AN: Please review for crying out loud

Year 70 of the Cosmic Era. Due to the bloody Valentine tragedy, tensions between the Earth and the PLANTs quickly developed into a full-fledged armed conflict. No one doubted that the larger Earth Forces would be victorious, but these early predictions proved wrong. Almost eleven months has passed with no end in sight.
However, a group of warriors stand before the tide in hopes of restoring peace into this world. Unknown to many, they are our only hope against a hidden evil. They are known as Exodus.
Heliopolis, CE 71
"Tori! Tori" were words that echoed trough the sky as one individual by the name of Kira Yamato watched the news on his laptop when his friends arrived.
"According to information just received, the ZAFT forces have approached within six kilometers of Kaoshiung…" the reporter stated as Kira Yamato typed furiously.
"Kira. So this is where you're hanging out. Professor Kato was looking for you." A voice called out to him. Kira turned to see Tolle Koenig with his girlfriend Mirillia Haw. With him is a recently transferred student he knew as Conner Johnson.
"Again?" Kira asked in a rather tired and shocked manner.
"He's asked us to bring you to him immediately," Mirillia replied. "What is it? Are you helping him out on something again?"
"I'm still not finished with the stuff he gave me yesterday."
Tolle then heard something on Kira's computer and checked it only to be the news about the latest front on the war.
"Some breaking news?" Tolle asked.
"Yeah, Kaohsiung apparently."
"Kaoshiung isn't that far away is it?" a worried Mirillia asked. "Will the homeland be all right?"
"Sure. There is no need to worry," Tolle stated, "Although there close, we're a neutral entity. Its unthinkable for Orb to become a battlefield."
"I wouldn't count on it Tolle," stated Conner, finally breaking his silence, "Anything could happen. Especially with Blue Cosmos and those radicals from ZAFT still around."
Unknown to the group, war will come to them.
Space outside Heliopolis
"Don't look so disappointed, Ades," stated white coat Rau Le Creuset.
"Well, I guess it won't be too late if we wait till we hear back from the council!" replied Captain Ades.
"It will be too late. My sixth sense is telling me so. If we let things slip now, we would eventually have to pay those actions with our lives. The Earth Forces' new model G-Weapons are believed to look exactly and have the same capabilities as their Gundams. We must seize them before they moved from there."
Heliopolis
The four walked down inside a lab where their friends by the name of Kuzzey and Sai are working on some robot.
"Oh Kira, you finally made it," Stated Sai.
That's also when Kira and Conner noticed a boy in the raincoat and a hat. The two looked at him for a while before moving on.
"Who's that," Tolle, who also noticed the strange individual, whispered to Kuzzey.
"Oh a guest to see the professor. He was apparently told to wait here," replied the boy.
"And where's the professor?" Kira questioned.
After a few minutes of conversations, large amounts of explosions are heard. That's also when Sai noticed that one of them is missing.
"Wait, where's Conner?"
Conner immediately proceeded to a hangar and activated his comlink.
"Captain, what the hell is going on?"
"ZAFT's attacking, you better get your suit ready."
"Yes sir,"
The pilot activated a button, quickly causing a dark blue MS to appear. The cockpit slowly opened, allowing him to enter it.
The mobile suit slowly came to life. Its visor glowed for a moment and the thrusters began to power up. In a split second, the MS accelerated out of the hanger and into the streets.
Two GINNs furiously fired their 76mm machine guns at hundreds of hapless EA soldiers when they noticed something approaching them. They immediately turned around and fired their weapons.
Conner maneuvered the ReZEL out of the hail of bullets and activated his beam saber and charged.
He dodged a volley of projectiles as his arm performed a lunged at one GINN, the beam saber piercing to it. He pulled the weapon out as he jumped back while the GINN exploded.
The other ZAFT mobile suit decided that dual wielding its sword and gun will be for the best. However, when it fired its machine guns, the ReZEL easily used its thrusters to dodge each shot and performed a vertical slash, taking out the rifle.
Conner positioned his ReZEL like an ancient Greek or Roman warrior would with the shield raised and the beam saber just on top of it. The GINN positioned itself by placing both of its hands on the handle of the sword and pulled it back but with the blade pointed at Conner.
The GINN charged and lunged, but the ReZEL's shielded form manage to tackle through and the beam saber then thrust itself into the GINN's head, prompting the ZAFT pilot to set up the self destruct and bail out.
