"What's with the face?" asked Aurora.

"Is Nova here as well?" I said.

"Yes."

"I'm heading back Echo." I said turning back at Echo.

"Aren't you going to show Aurora and Nova to there room as well?" said Echo.

"Where are they staying?" I asked.

"With you."

"Why in the- nevermind I can't argue right now." I said heading to my room.

"You better follow him Aurora."

"Right." said Aurora picking up her bags.

"Nova is probably wandering around right now."

"I'll find her as soon as I drop you off."

"Oh ok." said Aurora brushing her brown hair from her right eye.

"Why did they send you two here?"

"Maybe they thought you were lonely." Aurora said jokingly.

"They need to keep some agents back at HQ." I said pissed.

"I think they'll handle without us."

"In here." pointing to my dorm not stopping, "I'm going to get Nova."

"Ok, I'll just be here...alone."

I already know where Nova will be, so I head up to the roof. I find her staring up at the stars in the sky. Her blonde hair is in a bun with some of her hair down covering her left eye.

"Nova come with me."

"Something troubles you?"

"Don't worry about it."

"You have to leave the past in the past."

I look at her, "That's easier said than done."

She turns around with a smile, "It's nice to see you again Zero."

"Same for you and Aurora." returning the smile.

We walk to my dorm and I open the door. I find Aurora already passed out on my bed.

"If they told me sooner, I would have something for us all to sleep on."

"It's fine." she walks over to my bed and gets in.

"Looks like the floor is mine."

I wake up suddenly by a kick to the head.

"Wake up damnit." said Aurora still in her underwear.

"What do you want." leaning up from the uncomfortable floor.

"Where do we get breakfast? I have no idea where it is."

I look at the clock, "It's only 5 in the morning. Breakfast is served at 6."

"Well how in the hell was I supposed to now that?"

"Ok then, I'm going back to sleep now."

"No you're not." she said with another kick, "Since I have an hour, I might as well get ready. Where are the showers?"

"Shouldn't you cover up first?"

She rolls her eyes, "Whatever mom."

"Follow me." I said drowsily.

I escort her down the hall and turn left.

"Right here."

"Where is everyone?" said Aurora looking around.

"All the girls are probably still sleeping."

"Girls?"

"Only girls."

"Well, I guess you don't have a competition then." she said with a wink walking into the room.

"Jesus." I said to myself.

I walk back to the dorm and open the door. Nova has a blue shirt and sweat pants on.

"You're up too?"

"Not with you two talking."

30 minutes later, Aurora comes back to the room. She puts on a black tank top and some gym shorts.

I look at my watch, "It's about time."

"Then let's go, I'm hungry." said Nova.

As we walk to the cafeteria, most of the cyborgs come out of their rooms and head to breakfast. We reach the cafeteria and grab some food. I get a table for us.

"This is actually pretty good." said Aurora.

"Better than our food." added Nova.

Just then Echo came by our table.

"They want to see what three TALOS units can do. The mission will start after you guys finish."

When we finish breakfast, we change then head to the medical wing.

Aurora and Nova put on sports bras and compression shorts. I change into my compression shirt and shorts.

"Zero I forgot to tell you, you're going to use the TALOSv2 for now on."

I look at her in confusion, "Now you tell me."

"They operate the same, but the v2 doesn't form to your body. Aurora will explain it to you."

"Listen, you will step into the POD, don't panic. You will get crushed just like in the v1."

"Got it."

I step into the POD and the machine puts on the TALOS. I step out and I feel completely different. I feel much lighter and movement is much more smoother. My armor color is MARPAT Woodland camo.

Aurora throws me a M4 with holographic sight and verticle grip. She pulls out a Katana and Nova grabs a modified Barrett 50 cal nicknamed 'BASS' (Big Ass Sniper System).

"What do they say about bringing a knife to a gunfight?" I asked.

"Just watch me."

She walks over to me and activates my helmet. The helmet slides over my head and covers my whole head. Aurora and Nova also activate their helmets.

We exit and head to the helicopter and head to the destination.

"You're going to get spotted easier with that camo Aurora." I said pointing at her red camo.

"Whatever, it looks cool."

"I actually like Nova's Tigerstripe camo."

The pilot gives us the signal and Nova exits first. The target is located out in the middle of the countryside. Nova will have to be dropped off a mile away to have a clear spot to snipe.

An image of a middle aged man comes across my HUD, "This is the target, Marcus Grat. He bombed an elementary school killing 20 people."

The pilot gives the signal again and Aurora and I exit.

"We're off." said Aurora, "Zero take the bottom, I'll clear the top."

"Got it."

I look down five stories to the ground. I jump and form a crater when I land. I run toward the wall and bash through it, crushing at least 5 terrorists in the process. I raise my M4 and take out 5 more one after the other, they didn't see me coming. I move to the second floor and a sniper round vaporises one of the terrorists. Scared shitless, he runs over to a table and pushes a button. I kill him after he pushes it.

Just then a explosion of white smoke fills the building. The force of the explosion knocks me to the ground. I get up and find Aurora on the ground as well.

"You guys ok?" asked Nova worried.

"Yeah, but what the hell was that?"

"White Phosphorus." said Aurora getting up.

She grabs her Katana and ends the life of a survivor.

"Killing their own men just to kill us. Now their getting desperate." I said to myself.
