Just saying hi
Is it Friday yet? I do NOT like school. Being a teenager was the worst in Pleasantview. Kids are forced to go to school year-round. How is that even fair? I walked into my room and sat down at my desk. The worst thing about school (besides waking up at ungodly hours in the morning) is the homework. Every single day they give work to do in the same freakin' blue notebook! I sighed and grumbled to myself as I started scribbling random things in the notebook. And to make matters worse, it was about 12:30 in the morning.
I was about halfway through my homework when I decided this was too boring and I've had enough. I slammed the notebook shut and left my room. Glancing, at my parent's room I smiled. They were asleep. Maybe this once I can actually sneak out without being stopped by my parents! I silently snuck out of the door and stopped. Where was I going to go? None of my friends are as cool as me; they'd all be asleep. I finally decided to go visit my new next door neighbors. Yeah living on the edge, right? They moved in a couple of days ago and I never even got to say hello. I got in my car and drove about 100 feet because if I walk I'll probably get arrested for being a couple of inches off of my own lot. It's weird how the police ALWAYS know you're out past curfew. Whatever, they won't catch me. I'm only next door.
I bound up the stairs and rang the doorbell. I heard a couple of voices inside that sounded very surprised that they heard the doorbell ring at such a late (early?) hour. An hour later a man came outside. I didn't really know what took him so long to come to the door, but I had nothing better to do then to just wait.
Before I even got a chance to say hello a red bubble just kind off appeared above his head indicating he was starving. He held his stomach and pointed to his mouth and as usual, waved to the sky. After that he just spontaneously turned into dust and it just kind of just settled in one spot. I just stood there because I had absolutely NO clue what to do. Suddenly the terrifyingly loud death music plays out of nowhere and the Grimm Reaper shows up with his axe and just stares at the pile of dust.
Suddenly his wife comes bursting outside and sees me standing over a pile the dust of her dead husband while also standing next to the Grimm Reaper. I could tell how bad this looked. It's not what it looks like! The lady didn't even notice that I was there she just cried. I guess the Grimm Reaper didn't want any of this drama so he kind of just sauntered his way inside of the house.
The only thing more frightening than the death music, is the police music. I almost jumped out of my skin when I heard it. I turned around and sure enough there was a policeman standing there and waiting for me to get into his car. I realized I couldn't do anything about it, so I ran across the lawn and got into his car. He drove ALL the way next door and dropped me off and said something about him never wanting to catch me out after curfew ever again. I turned around and suddenly I saw my both my parents standing there. Great. Of course they knew I was out. I knew two big lectures were coming my way and deiced, yep, life in Pleasantview as a teenager is SO unfair.
Authors note: I can't make this stuff up. This actually happened to my teen Sim. She goes next door, sees a guy die and then she gets arrested for being out past curfew. It was so funny though. Well I hope every enjoyed this chapter of Sims Chronicles and maybe perhaps pretty please leave a review? :D Thanks!