Once Conner jumped out of the scene, he quickly assessed the situation.
Conner then looked around using his suit's optics and saw a mobile suit rising. But this wasn't just a mobile suit. He saw it flex its movements while on the ground. He saw it slowly get up. He saw the flash, its eyes emitted.
This wasn't just a mobile suit; this was Mobile Suit Gundam.

"Gundam?" Kira Yamato questioned as the controls came online.
The war machine rose from its place and stood there like a guardian angel. The Gundam then quickly used its boosters to get out.
The Gundam and another one burst out of the rubble and landed apart, with the latter in perfect shape and the former almost tumbling down.
Kira watched as the Earth Alliance trooper/improvised pilot used the optics to observe a GINN and the other Gundam. That's when he spotted his other friends
"Sai! Tolle! Kuzzey!" Kira yelled out as the Gundam barely managed to dodge two 76mm rifle shots from the GINN.
The GINN then holstered its machine gun only to draw out its sword. The GINN then charged while the other Gundam stayed there.
The Gundam manage to use its thrusters to jump out of the ZAFT's lunge. The vibrations however cause the boy to fall to the pilot.
"Stay back! Do you want to die?!" she yelled to him.
"I'm sorry!" Kira stated.
Before both of them could respond, the coordinator-made mech rushed to the EA Gundam and jumped, the blade going for the killing blow. Kira screamed out but the improvised pilot activated a button.
Suddenly, the MS's armor began to color itself with the body being blue with a bit of red and the limbs and head white. Using its forearms, it blocked the downward slash the GINN pulled off to the shock of both Kira and the ZAFT pilots.
"What?" questioned Miguel Aiman as he withdrew his sword from the EA prototype known as the Strike. He quickly jumped back.
"Damn! What's going on, what's with this armor?!"
They're equipped with phase shift armor," replied red coat Athurn Zala inside the Gundam kwon as Aegis.
"Once activated, a GINN's saber is useless against it!"
Athurn then activated the phase shift of the Aegis. The mobile suit turned blood red befoe shooting down two missiles with the CIWS. Athurn then used the 75mm cannons to destroy the half-truck that deployed the missiles.
"You get outta here now!" Miguel stated. "There's no reason for you to stick around forever!"
Athurn thought about a friend of his. It was a long time since they saw each other, but he knew his very recent meeting would not end well for both. His friend's name is Kira Yamato.
And he prayed to whoever's up there that's not Kira in the Strike.
Once the Aegis left, Miguel continued his assault on the Strike beginning with a thruster-powered charged. The Strike's CIWS tried to get him but it was useless.
'Why, this hasn't been…' thought Kira as the Strike dodged another swing. The GINN however managed to hit with a vertical slash, knocking the Strike back. Another hit to the shoulder knocked down the Gundam.
Kira then saw his friends in the vicinity of the battle. He also saw the GINN about to thrust the torso of the Strike.
He had to do something.
In a flash, he quickly activated a button on the control panel and pulled the suit down, allowing it to dodge the blade. The Strike then used its right shoulder to tackle the GINN, knocking it down.
"You?," the EA operator asked in a scared and surprised tone as Kira took over the controls.
"This is nuts! How do they expect to move complex machinery with this O.S.?"
"It hasn't been completed yet. It can't be helped!" replied the EA soldier.
"Please move! Hurry!" yelled Kira as the officer complied and Kira took the seat.
Kira grabbed the keyboard and began writing a program at an impossible speed.
The GINN charged at him, but Kira managed to use the 75mm cannons to hit the GINN and then delivered a good punch to the head.
Kira then quickly typed down the program with all the info he knows. The GINN then fired several shots at the GINN, prompting Kira to step a pedal and pushed the throttle in order for the thrusters to activate.
The Strike jumped into the air as it dodged bullet after bullet from the GINN.
Kira immediately checked his suit for weapons, only for two to be available.
"IS THIS IT?!" Kira yelled out in frustration as he took out his 'Armor Schneider' combat knives.
Two hatches from the legs opened up and popped out two giant knives. The Strike's arms quickly took the knives as the suit itself ran to dodge bullets.
Kira then quickly dashed to the GINN and stabbed it twice in the shoulder and neck, disabling it. The GINN however self-destructed.
Before Kira could move, a huge explosion surrounded them. Thankfully, the MS is impervious to explosion like these.
