Now we move to initiation, that'll be fun. Some Grimm will go flying, some partnerships will be formed and more than likely, their will be some fun. I'm not sure if I have to make this a two or three parter or not, but there is only one way to find out.
Ch.6 The Initiation Part 1
"Woooooooooohooooooooooo!" was all Aang thought of saying as he dived through the air, Momo flying right beside him as they along with the other first years were just launched towards the Emerald Forest.
The Avatar then activated his glider as he made a swift landing on a nearby tree. Momo landed on his shoulder as he looked to see that Danny and Big Chill landed not far from them. That was when Aang noticed Rex.
Rex, who still had his Smack Hands and Punk Busters out was going straight down to the ground. The moment he hit the ground, a mild shockwave was created through the area.
"Show-off," Ben, who was now as one of his original forms, Cannonbolt, said as Danny hovered beside him.
"You think Aang will find him, or will he be looking for Yang?" Danny asked with a smirk.
"Who knows," Cannonbolt responded, "but let's go find those relics. He then formed into a ball and started to roll out, the Halfa flying right behind him.
Back with Aang, he and Momo had just made to the ground as he began walking, senses on high alert as he knows there are Grimm in the woods.
Rex on the otherhand, was having his fun as he was currently slicing through Beowolves that were charging at him. "Any of you guys seen a kid with black hair with a blue arrow on his forehead?"
The Grimm only snarled as they charged him again. "Alright," Rex said as he formed his Bad Axes and chopped two in the head, "what about an insanely attractive blonde with yellow gauntlets and sweet shades." He was then charged by an Alpha Beowolf, making Rex sigh. "To bad you can't just say no," Rex formed a Smack Hand on his right hand before slamming it into the skull of the Alpha, killing it almost interesting.
Two more were about to attack the EVO from behind, but one was immediately taken down with a head shot while the other was impaled by a piece of rock coming out of the ground. Rex knew immediately who that was. "I had that Aang."
"Sure you did," Aang said as he came out of the brush. "I just made your job easier."
Rex smirked. "So I guess this makes us partners."
"Yeah," Aang said as he formed an air scooter, "let's go!" He then headed out while Rex formed his Rex Rider and followed close behind him.
Meanwhile with Cannonbolt and Danny, they were tearing through the forest, heading whatever direction they were going before Danny noticed the Beowolf with its back turned, and Cannonbolt was heading right at it. "Uh Ben, you might want to hit the breaks," Danny told his friend.
Before Cannonbolt could respond, he crashed right into the Beowolf, running it over before he uncurled himself and unintentionally backhanded another one. That's when he noticed that Weiss was standing right beside him.
"Oh, hey Weiss," Cannonbolt said as he saw the white haired girl look at him wide-eyed.
"Uhhh, what the hell are you!?" Weiss exclaimed.
Danny then floated down beside the both of them before shooting an ectoblast at an incoming Beowolf. The three then looked around to see "Ben, you might need to change something else," Danny suggested.
"You probably right," Cannonbolt nodded.
"How many forms do you have?" Weiss asked, she saw Ben change into the blue moth man, and is currently seeing him as a living bowling ball..
"You'll just have to find out," Cannonbolt said with a smirk as a flash of green then took him over.
With Rex and Aang, they were just walking through the woods, having decided to not cause such a ruckus, and were trying to get a good idea of where to go when Aang suddenly stopped. "Uh Aang, why you stop?" Rex asked.
"You might want to put up a Block Party, pointing to your right," Aang said as he pointed to his left. Once he said that, several trees exploded as a Ursa was flying right at them. Instead of forming his Block Party, Rex formed his BFS and sliced the Grimm in half.
"That works too," Aang said as they both then looked past where the Ursa came from and saw Yang getting ready to fight a second one. Just as they were about to go at it, the Ursa dropped to the ground dead, revealing the girl Danny may have an interest in.
They then walked up to them just to hear Yang say, "I could've taken him."
"You probably could've," Rex said gaining the two girls attention.
"Oh hey Mech! Arrowhead!" Yang greeted. "Did you see that?" she asked as she pointed at the destruction she caused.
Aang nodded. "Yeah, the Ursa was flying at us and the Rex sliced it in half."
"That sounds awesome!" Yang said.
Rex smirked. "Yeah, it was pretty cool."
"As much as I'm enjoying this conversation," said Blake, the girl who's actually a cat faunus. "We should probably get to the relics."
"I agree," Aang said as he started to walk off.
Back with Danny, Weiss, and Ben, who was now Spider Monkey, were standing back to back as they were holding back the surrounding Grimm. "Well, this has been a fun initiation," Danny said sarcastically as he shot several ectoblasts towards Beowolves.
"You said it Danny," Spider Monkey replied as he double right hooked one Beowolf before uppercutting another. They both then notice that Weiss was getting in a stance. "What the hell is she doing?"
Danny shrugged as he ecto-punched another Grimm back into the pack. "I think she's taking a stance, and she's taking to long to do it."
"How so?" Spider Monkey asked as he webbed up a Grimm before swinging it into more.
Danny looked at a red and black blur quickly approaching. "Because there comes Ruby."
Weiss then charged at the Grimm infront of her, but was cut off when Ruby beat her to it. This made Weiss point her sword in a different direction, making fire dust strike a tree and setting it on fire. Ruby then noticed what happened and was slash back into Weiss.
"Hey, watch it!" Ruby said as she regained her footing.
Weiss was starting to get crabby again. "Excuse me! You attacked out of turn. I could've killed you!"
"Well you didn't," Spider Monkey told her.
"Beside if you're gonna take a stance in a battle like this, make it faster." Danny commented.
That's when a flaming tree landed right infront of some of the Grimm.
"We have to go." Weiss told the other three.
"Alright," Spider Monkey said as in a flash of green, XLR8 was in his place, and he raced up, grabbed Weiss and took off. Danny then flew down and grabbed Ruby as the fire was starting to spread.
When they were far enough, XLR8 let Weiss down and Ruby was sat down by Danny. That's when Ruby looked at Weiss. "What was that!? That should have been easy!"
"That is true," Ben, now back to normal, agreed.
"Well perhaps if you have exercised even the smallest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes," Weiss said to Ruby, "I wouldn't have sent the forest on fire!"
"Should we just let them go at it?" Danny asked Ben in a whisper as the two girls argued.
Ben nodded. "Sure, why not? I actually wonder who would win anyway." They then turned back to the argument.
"Well congratulations on being the strongest child to ever sneak your way into Beacon," Weiss said as she started to walk off. "Bravo."
Then out of anger, Ruby sliced perfectly through a tree, causing it fall right next to where Danny and Ben were standing. Ruby noticed and immediately looked guilty, Danny seemed to notice.
"Don't worry red, if that was gonna fall on us, I would have just turned us intangible." Danny told her.
"Also, don't let her get to you like that, she seems like the person who just likes to point out everyone else's mistakes yet doesn't even realizes her own." Ben added.
"Alright," Ruby told them.
"Then let's go see where Mrs. Crabby went off to." Ben said as the three friends then went after Ruby's partner, yet they all failed to notice a large black feather land behind them.
Well, that is the end of this chapter, so that means that this will he a two parter. Also, I'm gonna let you guys know something, characters from the four heroes original shows will be coming to Remnant in Volume 2. Just thought I'd let you know that.
