put his hand on his chin while looking upwards, then the cool mage noticed the bandage in the chest of Link and narrowed his eyes, was he hurt from before
"oh, right" Link exclaimed while he slammed his fist with his hand in realization "I promise to fight with Erza right? I hope she doesn't get angry because I overslept" seemingly obvious that the hero hasn't noticed Erza in the room, probably because he thought that the scarlet demon was part of the dream he just had and didn't notice that now said demon is behind him cracking knuckles with a killing aura surrounded her hair hiding her eyes, Link in response turn his head shakingly sweating nervously "uh… hi Erza, ehm I can explain it really" Link gulp while trying to get Erza to not kill him where he stood "you see I-"
the knight known as Erza Scarlet just slam her hands on the desk that was part of the room Link pay for the night "explain what!?" Erza spat out "that you prefer to stay here sleeping while I make a fool of myself waiting for you to arrive" now Link really has done it
'wow, she actually has a very good idea of what I was trying to say,though I wouldn't have said it with those words' the thought went along with a nostalgic smile, Zelda could be very fearsome but how Erza interpreted things she was also embarrassed by something he couldn't tell but was enough to make her look like child complaining for a candy "now, now it's not that I wanted to stay here. A friend of mine used to wake me up always but now she is not here" Link the proceed to put his hands on the floor and vowed several times while praying to Hylia or rather Zelda to not be killed "I'm really sorry"
Erza expression seemed to soften a little as the Link apologized "well then, if you are truly sorry, get ready and dress up to finish this" even when her expression softened her voice still has that demanding voice that leave no space for argument demonstrated by Link answering 'yes ma'am'
"WHAT!?" Natsu usual angry voice echoed in the room "if it was me who were late I would already be a pulp" Natsu protested on Link's bed having already claimed it
"maybe because he is not as annoying as you charred brain" gray shoot back at the pink haired dragon slayer, Link was almost ready from changing clothes, the bandage of his chest in the floor, unknowing to him the female knight just got a very good sight of the odd jagged scar forming part of the skyloft resident chest, but refrain from asking fearing it might bring back bad memories to him or maybe he could get upset about it. Apparently the others didn't notice Link holding his chest, the burning sensation in his heart has not disappeared
"what was that ice tits" before Natsu could start a fight and destroy the room along with Gray, Erza silence them with her glare
"well then, I'm ready" said Link as he adjusted his gauntlets and put in place both swords forming an X on his back along with the hylian shield, Link seemed to notice something was missing "where is Happy?"
Natsu shrugged and stop his assault at Gray without Erza noticing, he would deal with him later, "he is in the roof with your bird, said something of fish partners"
"I see" Link answered while opening the door to leave, everyone following from behind
once outside of the building
"oi! Happy we are leaving!" Natsu shouted at the roof where the magnificent crimson loftwing, proud symbol of Skyloft was seemingly having a good time with azure cat with a bigger mouth of which should have currently eating fish what surprised Link was that Alae was in fact eating fish, well Happy is not a human so he probably could let pass the cat antics, aside from that Link has never seen Alae eat fish… has he actually seen him eat something? when they were together Alae didn't seem to be interested in eating, perhaps when he didn't see what he was doing. Happy ignored the usual yell from the dragon slayer
"aye, everyone loves fish but you didn't hesitate in taking one unlike Lucy" Happy said as he took another bite of fish and take another one from the bag in his back only for him to launch it and for Alae to swallow it instantaneously "I like you already Alae, from now on you are my fish partner"
but then the presence of the mighty Titania and her imposing voice freeze Happy in his tracks "Happy if you don't hurry then we will leave you, understood?" once again the cool steel in her eyes leave no space for argument as Happy just standed up and reply with his usual "aye sir" then materialize his magic wings and followed as fast as he could, Link just stood in his place, Alae landing beside him, he raised his left hand so he could stroke the feathers of the face of his dear and loyal loftwing
"yeah, she is a lot like her when she is angry" Link said as he now walk toward the direction of the building of Fairy Tail without losing of sight the group of mages "hiee!? you already like her because of that?" the loftwing just nod as his rider looked at him with a betrayed expression "you are a sadist bird, you know that?" truth to be told Link can't even hear the thoughts of Alae but their bond is enough for him to understand what the mighty bird express with his mind "she puts me in place? whose side are you with" Link just continued to walk silently with an irritated expression, but suddenly his expression turned more serious "she hasn't taken off her armor a single time" the statement suggests that she has a reason to do it 'I mean I understand that she has it when was waiting for me to fight but to enter the building with it?' the thought resounded in his mind even Alae seems to have the same thought of her it was odd behavior she has reached a level in requip magic that allows her to change not only weapons but armors alike surely a few minutes without it would not hurt… right?
