00Q - Q as the Doctor and Bond as the companion. GO.
"An entire Sontaran war fleet…" said the Doctor in near whisper, his glasses-clad eyes searching the face of the man in front of him who was currently occupied by the pulling of levers and the pressing of buttons in his futile attempt to stop the impending crash of the ship they were currently standing in "An entire fleet…" his mouth opened and closed, reminding Bond of a goldfish, he just stared blankly ahead at the monitor showing their quickening descent to the surface of a rather large planet.
"Well, yes!" Bond shouted in an attempt to disrupt him from his current state of wide mouthed shock "They were going to kill you and I thought perhaps-" he grunted as he attempted to pull what looked to be a steering wheel toward him "YOU WOULD PREFER TO LIVE!" he said grunting in obvious effort.
"You didn't have to blow them up!" he said in that insufferable way that occasionally caused James to want to punch him in the face, which a lot of things seemed to do with the Doctor. "That was just unnecessary!" he said with what could only be described as a pout.
"Yes, yes!" James shouted with irritation "We can argue semantics later! In the mean time would you mind assisting me in, oh I don't know, not crashing!" his tone took on an edge of panic when he noticed the red surface of the ever-nearing planet peaking over the monitor closest to him.
"Well I wasn't the one who decided that leaving the TARDIS to get dinner was vastly more important than remembering his bloody key!" the Doctor angrily crossed his arms but looked to the blinking lights and blaring alarms with boredom "Then who decided that going to a restaurant crawling with sontarans was just the most brilliant idea? Who got us both kidnapped!" he walked over and pressed a few buttons to quell the alarms and then walked over to a large cylindrical machine and pressed a small glowing button. The TARDIS materialized beside him and he had that smug smile on his face. James felt the urge to punch him again.
"I tuned this teleport to the TARDIS's matrix while you were being an idiot," he paused and leaned against the blue box "Oh sorry, I should specify. While you were shouting at the console like a madman." he looked like he was almost ready to stick his tongue out at Bond.
"You are an ass," he pushed the door to the TARDIS open with a grunt and heard the Doctor follow behind him. The door shut and the regular noises of the console filled his ears rather than the cacophony of the crashing vessel. "So what about the ship?" he said with a little curiosity.
"Oh, It'll be fine," the Doctor said with a smile "It's small enough that the TARDIS can pull it along and into the path of a nearby Sun." he pulled a few levers and adjusted some knobs to make sure the craft would trail closely behind them.
Bond just stared at him momentarily before making the decision to kiss him thoroughly, which he then proceeded to do. Finally wiping that damned smug smile off his face.
The Doctor spluttered slightly and Bond took that moment to press him up against the console, grinding the two of them together to create a wonderful friction. The Doctor wrapped his arms around Bond's neck and then leaned back on the console. Suddenly alarms were going off all around them.
"What's happening?" Bond shouted through the loud noise as the Doctor turned away from him and begun searching the console in a frantic way.
"Well, I think we may have just accidentally dropped that ship in the orbit of a planet," said the doctor as he pressed a few buttons and pulled a screen towards him, where his face fell slightly "Ah yes Jexar 3, the official planet of the Galactic Peace Assembly."
The Doctor bolted up and dancing his way around the console. His bad mood suddenly gone and replaced with a manic energy that filled his being. He turned to Bond, a wide smile gracing his face.
Bond smiled back because this smile definitely did not make Bond want to punch him in the face, it made him want to do something else entirely. But that would have to wait until after he'd saved the planet.
