After a week of playing in the sun and turf, it was time to go home, for the first day of school was coming up and Severus wanted to get the boys both laptops that he could charm to work on magic, and actually was charged with magic.
Draco pouted as he packed his clothes into the trunk and smiled when Tilly popped up with another smoothie. "Masters Draco needs cheering up." she said and offered the drink.
Draco smiled and took the smoothie then gently hugged Tilly. "Thank you Tilly. You always know what I need." he said softly.
Toby smiled and walked over to Draco. "Need help packing?" he asked softly.
Draco shook his head as he shoved the last shirt in, not caring if it was sandy or not.
Toby giggled. 'And here I thought you didn't like packing up." he teased.
Draco smiled and stuck his tongue out at Toby. 'I don't but I don't want to make Tilly and Twinkle do it."
Toby smiled softly. "You're so compassionate." he said softly then kissed Draco's cheek.
Draco smiled and kissed Toby firmly. "Besides we will have to pack our trunks with our clothes when we get home." he said and smiled playfully.
Toby smiled and kissed Draco again. "Thank you for teaching me how to put my clothes together in a sexy outfit." he said softly.
Draco smiled and pulled Toby into a hug then frowned when Toby started to giggle. "What's so funny?" he asked.
Toby grinned and pointed where Twinkle was and had folded all his clothes into his trunk then popped away with the trunk, Tilly doing the same thing with Toby's trunk. "I think they want to get a head start on being home." he said playfully.
Draco pouted then sighed and shrugged. "I guess so." he said smiled at Toby. "Lets go find our dads."
Lucius smiled and gently kissed Sev's cheek before lifting his trunk only to have it popped away by Twinkle.
Severus chuckled. "I think the elves are wanting to get started on being here." he said softly.
Lucius nodded then too Sev's hand and headed for the foyer. "I'm glad we became friends. Have you talked to your love lately.?" he asked softly.
Sev looked saddened. "He left me. He didn't trust me after the war." he said softly.
Lucius smiled softly. "Things will look up. Boys?" he called.
Toby headed downstairs and smiled. "Da, I was wondering if you could help me invent something before we go to school." he said softly .
Severus raised an eyebrow. "Is it a potion?" he asked curiously.
Toby nodded. "I want to invent a potion that will bring Neville's parents awake." he said softly.
Severus pursed his lips. "That will be a hard potion to brew. Are you sure your up for it?"
Toby nodded. "They deserve to have their son and Neville deserves his parents." he said softly.
Severus smiled. "We will start when we get home." he promised.
Toby nodded and hugged his daddy. "Thank you Dad." he said happily.
Severus smiled and put Toby's hand on the ring then Draco's and his own. "Ready loves?" he asked.
Draco nodded and scooted closer to Toby, putting his free hand around Toby.
Once the port key went off and landed them home, Toby stumbled and nearly fell at the landing, Draco being the one to keep him up. "It's okay love."
Severus smiled. "Toby I need to check your back."
Toby nodded and slowly took off his shirt with a wince then looked to his dad. "How does it look?"
Severus grinned. "The welts are all gone but the cut will need a little longer." he said softly, knowing that he would have to do more at the school.
Toby sighed. "Do you think it will ever go away?" he asked at a whisper.
Severus saddened and shook his head. "Nothing I can do to help with its scaring." he said softly.
Toby looked to Draco. "Am I one?" he asked with tears in his eyes.
Draco quickly hugged the shirtless boy and kissed him softly. "No. You are the love of my life and nothing will change that." he said softly, then turned to his dad. "I want a marriage contract joining me an Toby together for the rest of our lives." he said softly.
Lucius chuckled and summoned his eagle owl who came in and immediatly landed on Toby's shoulder, rubbing his head against Toby's cheek.
Toby giggled and cooed at the bird while Lucius laughed. "People and animals are just drawn to you. first the dolphins now the owl who hates people and my son and your father and me." he said playfully.
Toby smiled softly. "I love animals and certain people. I'm nice when people are nice to me but put a wand in my face and I'll kick you in the groin." he admitted.
Lucius laughed then kissed Toby's forehead and wrote to his lawyer asking for a marriage license, between Draco Abraxis Malfoy and Tobias Salazar Snape, then hooked it to the eagle owl and smiled. "Be safe as you go." he said as let the bird out into the sunny weather.
Draco smiled softly. 'Shall I gather ingredients from the green house?" he asked curiously.
Severus nodded. "Get everything for a crushicatus and anything that will make a pepper up and then one for their minds unlocked." he instructed as he headed upstairs to change his clothes. Toby quickly followed and put on his cousins old clothes and headed to the lab to wait.
Severus returned in his own ratty jeans and an apron, then gave Toby an apron as well and gloves of his own, as Severus put his on. "Now what do you think we should make it with?" he asked.
Toby bit his lip. "Well if we can combine the cruciu potion with a pain killer and a mind healer and pepper up potion, they should start to wake." he said quietly.
Severus smiled and kissed his forehead. "I'll add in a little things that make the potion stronger. But why would you do this for Neville, I never saw you two together." he said softly.
Toby looked up and smiled. "Because whenever I needed someone to just cry to, he was there. Whenever I was alone in my own bed and sobbing he'd climb into bed with me and help me fall asleep without leaving my side. If anyone deserves his parents back, it's Neville. I don't think it's fair for all the stuff he did for me, for him to be an orphan too." he said softly.
