*Flashback*

They broke the curse the three evil queens had placed and somehow got brought back to the enchanted forest, everyone came this time including Emma and Henry.

Regina and Robin had moved into the castle while the others relocated to castles not too far from them. Robin insisted that their family go for a little picnic. Henry and Roland were playing in the lake together while the girls who had just turned one were waddling all over the place, always together, never apart.

Regina sighed, this is how life could be, this was her happy ending, she smiled a little as Alex fell on the ground then Avery tried to help her up but she too fell.

"We make some beautiful children, don't you think?" Robin asked his blue eyes sparkling

"Yes, we do." Regina said smiling, he leant over and kissed her lips, just a brief kiss and nothing more. They both watched all four of the children, Henry decided to take the twins in the lake and the twins enjoyed it smiling, and splashing like crazy, Roland was a little older now, eight years old while Henry was sixteen.

"They grow up so fast." Regina mumbled, Robin looked at her, her hair was shoulder length and she had opted for a more casual look instead of the whole queen attire. He pulled her in between his legs and she leant back against his chest her hand rested on his knee and his on hers. This moment was picture perfect.

"Who knows, maybe we could make more." Robin said, Regina immediately turned around

"You want more children?" she asked shocked, he chuckled

"I want as many children with you as I could possible get, milady." Robin spoke softly, there it was, Milady, every time he said that word it ignited something in her. She smiled and kissed him more deeply now, but something caught her eye, she pulled back and looked behind them she saw a woman in a blue dress her long blonde hair flowing in the wind.

"The author." Regina mumbled, Robin tried to turn around but Regina placed two hands on his cheeks and kissed him, tears already filling her eyes, she had thought that maybe, maybe the author couldn't do this to her in the enchanted forest.

"Regina, what's wrong?" he asked looking up at her, eyes overflowing with sadness, he tried to turn around but she wouldn't let him.

"Nothing. Nothing is wrong." Regina lied, she took a deep breath. "It's just you saying that you want more children, I'm happy Robin." Regina said standing up

"Where are you going then?" Robin asked

"Uhm, I just need to check up on Snow, she had asked to call her and tell her what we're doing." Regina lied, Robin looked at her, she was totally lying but she always had her reasons, he nodded.

"Dad!" Henry yelled, "Come in! The water is perfect!" he said clutching Avery in his arms while Roland had Alex in his. Robin smiled kissed Regina and ran into the lake with his children. Regina paused, then made her way to the trees where the author was. She didn't look like the type who had magic, but with one look in her eyes you could find that darkness that destroyed her once pure soul.

"Regina." the author said shaking her head. "What do you think you're doing?" she asked with her hands on her hips.

"I'm with my family, what is it that you want?" Regina growled

"Oh I wouldn't have that tone dear, now, I gave you a year with your precious family and it is up." The author said

"But, we aren't in Storybrooke and-"

"Oh dear, that doesn't matter, my deals are to be followed through all realms."

"But you didn't say that." Regina said

"Do I really have to? I can easily force you to kill your own children." The author said twirling the pen in between her fingers

"Please." Regina begged

"I'll tell you this, you have till the break of day tomorrow and then you must leave with one of the girls, or your husband and family will see exactly how evil you can be." The author snapped, Regina gasped.

"Oh and don't bother telling anyone about this, this will only fuel my even greater rage for you." The author said

"There must be something else you want from me, anything please just not my family." Regina begged again, she hated how vulnerable she felt but she'd rather feel vulnerable then lose her family.

"That's just it Regina, I want your happiness." The blonde said with a wicked grin

"What have I ever done to you?" Regina asked

"More like what haven't you done, you spoiled brat." The author hissed, she turned her back then wrote something in her book then vanished. Regina stood there unable to move, her happiness was being taken away again. She slowly turned around and leant against the tree watching her little family splash and play in the water. Tears formed in her eyes and trickled down her face, it was happening and she couldn't stop it.

Robin had begged her to not make them leave but she had, he couldn't understand why she was doing this, they were happily married and had their own children, she never wanted this but she needed to have her little family alive even if it would be broken. She looked from the balcony of their bedroom as he and Roland got into the carriage and heard a screaming infant, Alex. Henry had left and went back to Snow's castle and Avery was in her arm fusing, like she knew her sister was leaving her.

"Shhhhhhhhh, baby it's okay." Regina said choking on her words, her heart was breaking. Avery started screaming.

"Please Avery, everything will be okay." Regina said bouncing her, Avery continued to cry.

"I know hunny." Regina said rocking her screaming infant, she saw the carriage pass through the gates and into the forest. She bit her lip, he was gone.