Link would take off the silver shoulder pad he has on his right shoulder if he were to enter someone's house as guest, of course that would be the case if he were to stay a considerable time but since he commonly went straight to the point there was no need for that, Erza could have the same reasons as he has so he just shook off the thought, nothing he should worry about
the guild was already in view and someone was at the entrance giving some kind of announcement, the group Fairy Tail mages that went to his room was almost there with Link and Alae following but before they could enter, a mass of human meat stormed out of the guild as fast as they could, what could be the reason of that? ah yes the fight between him and Erza Scarlet, Alae quickly took flight allowing the rest of the guild to surround them and start to cheer on waiting for the battle to begin
Link blushed in embarrassment, it was the first time he was going to fight in front of so many people, the last time he did something with this kind of crowd was in the wing ceremony that allowed him to officially become a knight, Link ignored the feeling and steeled himself "sheesh, many people, isn't a bit exaggerated?" his question just ignored by the bunch of mages surrounding them, Natsu, Gray, Lucy and Happy have already gone with the crowd beside the silver haired beauty that welcomed and teased him just one day ago "well, no case in complying about that, let's end this" the green hero muttered softly as he turn to see Erza "are you ready, Erza?" the question only make Erza smile confidently
"this spar is just to test my own limits, but don't get a bad idea, I will not hold back" Erza said and it was turn of Link to smile, it would be the first time he spar in a long time, Link used to spar with his master but it has time that he surpassed him and no one has fought with him in a clash of swords, the only ones being Ghirahim and the king of evil Demise, but those weren't battles you could call funny or entertaining, the two demon were by far the strongest ones he has encountered before, that including his time in Earthland, but now it was different, Erza could be a great challenge and Link could use it to learn how to fight mages in the best way possible
Erza make appear a broadsword in her hand, and start to gaze at Link carefully, he has two swords sheathed in his back, what means he can fight with dual blade skill, but he also has a shield with a design she has never seen before, and it looked tougher and of much more quality than any other shield she has seen, even more than the one from her adamantine armor that is said to have absolute defence, by other side Link has that bow he used against Lullaby and who knows if he has another weapon like that
Link was in a similar position to Erza, he has only seen two of her armors, the heaven's wheel armor that allow her to manipulate many swords at the same time, and the black wing armor that gives extraordinary power to a single attack, it's obvious that she has more but still not knowing the others could take him by surprise, but still it will be fun to see if Erza can be a good match
all the members have started to make bet on who will win, all actually betting for Erza but the team that fight Eisenwald didn't know what to think, Gray and Natsu know very well that Erza is a monster in her own right but Link showed them in the station that he is capable of many things, when Natsu attacked him, he was perfectly fine and then he took them by surprise with his speed, even Erza was barely able to stop the attack from that time, and then he dodged a hammer made of ice and a flaming punch from Natsu, everyone has seen the creation speed that Gray is capable of and the power from the flames of Natsu and he dodge it effortlessly when they thought all his attention was on Erza, and Natsu within Happy are the only ones who get to see the spell Link use to defeat Erigor meaning that Link is not to be underestimated
"aren't you going to unsheathe your sword?" Erza asked Link who hasn't moved a little and has yet to take his sword when Erza already has requiped a sword, Link seemed to notice as well and raise his right hand to reach for his sword on the left side, a mundane sword compared to that of the caliber of the master sword
"aren't you going to change your armor?" Link said that and it sounded like simple question out of curiosity but in truth it has deeper meaning, like that of provocation, provocation that did not pass through Erza and some of the members of the guild whose eyes widen in surprise, the man in green clothes challenged Erza, one of the strongest of Fairy Tail to change of armor, by the guild standards, the provocation of Titania was synonim of asking to be murdered
"start!" makarov give a start to the battle, Erza didn't lose time as she requiped the heaven's wheel armor armor and took flight while materializing a mass of swords behind her, waiting for the mental command to be launched at full speed against the pointed ears man
"the heaven's wheel armor? that is her signature armor, she plan to end it right away" Wakaba the smoking mage of Fairy Tail complained, that armor was too strong and he didn't believe Link could take it
'so she actually is going to change of armor' Link thought as he watched Erza prepare to launch the barricade of swords
"Blumenblatt!"
