Time to for the next story, this time with the Mistralton gym leader Skyla, please enjoy. Flashback during the chapter.

Ash had been sitting at the edge of the airport in Mistralton City, watching Skyla do her stuff in her plane that she owned, thinking about the time the two first met, it was a warm day and perfect for a picnic with his pokemon, he pulled out the basket full of goodies and called out is pokemon, he smiled at the fact the all of Skyla's pokemon were sitting with him.

"Can't believe it has been two years," Ash said proudly as he pulled out a small black box from his pocket, "I wonder what it would be like if I were to," Ash thought to himself while the pokemon were eating their food, "would it be worth it?" Ash asked himself as he opened the small box to reveal a gold ring with a pearl in the middle.

"It has been two years, since that day," Ash repeated over and over again, "almost to the day," Ash said with a smile as he started eating a sandwich.

(The Flashback)

Ash waltzed to a tower just outside Mistralton City, he looked up to see the height of the tower, he whistled in amazement, "somebody help me!" a female voice called out.

Ash sprang into action and ran into the tower, he looked around to the floors of the tower only to find that there was no one inside, "maybe on the top floor," Ash said to himself while running up the stairs, "come on buddy, time to find out what's happening," Ash told his starter pokemon the small yellow pokemon sent sparks flying from his red cheeks before following Ash up the flight of steps.

After reaching the top floor Ash spotted a young woman with short magenta hair, blue midriff jumper, shorts, boots and gloves, she was surrounded by members of Team Plasma, "great, why did I have to run into these guys again?" Ash asked with a sigh of disappointment.

Skyla looked over to the trainer and his electric pokemon, "are you going to help me or are you just going to stand there?" Skyla asked Ash with a grin.

Ash nodded in approval, "Pikachu, deal with these guys with Thunderbolt," Ash replied by commanding his pokemon to attack Team Plasma pokemon. Pikachu unleashed a powerful blast of electricity, the devastating attack knocked out all of Team Plasma's pokemon but the shockwave pushed Skyla off the tower, "Dragonite, help save that woman now," Ash commanded his powerful dragon type pokemon.

While Ash was busy with saving Skyla the members of Team Plasma ran away from the place, Dragonite finally made it back to the top of the tower with Skyla on its back, "great she fainted from fear," Ash remarked with a smile, Dragonite landed on the tower placing Skyla on the ground, "thanks Dragonite, take a good rest," Ash said while returning the powerful pokemon.

Ash started walking away to chase after Team Plasma, "wait, who are you?" she asked with a smile as she started picking herself up, "my name is Skyla, the Mistralton gym leader," Skyla introduced herself calmly.

"My name is Ash from Pallet Town in the Kanto region," Ash said introducing himself to the gym leader, "what was going on? you know very well how dangerous Team Plasma are," Ash remarked in anger while shaking his head, "I have dealt with their kind through my entire journey here," Ash said before turning around to chase down Team Plasma.

"I saw them trying to take the bell from here while I was in my study in the gym," Skyla said with a frown, Ash was shock to hear those words from Skyla since the gym was on the other side of the city, "you're shocked right, pilots need good eyes," Skyla admitted with a smile.

Ash walked back up to Skyla, he extended his hand to help her up, "I will help you back to the gym," Ash said as Skyla took his hand and got back on her own two feet.

"Thanks Ash, I really appreciate it," Skyla commented happily.

The two walked out of the tower while talking to each other, "never knew that there was such a cute gym leader," Ash commented while joking around.

"You think I am cute?" Skyla enquired with a blush painting her face.

"Yeah of course," Ash retorted with a smile.

Skyla looked away for a moment and smiled at herself, "so you are here to challenge the gym, I will heal my pokemon, and during that time we can spend some more time together," Skyla decreed with a bright smile.

"What? I am the one that should be asking you out," Ash said as he took a step back in shock. The two walked back into the city laughing but not realizing that they were holding hands, "oh and I never replied to you asking me out, the answer is yes," Ash said before walking away with a proud smile on his face.

(Back to the present time)

Ash watched as Skyla landed her plane and exit the vehicle, Skyla took off her helmet and walked up to Ash who was eating the food, "I thought we were saving that for after my flight," Skyla said with her hands on her hips and a look of disbelief on her face.

Ash looked up to see Skyla angry at him for eating the food, "oh come on Skyla I was so hungry I need to eat something and so did the pokemon," Ash said with a nervous smile on his face.

Skyla let out a sigh and sat down next to Ash, she grabbed one of the sandwiches that they packed and started to eat it, "you know Ash, when I was flying in my plane I thought I saw a black box in your hands, what was that all about?" Skyla enquired with a smile on her face.

Ash couldn't deny what Skyla had asked he knew by now that Skyla had very good eyes even while flying at great speeds, Ash got up and got on to one knee, he pulled out the box and opened it, "there goes my surprise," Ash retorted with a chuckle, "Skyla will you have the honor in becoming my bride?" Ash asked nervously.

Skyla looked at the ring for a moment and shed a quick tear, she looked into Ash's eyes and smiled at him, "finally you asked me something before I asked you," Skyla replied with a giggle, "yes, I accept your proposal," Skyla remarked as she placed her arms around Ash.

The two looked into each others eyes again, Ash took Skyla's gloved off and placed the ring on her finger, before leaning in to kiss Skyla to seal the deal, "I love you Skyla," Ash proclaimed happily.

"I love you too Ash, now and forever," Skyla confessed with a smile. The two sat and watched the sunset while their pokemon played in the fields in front of the airfield.

This one was a little fluffy at the end, but I don't care, can't go without having a fluffy story every time.

Now this one didn't have a main story feel about LOL, I hope you like this one please review this short story and make a request a female for me to pair Ash.
