Here is an update of DWAN! Finally! Sorry for the long wait, you know, school and stuff.
Oh, and BTW, thanks guest reviewer Allstorygirl2008 for the idea! I might use it! In the next chapter or so. Okay, let's get on with it!

After the ninjas told Avery, Tyler, Stan, and Chloe about their elemental powers and Spinjitzu, and Zane told them about him being a Nindroid, they were quite impressed. They decided to get to know each other and find some more information on each other's worlds.
"So how exactly did you guys become ninjas?" Avery asked.
"And a samurai." Nya reminded her.
"Right. And a samurai." Avery added.
Since Sensei Wu wasn't there to tell them the story of Ninjago, Zane told the legendary tale. Sensei Wu was still back in Ninjago, probably wondering where they were.
"Long before time had a name," Zane began. "Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master using the four Elemental Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, you know, the ones we told you about yesterday. When he passed, his two sons swore to protect the weapons, but the oldest was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them. A battle broke out between the brothers, and the oldest was struck down, and banished to the underworld, a place no mortal can travel without help. Knowing his brothers wreckless ambition for power, the younger brother hid the weapons, placing a guardian with each one to protect them, but for fear of his own demise, he created a map of the weapons locations for an honest man to hide." Zane explained.
"That honest man was actually mine, Karen's, and Nya's father." Kai said.
"Really? Wait, what do you mean by 'was'?" Avery asked.
"Well, he um..." Karen trailed off.
"Oh," Avery replied, realizing what she meant. "I'm so sorry."
"No, no. It's okay. It was awhile ago." Nya told her.
"Continue the story Zane." Kai said.
Zane cleared his throat. " The younger brother learned that his older brother had somehow taken control of the underworld skeleton army. The skeletons could travel between Ninjago and the underworld, since they are immortal. Knowing his brother was trying to use the army to get the Golden Weapons, since he was stuck in the underworld, the younger brother knew he needed to get them first, but he needed help, since no one can handle the power of all four golden weapons at once. He needed the map, and four ninjas to collect them first. The older brother's name is Lord Garmadon, and the younger brother is Sensei Wu, he is the man who recruited and trained myself, Kai, Jay, and Cole. We were the ones who had to collect the weapons." Zane finished.
"Wow. So, how did Lord Garmadon become evil?" Chloe wondered.
"Well, from what Sensei told us, he and Garmadon were not only brothers, but they were best friends, until one day, when Sensei Wu and Garmadon were sparring with their favorite sparring katanas, when Wu lost his sparring katana over the monastery wall when Garmadon accidentally knocked the sword out of Sensei Wu's hands. Knowing their father would be mad, Garmadon asked Wu to go retrieve it, but he refused. Garmadon told Wu not to put off what can be done today, and climbed over the monastery wall to get the katana himself. He found it in a bush, but when he reached down for it, a small green snake slithered out of the bushes and bit him! He became ill, because the snake that bit him was an evil, legendary snake that would grow forever as long as it consumed. The snake was called the Great Devourer, the one we mentioned yesterday, that the serpentine awoke and we had to defeat. It turned Garmadon into the dark lord." Kai explained.
"Wow," Avery replied, astonished.
"I know right?" Lloyd said.
"I know this may sound crazy," Lloyd started to nervously say. "Lord Garmadon is... Is... Is..." He stuttered.
"Is what?" Stan curiously asked.
"LordGarmadonisactuallymyfather!" Lloyd exclaimed in one breath.
"What?" Avery was shocked.
"Really?" Tyler asked.
"Seriously?!" Chloe exclaimed.
"Cool! How?" Stan asked.
"Well, it took years for the Devourer's venom to completely consume my father into darkness. Before he was the dark lord, he met my mother, fell in love with her, married her, and I think you know how it works from there." Lloyd explained.
"However, I was about five years old when my father's transformation to evil was complete. My mother took me away for both of our safety. She dropped me off at Darkley's Boarding School For Bad Boys so she could go learn every possible thing she could about the prophecy of the Green Ninja, to help protect both me and my father. I spent five years at that place. I was ten when they kicked me out because I "wasn't bad enough" for them. So, to show them, I... I was the one who...released the serpentine." Lloyd finished.
