Naruto was thrilled, he finally was able to assemble his team. As he sat with Jiraiya they poured over the profiles of all the ninjas in Konoha. There were too many to begin with, they needed to make a perfect team. They were allowed 5 members of Konoha, along with Naruto, this would make a strong team of 6. Enough to beat the 9 members of Akatsuki and the 5 SS team that run with Jinn.
"Naruto are you listening?" Jiraiya interrupted Naruto's thoughts, "We need a fighting medic."
"Well what are our options?" asked Naruto. Jiraiya shuffled through some paper before pulling out three.
"There are three elite medics. The first is Sakura, great healer and had insane strength as we saw. Fighting level could handle Akatsuki, but not Jinn's team. Then there is Hinata, the best fighting medic in Konoha, despite her father's constant demeaning nature, she is an excellent fighter but of the three I chose, the weakest healer. But considering we are taking a strong combat team, they should have a strong resistance to beatings. The final one is Moegi, she is perhaps one of the best medics Konoha has."
"Better than Baa-chan?" interrupted Naruto.
"Yes possibly even better," continued Jiraiya, "she created a justu were she can heal them as they fight. She can protect up to 4 people at the same time. A very effective technique, however she does not have any fighting capabilities at all."
Naruto grimaced, this would be a tough decision. He took a deep breath before deciding on his choice.
"HINATA"
Jiraiya smiled, it was a good choice, if they wanted to stop Jinn, they couldn't play it safe, they needed to go on the offensive.
"Now who do you want to pick next, I will pick two and you will pick two now." Jiraiya stated.
"You go first Ero-Sensei" Naruto replied.
"Well considering that I will not be there," began Jiraiya "Kakashi, is obvious choice, he is an all-round ninja, and with his sharingan he can negate some tough Justus. Also he will be able to keep everyone in check. Also my next choice would be Konohamaru, we both saw how effective he is. He has a good reptroire of jutsus and he could cause some serious damage to not only Akatsuki but Jinn's team."
Naruto smiled, he wanted to pick Konohamaru as well. He knew with a little bit of extra training he could be an absolute lethal ninja. He thought about it before choosing his two choices, "My first choice would be Shikamaru, his ability to create plans and strategies is the best we have ever seen. My next choice would be Shino. His bugs would work on different levels for us, and based on his profile he has a wide range of genjustus which he acquired from his sensei Kurenai."
Hinata, Konohamaru, Kakashi, Shino, Shikamaru, and Naruto. This was an impressive team, Naruto thought. He truly felt that they could eliminate Akatsuki with ease. As far as Jinn was concerned, Naruto would deal with him later. This team would be perfect.
Naruto got up from the table, stretched his limbs and headed for the door.
"Where are you going?" asked Jiraiya,
"To grab some ramen," replied Naruto, "We should begin packing, we leave tomorrow at sunrise. And with that Naruto was out the door. Jiraiya sighed, this mission was going to last at least 6 months. Eliminating Akatsuki won't be easy, their leader Pein was extremely strong, and they had 8 other impressive members which include Itachi. What shocked Jiraiya was that Sasuke and Itachi have not clashed in over 2 years. It seems that Sasuke has taken his training from Jinn serious. That could only mean that a showdown versus Naruto is unavoidable.
Jiraiya got up and made his way towards Tsunade's office. When he got there he found her studying a document. Seeing this he knocked on the door. Tsunade was startled but quickly recovered as she called for him to enter.
"What do you need, Jiraiya?" asked Tsunade.
"We need the team to assemble, I need to give them the parameters of the mission and have them prepare them to leave tomorrow morning." Jiraiya responded. Tsunade was quiet, she had hoped that they would have stayed for longer. It was hardly a few days and they were leaving tomorrow. As she opened her mouth to complain, Jiraiya, interrupted her.
"We will be back, I promise. Naruto wants to settle back in Konoha, that I know for sure. Once this mission is done, we will be back for good." Jiraiya reassured Tsunade. Tsunade smiled and asked, "Who did you choose?"
Konohamaru, Shino, Shikamaru, and Hinata were all standing in front of Tsunade's office. She studied them before she began her mission statement.
"Your mission if you choose to accept is to aid and support Uzumaki Naruto in his operation of eliminating Akatsuki. The length of the mission is a minimum of 8 months with an extension that would remain until mission is completed. The success in the mission requires the elimination of all 9 members of Akatsuki. The members are: Kakazu, Hidan, Kisame, Itachi, Sasori, Deidara, Konan, Tobi, and Pein. This is an official S rank mission, mission pay will divided into two deposits. One for accepting the mission the other once the mission is completed. Do you accept?"
"I ACCEPT!"
"I ACCEPT!"

"And I accept," Kakashi said from the window ledge. Shizune turned to him and asked, how long he was there for.
"Around the same time Jiraiya-Sensei showed up," he replied. They turned towards the other side of the room where Jiraiya flickered into the room.
"Now that you have all accepted you have till tomorrow morning to pack up and meet at the front gate. You are dismissed."
With that all 5 shinobi left to go their own way to get ready.
With that Jiraiya turned to Tsunade and said, "Let the games begin."

I decided to go with the short chapter route for now. Some chapters in the future will be longer. I am thinking of moving this up eventually to M rating do to violence and potential "heat". Again feel free to critique in reviews I want to improve as a writer, and this is the best place to do it. THANKS CHEERS