"oi, Erza he hasn't even taken out his weapons! you are going to kill him" Macao said as he watched Erza's swords charge against the green swordsman "master!, do something!" he then yelled to Makarov, no one believed Link could take the scarlet S-class mage of Fairy Tail, but the master of the guild didn't move an inch and continue to watch what was about to happen
the swords went at full speed looking like razor sharp blurs directed at Link, but for him everything went in slow motion, the world froze, the only thing between Link, the swords and Erza, when the first sword was about to cut across the face of the brown haired swordsman, he crouched a little while starting to spin to keep up with the blade that just passed a few centimeters from his head, without losing sight of the sword while it passed, Link was already facing the other side, when the blade was at hand reach he took it without losing his momentum causing a bunch of impressed faces, the spin continued until he was once again in its original position with another blade almost on him, but the hero manage to intercept it by striking it down with the blade he just caught
where are you Link? "here" what time is it? "now" who are you? "this moment"
"no way, did he really just do that" Gray say out loud his thought without consciously realizing it, mouths on the floor, they all looked Link moving impossibly fast hardly following the moves he did in just mere seconds, but the truth is that he is not fast he just move efficiently and no wasted movement
Link proceed to jump to avoid the barrage of swords while throwing away the one he just caught
those thoughts were something his father teach him before he died, he didn't understood them until recently, there is no reason in trying to understand what could have happened or what will happen, if it happen then it happen nothing more or less, Link just take out all the trash in his head in order to do what must be done
Erza didn't let the clearly amazement reaction she had being shown and proceed to attack
just as the sword of Erza was about to slash the head of Link with a vertical slash Link only move his right foot behind the left one and inclined his body a little and the sword from Erza that was just a few millimeters from his eyes passed by the side of Link along with Erza, if there was something there it will probably be sliced along with a part of the floor, the eyes of Erza widen in surprise, she stopped her momentum to turn to see Link with his back towards her, just as she was about to attack Link took the sword from his left side and suddenly spin to the right side while drawing the sword, when the right foot of Link slammed against the floor to stop himself from spinning the floor break and Link slammed his sword against the one of Erza the force making the floor shatter and push her back a few meters, sparks coming from the armored part of her legs, when she finally stopped she turn to see with amazed eyes to Link, it was the first time that she is pushed back like that, she is highly confident in her physical strength, she was way too strong even by wizard standards but her legs could feel the tremendous pressure they just went through and were even trembling a little, but Link used his momentum and an excellent example of superior skill to attack, that mortal draw while fast, Erza normally would be able to follow it but this swordsman moves were not strange but she has a hard time following them
the guild wasn't an exception, all had their mouths in the floor, Natsu, Gray and Happy as well the guild members thought that Erza will finish the battle instantly, hell some even think Link was going to die, but Erza almost get a serious injury within the first move, and Makarov was no exception, he knew just by looking that Link was strong, forged with the flames of battle and tempered with the cold embrace of death who several times try to claim his soul. the moves he just did defy all expectations, he even see that the eyes of Link show more courage and experience than anybody he has seen with that age, almost as if he has fought against death itself, in Makarov eyes the boy was a sword, made of hardships, steeled by pain and taken care of with compassion similar to his brats though some of them still need something to open completely, he knows that Erza wears armor to protect herself from the past