Severus chuckled. "Sounds like a great friend. Alright lets see." he said when Draco arrived with the basket full of different potions ingrediants. "Draco can you go get the clear potion I tell you not to touch and the silver one next to it?" he asked softly.
Draco nodded and went to the shelf and stood on a step to grab both of them. "I'm going to add phoenix tears and freely given unicorn blood given from the head steed." he said softly.
Draco stared surprised. "Is that why you told me not to touch them?" he asked softly.
Severus nodded and slowly poured it into a low heated couldrin, along with the unicorn blood and looked to Toby. "Alright, Toby start cutting up some devils snare and giants mushrooms." he said softly.
Toby nodded and cut them up into small peices, not realizing they had been there for two hours already.
Severus smiled and nodded to Toby. "Throw in half the mushrooms and half the devils snare and please cut up the bark from the womping willow." he said softly and mixed in the mushrooms and devils snare slowly.
After twelve hours, both father and son had made ten different potions with different ingredients, doubled so there would be enough for both parents.
Toby grinned and looked up to his Dad. "Thank you Dad." he said softly.
Severus chuckled and kissed Toby's forehead. "You did amazing in there. I don't think you need tutoring, just a better potions partner."
Toby grinned wider. "Can we take them to the hospital now?" he asked hopeful, knowing Neville would be there at about this time.
Severus chuckled. "First go get shower in changed." he said with a smile and put the potions into a protective basket. "Draco?" he called softly.
Draco hopped up from the couch and headed over. "Did you do it?" he asked softly.
Severus smiled. "I hope so. Will you watch this while I go shower and change?" he asked softly.
Draco nodded and smiled. Twenty minutes later, both Toby and Severus arrived at the floo. Severus took the basket and smiled. 'We will be back soon." he promised then floo'd with his son to . they got permission to see Alice and Frank Longbottom then headed up to the unconscious parents, Neville sitting sadly in the room. He turned when he heard someone come in. "Can I help you? Oh professor. how are you?" he asked with a nervous look.
Toby smiled and walked forward, then hugged Neville close. "We think we did it Nev. We have potions to try on your parents." he said softly.
Neville frowned. "But their brain dead." he said softly.
Toby shook his head. "not for long." he promised.
After giving four of the potions to the two and still having no reaction, Neville looked ready to give up, until his mother blinked open her eyes. Severus stared wide eyed and motioned Neville over.
"mom?" he asked slowly.
Alice Longbottom weakly looked over and smiled. "Is that my nev?" she asked weakly.
Neville took both her hands in his. "yeah mom, it's me. Are you feeling okay do you want anything?" he asked worried and the nurse came in and stared surprised. 'How did you wake them?" she asked in shock.
Neville turned to Toby. "I owe you my life for bringing my parents back to me. Why would you do it?" he asked softly.
Toby smiled. "Because once I was harry potter and you took care of me." he said softly.
Neville stared surprised then hugged Toby gently. "Thank you."
He turned to his professor and smiled. "And thank you for creating the potion."
Severus chuckled. "it was all Toby, I just helped with the brewing." he promised.
Toby smiled and walked over to Frank Longbottom. "Sir?" he asked softly.
Frank looked to the boy and smiled. "Is that you Neville. you look so beautiful, always the cute on, next was harry but you were always a cutie pie." he said softly.
Neville laughed, still softly falling tears and walked over to Frank. "That's Harry dad, his name is toby now he saved you from your coma." he said softly.
The nurses came in and quickly started to take vitals and help the patients sit up very slowly.
The head nurse turned to Severus. "How?"
Severus smiled. 'My son invented a potion to wake them." he said simply.
The head nurse walked in and smiled at the boy. "You did well sir." she said proudly.
Alice smiled and motioned both Toby and Neville into her arms. "Your an amazing young man. your lily's son alright. Did you ever get to go with your real dad or did dumbledore kill them?" she asked softly.
Toby smiled. "My dad came and got me a few weeks ago and saved me from the dursleys before they killed me."
Alice frowned. "You were never to go to the dursleys. Lily wanted you with Severus and James did too."
Toby looked down. 'He stole their wills. I've never seen them." he admitted.
Alice frowned angrily. "If not me, it was supposed to go to your dad Severus, or my mother in law." she said angrily.
Toby took a step back nervously. "Please don't be mad at me." he said nervously.
Neville walked over and gently hugged Toby from behind. "She's not mad at you love, She's mad at dumbledork." he said softly.
Toby nodded and looked to Alice nervously. "do you think Neville could get a real wand now, since he is using his dads?" he asked curiously.
Alice laughed and nodded. "yes we can get you a real wand." she said and smiled at her son.
Frank looked to Neville and motioned him over to the bed. "I love you son. you know that right?" he asked.
Neville nodded and smiled at his dad. "I remember you used to throw me up in the air and catch me and you always made the promise to catch me when I fell." he said softly.
Frank smiled and kissed Neville's forehead. "I'll still always catch you when you fall." he promised then got a fierce hug from Neville. "I love you dad." he said softly.
Alice turned and smiled. "We will probably be here to recuperate before they let us go." she said softly.
Just then, Dumbledore walked and stared in shock. "Alice? Frank? How are you awake?" he asked surprised.
Alice frowned at him. "A better question would be why are you here. we have nothing to say to you." she said angrily.
Neville turned. "Headmaster you are not welcome here I suggest you leave a once before I call security."
Dumbledore nodded and left the room in anger. he could have had the Longbottom gold if they were still unconscious but no, Severus had to wake them up. he would find a way to get the money he wanted from somewhere.
