I've missed you Little Ducklings so much! *cries* I know excuses suck, but i won't be happy unless I tell you why I haven't updated in FOREVER! Okay, so I finished FMAB (Loved it!), but then i decided watching Teen Titans would be a good way to somewhat relive my time before anime, then I finished that and started a book series called Vampire Academy(though I still have the sixth book left), and then I got the rug to watch Blue Exorcist, and I still have OVA's to watch. I'm sorry! I've really missed you guys. Please don't kill me... Okay, so here's the chapter. Enjoy! ^_^
Disclaimer- I don't own Fairy Tail or Soul Eater.
Flashback!:
"Well child, it seems like you are in good hands," Makarov said.
"Yeah," Wendy smiled,"I really am, Master."
Erza spoke up,"Well, I'm sure you're tired Wendy. Go on to bed."
"Okay, Erza!" Wendy smiled and shut off the key.
"Where was the "-san"?" Happy asked, voicing everyone's thoughts.
Maka's P.O.V
I. Am. Going. TO KILL HIM!
I stomped down the street looking for my annoying weapon, keister, and boyfriend. Yup! After being shoved into a closet by Liz and Patty, me and Soul got together. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. He cared for me when I was sick, cooked, and his attitude towards life improved. He had started opening up about his family and even started playing the piano for people other then me. We were happy. Well, I wasn't right now. That idiot had let Blair cook is the kitchen, thinking she'd really gotten better, and didn't clean up after she blackened EVERYTHING. I was a little irked at Blair, but no matter what form she's in, she's a cat, and she really didn't know better. On the other hand, Soul knew what had happened, and still ran out. All while I slept. How did I know this? Blair told me. She is my cat after all. So after I cleaned up the kitchen and made edible breakfast for Blair and I, I set out on a man hunt for Soul. Thankfully, it's a teacher workday, so we have no school.
While I was hunting for Soul, I didn't even notice I bumped into someone.
"Sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going. Are you alright?" I asked immediately, not seeing the persons face yet. Don't judge me; I was raging.
"I'm fine. Thanks for asking, Maka?" I looked down at the voice that belonged to the person I bumped into.
"Wendy! I'm sorry. How are you?" I asked, holding out a hand to help her up.
Wendy accepted my hand and hauled herself up,"I'm fine! It's nice to see you again. We haven't seen each other since the night we met."
"Yeah. I've been a little busy," I said, rubbing the back of my head.
"Haha! It's okay," Wendy said, looking down.
I looked at her and smiled,"How are you getting used to Death City?"
"It's good. Everyone is kinder then I thought, and it's not scary at all!" Wendy replied, looking happy. I took in her attire for the first time. Instead of the cute little dress she'd been wearing when she got here, she was wearing a blue shirt with green polka dots, light blue jeans, and white sneakers.
"You look like you've lived here all your life," I said, hinting at her clothes.
Wendy blushed and looked down," I figured my dress would make me stick out. Plus, these clothes are really comfy!"
I laughed," They are, aren't they."
"Wendy, there you are!" A voice said behind us. We turned around to see her cat, Charle.
"Hi Charle," I greeted the beautiful white cat with wings. She still had the same clothed on the had when we met, but then again, how much clothes are there for flying cats?
"Oh, hello Maka. Where's that boy who was with you when we met. What's his name... Ah, Soul," Charle asked. Wendy looked up, curious as well.
At the mention of Soul, I grew furious once more,"Probably hiding like the idiot he is."
"What did he do?" Wendy asked, tilting her head.
I sighed and decided to explain what had happened while I slept.
"That is one stupid guy," Charle said.
Wendy nodded,"Yeah! He really should've cleaned up!"
"Thank you!" I nearly shouted.
"Want me to sniff him out?" Wendy asked.
I froze for a second, then looked at her strangely,"What?"
"I'm a dragon slayer, and we have really good noses. I might not be as good as Natsu or Gajeel, but if you have something of his, I can teach him," Wendy said looking hopeful. I didn't want to crush that look by saying I could follow his soul wavelength.
"Okay, go ahead," I said handing her Soul's headband, which he left in his rush to escape me.
Wendy sniffed the headband, then sniffed the air, and headed in Soul's direction. I followed her as she lead me closer to the idiot. Since we were still a little away, I decided to take a look at Wendy's soul. It was a friendly one. Light blue with a bow. Like Tsubaki's, it had a kind, almost shy, smile. One thing that caught my attention was the dragon scales that radiated magic. It wasn't witches magic. Witches magic has an almost cold feel to it, where as this one has a warm, almost healing, feel to it. I smiled but then noticed something. There was what looked like a healing scar on the soul, as if Wendy had been through something that impacted her for life. She was a lot like those of us at the D.W.M.A. Scarred. As I turned off my Soul Perception, I felt a new respect for Wendy.
"We're here, Maka," Wendy said.
I looked over to find Soul on a swing, looking relieved, "Thanks Wendy..."
Taking out my book, I hid my soul wavelength so I could sneak upon Soul.
"MAKACHOP!" I screamed, slamming my giant, hard covered book into Soul's skull.
"Gahh!" He yelled, falling over clutching his head,"What was that for?"
I rolled my eyes, "You know what. Now come on, lets go home." I held my hand out to help him up.
"Geez, sorry," he said taking my hand.
"It's okay, just clean up next time," I turned away, then remembered Wendy and turned back around,"Thanks Wendy and Charle! You guys feel free to come over anytime!"
As I turned around, Wendy had a look of awe on her face. The last thing from that direction I heard was Charle saying,"They're a stranger couple then Natsu and Lucy."
Lord Death's P.O.V
Oh! So the foreign girl is getting used to being here. I can't wait to meet her!
"Spirit!~" I called.
My Death Scythe looked up,"Yeah Lord Death?"
"In the next chapter, Iim going to meet the young girl that recently came to town, Wendy." I declared.