back in the battle, Link while taking advantage of his unexpected moves, couldn't help but frown seeing that Erza manage to avoid getting caught in his attack. not surprising considering that just by watching he can tell that Erza has a lot of potential, the best thing he could do now was prepare for what might happen next, Erigor was a surprise indeed but Erza was a league of her own another reason not to underestimate mages
"I see, it seems I really don't have to hold back against you" Erza said it almost as if nearly have been gravely wounded wasn't a big deal, while those were indeed inhuman moves that took her by surprise, it was still early for her to be defeated with just that, so she took a stance and allow her magic to change armor, this time it was dark red in color, but also sports orange and black parts, with the orange parts being shaped like flames and the other parts being reminiscent of Dragon's limbs the breastplate lacks pauldrons, revealing Erza's shoulders, and extends down to cover her groin, revealing her legs and being somehow reminiscent of a one piece swimming suit, with an orange part covering her breasts and another one circling her waist like a belt; the black parts on it are mostly decorative, with one covering her groin. The gauntlets sport prominent orange decorations, along with small claw-like protrusions on the hands. The greaves are shaped like Dragon's claws, possess orange-colored knee guards, and black parts which extend up from the knees to the upper part of the thighs. The breastplate possesses a pair of Dragon-like wings attached to it, and, while donning this outfit, Erza's hair is tied into a pair of high, long pigtails by clips resembling Dragon's horns
by looking at it Link could deduce it was probably a fire element armor, also he tried to hide his blush but failed miserably, were all her armors so revelative?
Erza ignored his red face taking it as a mere coincidence and proceed to attack using her red bladed sword, Link took his shield and withstood the attack, the sword of Erza emitted red light and the sky child was suddenly engulfed in flames and Erza backed away a bit for the flames to disappear slowly, like the last time Link's crimson earrings were shining
"as I thought, those earrings gives you protection against fire" Erza realized, Link couldn't help but notice that even realization coming from her mouth sounded like orders, she seemed to notice since their meeting in the train station that Natsu's roar didn't affect him at all
"heh?, this ones? yes they do" Link explained while lightly touching them "I could catch a cold inside a volcano with this" as he finished his sentence he put his shield in front and sword facing the floor, Erza putting both hands in her sword above her head when she suddenly start to glow to change her armor once again
this time the black wing armor she used against lullaby, the flush returning to Link's face, were clothes like that so common in this age? Link didn't even have time to think as Erza suddenly launches herself with great speed, her charge was stopped by Link and his ridiculously sturdy shield, and at the same countering with his sword which was parried away, the real match began
both fighters, attacked, blocked, parried evaded and more, each one trying to take the other openings in order to finish their opponent to no avail but Link was getting pushed back, it seemed that each strike Erza landed on him was stronger in fact when Link blocked with the hand of his sword this was going each time more numb, while the one with his shield protected him perfectly, Hylia bless the thunder dragon Lanayru for the shield, when Erza was about to slash his face Link used all his strength to block with the shield and make her lose her balance to his left side and instantly use a spin attack directioned to his right side. Erza upon seeing the blade almost on her reacted on instinct and jumped while rotating to the other side the blade was coming from, her own face mere inches from the green hat of Link
Link was surprised, this time he actually tried his best in attacking Erza believing her capable to defend herself so it wasn't a fatal wound and yet be enough to have her on the ropes and win, but she avoided it with a ridiculous level of instinct, similar to him in the past, knowing that she was now on his back he tried to turn back as fast as he could Erza already attacking him and only with time to put his blade clash with her own when both heard a voice
"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
too late…