Kira then noticed something as he looked up and noticed a stream of yellow when he realized that was gunfire and pulled back.
'No,' Kira thought, as he had no range weapons with him.
That's when a yellow burst of beams came into the GINN, destroying it instantly.
Kira turned the suit around as he saw a mobile suit that resembled a GINN, but it was darker in color and there were no cosmetics the GINN had. As if it was only built for war.
The teenager then saw another mobile suit, but it was almost a stark contrast to the other MS. This one was colored blue with a red visor. It was also taller and more humanoid looking. Like the other one however, they both give off the aura of war. He also knew this is one of the mobile suits used in stopping a nuclear attack on the 14th of February, CE 71.
"EA Gundam, you okay," asked one of them.
While Kira would have wondered how would they know that name, he responded anyway.
"Uhh, yeah-" suddenly, he heard a groan from one of them.
"Great, another Amuro Ray…" stated the man before he continued. "Kid, I need you to land that damn thing and tell me what you know.
Once Kira got the currently unconscious woman out and met up with his friends, the two other MS pilots joined him. One of them is a middle-aged man. The other is only a year or two older than him. Unfortunately, he recognized that person.
"Conner?!" yelled/asked his friends in unison and shock.
"You're part of those elite MS guys that stopped Junius 7 from turning into scraps?!" yelled out Tolle
After a while the EA woman woke up, and she saw two teenagers messing with the G-Weapon.
The two students were suddenly shocked as bullets went near them. Meanwhile, a man who appears to be in his forties and a much younger individual drew their assault rifles and pointed it at the EA soldier.
"Get out of there now!" the woman yelled.
The others approached her while the two pilots noticed that she has not noticed them. Using this to their advantage they slowly move in as the EA woman began interrogating the civilians.
In an instant, the man knew something was behind her as she saw a man aiming a rifle at her while the other slowly approached.
"What's your name soldier?
"Lt. Murrue Ramius," she said rather fiercly.
"Lt. Commander John Rommel. Joint Earth Federation-Zeon SPEC OP unit 'EXODUS'" stated the man.
"Lt. Conner Johnson. Same unit," stated the younger one.
Murrue was shocked. She has heard of a practically unknown force capable of turning the armies of ZAFT and EA into molten slag. Not to mention that despite being confirmed as Naturals due to their movements and blood samples miraculously acquired, their infantry has been known to be 'smarter' than the average EA/ZAFT grunt.
Slowly, she lowered her weapon as Conner checked the others.
"Wonder why the damned thing has no proper equipment right now?" John wondered out loud.
"The Strike uses various Striker packs that can be used for multiple situations," the EA officer explained. "We should use one of the pack's batteries to contact the Archangel as it uses a different and coded frequency from yours.
John nodded as he motioned one of the students to go to him.
After a while, they managed to retrieve the Striker pack known as the Launcher pack and put it on the Strike.
"Archangel. This is Strike. Do you read me over?" There was no reply.
"Archangel. This is Strike. Do you read me over?" Again, it was just static.
Kira sighed as he looked on the controls on the Strike.
"Anything on your frequency?" asked Conner.
"Nothing."
That's when a large explosion occurred. The group saw a CGUE and a Mobius Zero fighting but I was clear that the CGUE was winning. The mobile suit then turned its attention on the Strike.
"Everybody get down! Kira, we'll handle that guy!" Rommel stated.
Kira then realized that if the CGUE fired, the two UC pilots won't be able to reach their machines in time and his friends would be dead. He knew what had to be done.
"THERE'S NO TIME!" Kira yelled out as he readied the Launcher's 'Agni' cannon.
"WAIT! That's too-" before Murrue could finish, the Strike sent in a VERY large beam of energy that looked like it should have come from a positron cannon.
The beam missed the CGUE, but it disintegrated its arm.
Before the CGUE could respond even further, a massive warship appeared. The warship appears to have 'legs' in front with the whole machine painted white and streaks of red.
"Is that White Base?"
"This is the One Year War all over again.
AN: I'm alive. That's all I'm gonna say.
In this chapter our heroes met the ultimate machines of war, the Strike and the Archangel. With a massive strike force preparing to attack them, will our protagonists stand out as legends or as a simple statistic?
Anyway ZAFT knew about the gundams since they have one in their possession
By the way, I'm considering on making a Halo fanfic where a marine becomes a Spartan
