Hello, i am sorry i haven't been posting in a while, but i almost decided to quit doing this. And smartdumdum if you are out there please stop teasing me! But back to the cu-reepy monster guy.

Percy's POV

I screamed Annabeth's name as i saw the giant leopards tail fly towards her knocking her over, Selena shrieked and the leopard lept on top of me, we rolled over continuously, and i saw a guy with sandy blond hair and tan skin like Selena enter the room, he had the look of an 18 year old. He drew a sword, and plunged into the battle. He yelled a fierce battle cry, and threw his sword at us, i thrashed because it was headed straight at me. But at the last minute the leopard rolled over, and i was covered in yellow dust. He grabbed my hand and puled me up,

"Ow" i complained, he had a strong grip.

"Sorry" he said. Everyone else slowly crept out from behind the tables.

"Thank you" murmured Selena. He turned to face her.

"Say that again" he said

"Thank y-"she stopped. Piper turned to face me, tears started flooding down Selena's face making her make-up run down her cheeks. She ran forwards, and wrapped her arms around his chest. The boy, lifted her up and spun around. Barrett's face turned from happiness to anger.

"Aren't you going to introduce us to your 'friend' " said Annabeth while making a gesture to wipe her cheeks.

"Oh" cried Selena while wiping her face with her arm.

"This is my Ex-boyfriend Jack" she explained.

"You seem happy to see him" accused Barrett.

"BARRETT, he just saved all of our lives!" Yelled Thaliah.

"Actually, the only reason we broke up, is because long distance relationships are too hard" sniffled Selena while wrapping her arms around him again.

"Oh" said Barrett disappointedly, "i guess you guys are having a 'reunion' " Selena nodded her head.

"Guys lets go, we can say some people crashed the party" said Piper while dialing the school board director.

"Wait! There is still something i don't understand" shouted Annabeth. Everyone turned to look at her.

"How did Selena see the monster"

"I guess i can explain that," said Jack.

"Do they know Selenz" murmured Jack. She shook her head no.

"Well, i am demi-god son of" he hesitated, taking a deep breath "Apollo"

"Ok, but how does that explain how Selena saw the monster?" i inquired.

"Im getting there" said Jack, "when we got together, she always saw the monsters where ever they were, she is not a Demi-god though."

"Oh," said Annabeth quietly. I looked at her, only people that were magical could see monsters, and normally she would be rattling her head off about it. We all turned to leave.

"Well i guess this has brought all of us closer together as Friends" said Annabeth as she came up to me. I nodded. Thaliah and Nico took the front, Annabeth and i followed. Selena and Jack dropped behind talking quietly.

Selena's POV

"How you been doin?"Asked Jack.

"Thinking if you everyday" i said dreamily.

"Oh shucks" he said jokingly.

"Im guessing you got a new girlfriend, who is the lucky girl?" I asked.

"No one... Who is the lucky boy" asked Jack.

"No one" i said "Oh too bad" he said grinning. He stopped and grabbed my face gently and pulled up my head.

"Wha-"i asked in surprise as i was cut off as he kissed me. I relaxed as his salty lips brushed against mine, finally he pulled away.

"Ive missed doing that" he breathed.

"Me too" i admitted. He took my hand and we continued walking.

"So what brings you to New York?" I asked. "I have to start thinking about colleagues" he answered.

"Oh yeah, i forgot, you're my big Einstein, you would like Annabeth. She

is the smartest girl in school" I said smiling. Jack smirked.

"Im gonna be going to school at Goode High" he said.

"Thats where i go!" I exclaimed.

"I can drive you home every day after school!" He said. I turned my head down. "wait, does this mean we're.. Back together?" I asked quietly.

"wel-"

i stopped, my phone was ringing. I answered it. It was my mom. I talked her for a little bit then hung up.

"So what were we talking about?" I said as we neared the end of the sidewalk. Piper called out.

"Guys you ready?" She asked.

"For what?" Asked Jack. "We're gonna go to StarBucks!" Said Thaliah. "Caffeine before bed? IM IN!" I sad happily. Annabeth came to my side. "Can you see the monsters because youre- a mermaid?" She whispered.

"Thats Jack's theory." I sad flatly. She looked around.

"Oh, guys i just remembered i forgot my.. Wallet."said Annabeth.

"Here ill come with you!" Volunteered Percy.

"No, its fine." Replied Annabeth. She walked back towards the school.

"Is that me or did Annabeth just blow me off!?" Whispered Percy to Nico.

"No" she wanted some time alone probably.

"Oh great" i said.

"What?" Asked Nico.

"You're turning into the old-you Annabeth warned me about!" I said jokingly. He smiled a little but turned away. Jack smiled and kept walking.

"You coming?" He asked.

"Yeah i just need to sort something out." I replied. I walked up to Barrett.

"Hey" he said awkwardly.

"Hey.." I said.

"Look, Barrett, just because we might have had something that isn't quite there anymore doesn't mean we cant be friends anymore." I said hopefully.

"Yeah right" he said sarcastically.

"Selena, i cant pretend like i don't like you anymore, its not an option" he blurted out.

"Barrett, i know, i think i liked you but. Im moving on and you should too" i replied. I squeezed his shoulder. He started walking, then breaking into a run.

"Where are you going!" I yelled.

"HOME! So i can cry into my pillow!" He yelled back.

"Barrett don't be like that!" I yelled but it was too late. He had turned the corner and was gone. Jack came up.

"Im sure He'll be fine" reassured Jack.

"Yeah" i said blankly. We continued walking. As we neared the corner he said,

"hey let me drive me home"

"Ok" i said blankly.

"Thaliah, im going home!" I yelled. He unlocked the door to his blue convertible and scooted over and pushed the door open. I slid in next to him. He started the ignition.

"Soo, I'm guessing he liked you?" He said casually. I stared ahead thinking about how this would damage our friendship.

"Hello." He waved his hand in front of my face.

"Oh, sorry" i said.

"No, we are just good friends, he was the first one i met" i said

"Turn left" i said, changing the subject. I saw my house in the darkness.

"Let me walk you in" he said. He pulled up into my drive-way. I un-locked the door.

"Goodnight" i sighed. My mom came up.

"Jack! Its been too long" she said surprised. She looked at me expectantly. I blushed.

"Well goodnight" i said firmly.

"No nonsense!" Said my mom, i groaned inside.

"Come on inside for a nice cup of tea." She said warmly.

"No, i really should be getting back to my apartment now, its late" he said smiling. I could tell he was helping me. He turned to leave.

"By" called my mom. She left. I ran out after Jack.

"Sorry," i said.

"Its alright" he said. There was a moment of awkward silence. I kissed him before running into my house. I ran to the window and waved good-bye as he drove away. My mom put her arms around me,

"Are you two back together?" She asked. I shrugged. She pulled me toward her for a hug. I slowly walked upstairs smiling. I shut the door to my bedroom. I squealed. My twin sister Serena stopped reading her book.

"What's wrong sis" she asked half-interested.

"Oh, only Jack is in New York!" I squealed. She dropped her book.

"EEK!" She and i yelled At the same time.

"I'm so happy for you!" She squealed i sighed and flopped down on the bed and closed my eyes.