both blades clashed but upon contact the third rate sword of Link had shattered, Link fall to the ground and Erza´s black sword pointed at his face, with the hero expression being a blank one and pleading with eyes like plates about to cry, and Erza with her usual stoic expression though to Link was more like a female monster about to strike
"I said enough" a frog like creature said, one with authoritary looking clothes, Fiore is somewhat strange "everyone stay where you are, I am a messenger from the council" when the frog-man said that everyone paled "stemming with the recent eisenwald incident, we hereby charge you with eleven counts of criminal property damage, Erza Scarlet, you're under arrest"
everyone's eyes opened widely due to the accusation even Link seemed shocked until he opened his mouth "see Erza, it was your fault"
Lucy couldn't help but be perplexed at how Link ignored a serious matter with ease
SMACK
Link was smashed to the ground by Erza leaving him KO for now
"the reports also spoke of a green clad mage, that is probably you, right young man" it wasn't a question, the frog also has the intention of arresting Link, and now he was scared was he going to become a fugitive? what would Zelda think of him, oh Gaepora was going to kill him and he wouldn't hear the end of it from Groose, the sweat running through Link skin was obvious to everyone and he did not seem to notice when the frog put some weird handcuffs on him "we are going to the Council now in order for you two to be judged"
on the forest towards ERA
Link couldn't help but sigh at his luck, he is in this age to stop whatever evil is threatening the world and he get arrested, Erza seemed calm for the situation and he couldn't wonder why was that
some sounds could be heard in the bushes but Erza and the frog didn't heard anything, perhaps because of his ears, the were a little sensitive, the frog was behind him leading them but Link turned his head as if examining the panorama and managed to see pink hair protruding from the bushes and laughed a bit at Natsu idiotness, so he instead whistled a tune
"please be quiet until we reach the council" the frog said
"yeah, I'm sorry" Link answer leave Erza thinking, she didn't believe he would just whistle like to pass the time in this situation so she looked up and manage to see the silhouette of bird, probably Alae, but it was too high to make out it's form she would ask him later
meanwhile
"gehee, I will infiltrate the council to free Erza and Link, that way they can't refuse my challenge" just as he was about to continue his stall a huge red bird took him from the back and start to fly towards the guild "oi, damn it Alas or whatever, put me down, I must rescue Erza and Link oi" but the bird ignored him and still go
Fairy Tail Guild
everyone seemed depressed or too serious for the stoic fairy tail
"oi, let me out of here now!" yelled Natsu
"Natsu, quiet down" mira reproached, Natsu was too dense in this kind of situation, but Natsu insisted as if he could something since he was locked in a simple glass and Natsu himself was a mere lizard "you'll just go on a rampage if let you out"
"No I won't, so turn me back"
"if I do that you will go to rescue them right?" the flaming lizard AKA Natsu responded "who cares about them"
Gray took the opportunity to express his thoughts "it's the council we are dealing with here. It's out of our hands"
"what those guy are the bad ones"
"if you are innocent and the council says you are guilty, then you are guilty, you seriously think they would listen to us?" Gray was making a foolish attempt at convincing Natsu that is useless to do something
"but we have done all that stuff before... why this time?" Elfman reasoned
suddenly Lucy got up, with a determined face "I can't just stay here! let's go testify on their behalf!" just as Lucy was about to exit from the guild, the master who was sitting patiently directed her gaze towards her
"wait Lucy"
"this arrest is an injustice, once they decide on a verdict it will be too late" Lucy tried to explain but the master instead opted for closing his eyes once again
"it doesn't matter how fast we go, if we leave now we won't make it in time!" said the master while hearing the unbearable yells of Natsu of letting him out "you sure you want to get out?"
at that Natsu seemed nervous "y-yes"
"what's wrong Natsu?" just as the master was about to shatter the glass with his magic a sound started to be heard from the roof "mmh what is that?" everyone looked up and suddenly the roof broke and Natsu came falling down
"ahhhh!"