"Wait, that was you?!" Avery exclaimed, shocked.
"Yes, I'm ashamed to say it was. I wanted to be like my father, at the time, until my uncle Wu and the others took me in, and later realized I am the prophecized Green Ninja, and started training me. I'm glad I took a turn for the better, turned to the good side." Lloyd explained.
"Good,"
"What's the Green Ninja?" Stan asked.
"Me, obviously." Lloyd replied.
"I know that, but what's the prophecy of the Green Ninja?"
"The prophecy states that the Green Ninja must battle the Dark Lord, to determine the fate of Ninjago. So, in other words, the battle will be Good vs Evil, son vs father, me vs my dad. I don't want to do it, because evil or not, he is still my father." Lloyd explained glumly.
"Oh Lloyd I am so sorry." Avery apologized.
"No, no. It's alright. Really." Lloyd stated.
"Anyway, anything else you want to learn about us you can probably watch on that TV show about us you mentioned." Jay said.
"Yeah, Jay is probably right. Anyway, enough about us. Tell us about your lives." Cole said.
"Okay," Avery started. "A few years ago it was just me and my mom, but then she met and later married my step dad, who I still call Dad. Tyler and Chloe are actually my step siblings, but we call each other and treat each other like real siblings. Of course there are times when we fight and bicker, but we don't stay mad at each other for long. Almost a year after our parents got married, they went to the animal shelter and adopted Stan for us, as a surprise to help us bond, since we weren't really bonding on our own. It wasn't until later that day when I was feeding Stan that we found out he can talk." She explained.
Then Stan said "Yeah, I was hungry, and she was talking to Tyler while waving the my filled food bowl around in her hand while talking, but when she put that bacon flavored spray on the food, I just couldn't help myself. Needless to say I gave Avery and Tyler the surprise of a lifetime then."
"Yes, but only me, Tyler, Chloe, you guys, my , and unfortunately the annoying boy who lives next door know that Stan can talk." She paused, the ninjas looked confused, then she added "That's a long story for another time," Then she continued, "My parents do not know because we are afraid that they will take him away and experiment on him. So you can't tell anyone Stan's secret!" Avery warned.
"Don't worry, we won't." Jay said.
"Your secret is safe with us. If we can keep our identities as ninjas and a samurai, and if I can keep the secret that I am a Nindroid a secret from the public, and well, from people we don't want to know, I am pretty sure we can keep the secret that your dog can talk." Zane promised.
"Your lives as ninjas and a samurai seem much more interesting than our normal lives," Tyler said out of the blue.
"Well, we don't have a talking dog," Kai pointed out.
"That's true,"
"Well, now that we all know more about each other, what do you say we all go to the park, huh?!" Stan excitedly asked.
"Sure," Avery replied. With that, they all left Avery's room, and went downstairs. Ellen was in the living room, while Bennet was in his office working.
"Where are ou going?" Ellen asked.
"The park." Chloe answered.
"Okay, have fun!" Ellen replied.
They walked out the door. As they were crossing the street, Avery, Tyler, Chloe, and Stan all asked the ninjas if they could show them their elemental powers while they were at the park.
"Sure," they all answered in sync.
"Jinx! You guys owe me a soda!" Jay stated, The other ninjas just rolled their eyes at the blue ninja's comment.
When they got to the park, it was surrounded by police, firefighters, and paparazzi!
"Uh, what's going on?" Kai asked a reporter.
"We got a call about the elements of fire, water, ice, lightning, and earth, as well as some sort of green beam suddenly shooting up into the air, then disappearing at this exact location!" The reporter explained. Kai looked at his fellow ninjas and friends. Each had a look of panic and worry on their faces, because they realized they caused this sudden uproar when they tested their elemental powers earlier. What were they going to do about this?!
There's a good cliffie! Hehe, I love leaving cliffhangers on my stories, to build up suspense! This is the longest chapter I've written so far for this story, and it's finally updated!
