A/N: Here's an update for you guys. Sorry for the delay. I was staying at my boyfriend's house during the week and unfortunately no internet over there. Anyways, standard disclaimers apply.
Chapter 6: Intention
The concours participants were worried with how Len was acting towards the Kazuma guy.
"Tsukimori-kun…" Kahoko begun but the Kuran patriarch opened the door to Yuuna's room and told them that they can go in and see Yuuna.
Len readily went inside with Kanata close behind while the others followed them.
Kahoko stayed back when Kazuki noticed and called her attention.
"Kaho-chan?" He asked and the said girl just nodded and went inside with him.
Once everyone were inside, the Kuran couple looked at each of them before bowing.
"We apologize for making all of you worry. We weren't expecting for this to happen." Kaname told them while in a bow.
The students and Kanazawa-sensei were shocked not expecting them to say sorry.
"Uncle, Auntie there is nothing for you to apologize for." Len told them gently.
The couple then raised their heads and gave them a smile.
"I'm guessing Kanata already told you about Yuuna's condition." Yuuki said and they only nodded in response.
"I see. Less explanations then." Kaname said before looking at his son.
"I'm sure that Kanata here also told you what our doctor said. We know that Yuuna just joined the concours but please understand that we were advised to let her rest for a week. She can't do anything stressful like practices or rehearsals." Yuuki added.
"We understand Yuuki-sama. We only hope that Yuuna-chan would be okay and that she'll recover and get well soon." Kanazawa-sensei said.
"Thank you Kanazawa-kun. Don't worry too much. Yuuna will be back before you know it and she'll participate in the third selection." The Kuran matriarch said with a small smile.
"Don't worry as well Auntie. I'll bring Yuuna notes for our classes so she wouldn't worry about catching up." Len assured them.
"Thank you so much Len. We really appreciate it." Kaname told him just as Yuuna opened her eyes.
"Len?" Yuuna said as she tried to sit up and look for him.
"I'm here Yuuna." The said lad told her while assisting her with sitting up.
"I thought that it was all a dream and that I wouldn't see you again." She whispered to him.
"It's not a dream. I'm here and we'll never be apart again. I promise." He told her softly.
"Promise?" She asked with a hopeful expression.
"I promise." Len said with conviction.
Meanwhile the other concours participants were watching them with varying reactions.
Some found it sweet while others were annoyed, jealous or they didn't really care.
"Okaa-sama, Otou-sama is it okay for Len to stay here?" Yuuna then asked all of a sudden catching everyone's attention.
"If that is alright with him then we're fine with it." Her parents told her.
The youngest Kuran then looked at Len for confirmation just as the said lad nodded at her.
"That's great!" Yuuna exclaimed with a huge grin.
"Ano…would it really be fine? The concours just finished and I'm sure that Tsukimori-kun is tired especially with your duet." Kahoko spoke up.
Yuuna's grin then turned into a frown while she looked at the female second year.
"But Len said that its fine. If he's okay with it then you should be too, ne?" She said before continuing in a whisper, "Besides it's his decision not yours. Who are you anyway to tell him what to do? You're not his girlfriend or anything."
Len, being near her, heard her whispered words and can't help but think that perhaps she was being jealous.
He found it cute so he leaned close to her and whispered, "Jealous Yuuna? You know that you shouldn't be."
Yuuna then looked at him with a blush before denying it while he just chuckled at her and ruffled her hair in affection.
The other occupants of the room looked at them with a mixture of confusion and knowing looks.
Kahoko then felt embarrassed for suggesting such a thing so she just kept quiet, all the while Kazuki and the other participants of the concours were observing her in concern.
Feeling the tension in the room, Kanazawa-sensei spoke up trying to break it.
"It's getting late and I guess we should all be heading back. If Tsukimori-kun wants to stay it's okay. We should also let Yuuna-chan rest." He said.
"Right. It seems we forgot the time. No worries I'll tell our chauffeur to drive you all home. We wouldn't want you to travel this late at night." Yuuki replied before excusing herself to go outside and call their driver.
"I'll just go home to get some change of clothes and tell my parents that I would be staying over." Len told Yuuna.
"Of course. Tell Auntie and Uncle that I said hi and that I hope to see them soon for a visit." She replied with a smile.
The blue haired lad nodded and waited for Yuuki to return just as the Kuran matriarch came back and told them that the chauffeur was waiting outside the hospital for them.
Len then kissed Yuuna's forehead before leaving the room with the others.
"So what was that about Tsukimori? Is there something going on between you and Kuran?" Ryoutaro questioned while they were walking outside the hospital.
Len just narrowed his eyes at him before replying. "It's none of your business. Another thing, don't address Yuuna so informally because of the way she responded to Hino-san. If you're worried about her then why don't you go ahead and talk to Hino-san about it."
The tan male was about to retort when he continued, "Besides she was the one to start it. Yuuna just replied to her. She wasn't rude or anything. It wasn't her fault that Hino-san assumed things on her own."
"Why you…" Ryoutaro began but Kahoko spoke up interrupting him.
"It's okay Tsuchiura-kun. Kuran-san is right. No harm done." She said trying to assure him.
"Are you sure?" He asked just to be sure.
"Hai. I'm really okay." She told him with a fake smile.
Kazuki and Azuma noticed and frowned before thinking at the same time, 'She's not really okay.'
"Auntie you should just tell them to let her back out of the concours." Kazuma told her.
"I can't do that Kazuma. We both know that music is her life. Making her stop doing what she loves to do would only harm her in the end." Fumiko replied.
"But Auntie look at what happened?! She collapsed! She wasn't supposed to experience that anymore. She was fine when we were in Vienna. Why did they have to go back just because of Tsukimori?!" He said heatedly while his aunt kept quiet.
"So this is all about Len-sama." She said after a while.
Kazuma stayed silent while trying to calm down when she said that.
"Kazuma, Len-sama is what we need to help cure Yuuna-sama. She only went through those standstills when they were forced away from each other. We need them to stay together. Not tear them apart." She explained.
"As if." He scoffed.
"Don't interfere Kazuma. It's not your place to do so." She told him seriously.
"Not yet anyway." He said before leaving.
"I hope you know what you're doing Kazuma. What you're going to do will not only hurt her but yourself as well. I just pray that she wouldn't end up hating you for it." Fumiko whispered in the silent room.
A/N: Whew… A new chapter is done. I hope that you guys like it. Please let me know what you think of this chapter. Thank you.