""NATSU!"" everyone yelled with their eyes out of their sockets
Natsu fall in the glass where Natsu was trapped, broke it and smoke appeared making Lizard Natsu turn into Macao "Macao?" Levy yelled this time and her team almost die from a heart attack
"grr, damn it, you bird I'll make you pay!" Natsu yelled to the roof, so everyone looked up once again and got to see Link's bird or loftwing peeking into the guild
"so Link noticed you and make Alae bring you back, what an idiot flame brain" Gray said while removing his shirt
"what was that ice breath? you wanna come huh?" while Natsu and Gray fought master Makarov couldn't help but be relieved
"Link managed to avoid us some problems because of Natsu"
Back at ERA
the frog was now leading them through the corridors of the council quarters, and in one of the pillars was a man with blue hair and a tattoo in his right eye and just as Link and Erza approached he opened his eyes, and they were cold, calculating and most of all evil, Link put a similar glare in response, Erza seemed surprised as her eyes widen
"Siegrain!" the frog kneeled before the man named siegrain and Link couldn't help but be surprised at how Erza's voice seemed to lose confidence and put a stance reflecting her trust on that man
"long time no see Erza, don't be so on guard, follow your partner example" Siegrain proceeded to show his hand that seemed to be transparent "this is just a thought projection my body is now in ERA, though the old men in the next room are also all thought projections, it's not like they'd come here for such a trivial matter"
sweat was starting to run through Erza's face "I see, so this is just all your doing, what a farce"
"huh, don't be harsh, I defended Fairy Tail you know" Link was starting to get sick from that arrogant smile, Ghirahim had it as well "the old men were afraid of sharing the blame so accused you and your friend here" he directed his gaze towards Link and couldn't help but be surprised at his eyes similar to his when he was prisoner in the tower of heaven and didn't lose his resolve "they thought blaming a newcomer would be perfect along with you Erza, in other words both of you are their 'scapegoats'"
"oh, then this all just a show!" Link face was darkened by his hair in shame he didn't notice until now
haha, now I didn't catch your name young man" siegrain said to Link and in return his serious expression returned

"enough!" Erza yelled "what do you want?"
"ara, alright I just came to warn you Erza" he approached while passing through Link "say nothing of the past to the old men, for both our sakes" the last he said it as whisper in her ear again Link ears managed to hear that "now, I'll see you on the other side" and then his projection disappeared
"you know some powerful people don't you?" the frog who all this time remained knelt asked in fear
Erza stoic expression returned to normal "he is evil"

Link and Erza were now in the room in which they were going to be judged with all the councilmen partially present "we will now commence this wizard's trial, the accused Erza Scarlet and…"
"Link, sir" Link couldn't help but be nervous of his situation
"right, and Link" everyone in the council eyed Link carefully "in regard to the recent incident involving Eisenwald and the Lullaby, you will answer to charges concerning the damage done to parts of oshibana station, the destruction of the ryushika gorge railway and the complete collapse of the clover meeting hall, both of you are accused of these acts of destruction, according to witnesses the culprit was an armored female wizard and a green clad mage, wait why was this man not disposed of his sword? take it away now"
"eh, that's a bad idea" Link said, they take away his shield and pouch but couldn't manage to take the sword, two guards approached Link and just when they were about to touch the handle, this started to emit a white aura and expulsed a powerful wind that send the guards flying, Erza was able to resist it, all the council was shocked
"what is this madness? are you resisting" the councilman who was on top of the others reproached
"I'm terribly sorry but only I can touch this blade, don't worry though it's power is sealed" Link said that while bowing
"mhh, take them to jail" said the lord of the council, and so they were taken but all the people in the council, specially Siegrain, Ultear and old man yajima a sword that only him can touch
for siegrain Link could pose as a terrible obstacle for his plans, yajima was amused not only the sword surprised him that boy eyes… were something he couldn't really describe and finally Ultear thought that this man Link could make thing more interesting
In jail
"your damn sword put us here Link" Erza was angry and that was scary in Link's eyes 'totally like Zelda'
"now it's my fault? I was going to leave it with Alae but that frog put me those handcuffs and couldn't help it" then he signaled with his finger "and you owe me sword"
"anyways, what's with that sword of yours?" 'she is ignoring me' Link thought with a sweat drop
"hmph I might tell you if you tell me first of you and siegrain" Erza tensed at that
"you heard... I can't tell you"
Link face was expressionless, he proceeded to lean on the floor "as you like, for all we know I could be holding a legendary blade that could possess unimaginable power but you are never going to know" the tick mark on Erza forehead intensify at his stubbornness
"tch, alright I will tell you a bit" Link couldn't help but smile
"I hear you"
