I ALSO KNOW THAT THE CHARACTERS DO SEEM A LITTLE OUT OF CHARACTER BUT I DO TRY TO GET THEM RIGHT. AS FOR JIRO/GARULU OF THE FUTURE I DO HAVE HIM NOT LIKING TAIGA BUT NOT BECAUSE HE IS THE FANGIRE KING BUT BECAUSE HE IS MARRIED TO WATARU AND JIRO IS VERY PROTECTIVE OF WATARU AND HIS DAUGHTER MEGUMI.
I AM IN THE PROCESS OF REWATCHING KAMEN RIDER KIVA AT THE MOMENT TO GET SOME IDEAS. FOR THE RECORDED EPISDODE 39 TO THE END OF THE SERIES DID NOT HAPPEN.

Chapter 6
Wataru let out a groan and rolled her eyes at what her father was doing that had caused him to get hit by her mother. The young half-human knew that her mother had a strong swing and a smack when she was mad.
Wataru was watching her parents along with Megumi's parents from a distance behind a tree in the park they were in. She still couldn't believe that Jiro was Megumi's father but she knew that her favorite Guardian did have two children with a human and left them to keep them safe but who would have thought that one of them would have been Megumi who had been trained to hunt and kill Fangires just like her mother. Wataru had a feeling that Jiro had a say in that.
Jiro looked out of the corner of his eyes to see a figure in the distance and by the scent that was coming from the area it was the girl that he and the others had met yesterday at the park when she was playing her violin. The Wolfen knew right away from the first time he had seen this girl that she wasn't what she appeared to be. The girl reeked of Human but Fangire as well but not just any scent of Fangire but one that belonged to The Checkmate Four.
If this girl was here to hurt his family or Otoya's family, then Jiro would make the girl's life a living hell for no one ever hurt those that he cared for as he had already lost enough of those he cared about.
Yuri looked over to her husband and knew right away that he was in Wolfen mode which was only something that he did when he thought that there was a threat to her or his children. Jiro really did take the mantle of being a protector due to his race being canine like.
Yuri could see that her husband was looking in the trees where do to her training as a Fangire Hunter she could see a figure of a girl. It was the same girl they she had met in the park the other day. Yuri couldn't help but feel that there was something strange about this girl but what was it? Was this girl a Fangire or something else?"
Before anyone could say anything, a loud boom was heard in the park near them. Jiro stood in front of his wife and children as well as Maya while Otoya pulled out The Ixa Belt and Buckle.
Wataru held her breath in fear of what was going to happen hoping it wasn't Knight.
Jiro and Otoya watch as a figure appeared out of the smoke and dust. The figure had the shape of a human but you tell that it was not human. As the smoke cleared everyone got a clear view of what the figure was.
The figure had the head of a horse but unlike horses that looked gentle, this horse's head looked evil to the point that it scared Maya who was afraid of nothing. Blood dripped from the fangs the creature had and sharp claws adorned the hands as well as sharp claws on the feet. All in all the creature screamed Fangire but was so human looking.
"Who are you?" Maya demanded. She may be in a relationship with a human but she was still Queen of The Fangires and as such all Fangires still had to obey her.
The human-like Fangire just grinned before it spoke. "My name is one that is not very known since in The Fangire but when it is heard everyone flees." The Fangire replied in a sweet but demonic voice. "I am called Knight and I here to kill the next Fangire Queen."
With saying that Knight charged at the group which thankfully Otoya had enough time to transform into Ixa before The Fangire reached Maya which Jiro had grabbed and put behind him.
Otoya launched himself at Knight only to get thrown back by a powerful kick in the stomach. Knight once again walked towards Maya who now had Yuri front of her as Jiro had transformed into his Wolfen form and started his attack on Knight.
Jiro lasted a little bit longer than Otoya but he was also thrown aside like a rag doll. Maya's eyes went wide as she had never a Fangire other than King with so much power. This monster was after her unborn child which she now knew was going to be a girl.
"Oh, two for the price of one." Knight replied with glee as he showed his teeth when he smiled as he walked towards Maya and Yuri.
Suddenly out of nowhere a figure appeared and knocked Knight away the two woman who ran over to the men when they had the chance.
"Are you both okay?" Maya asked as she helped Otoya up who was holding his stomach a little bit as he gave Maya a look that said he would live.
Jiro as best that he could in his current form gave his wife a look that told her he was okay. He looked over to where he could see Knight fighting with someone who was winning. Jiro saw the newcomer land a punch in Knight's face which sent The Fangire to the ground so hard that there was a dent from where The Fangire had landed.
Knight let out a growl as he got up off the ground to launch an attack at who was fighting him. He had seen the figure that he was fighting from his few visits in the future and knew that he was fighting the half-breed future Queen of The Fangires who bore The Kiva Armor who could hold her own in battle without those stupid Darkness Pledged Fangires helping her.
Wataru could see that Knight was getting ready to do another attack, so she got ready to do her kick when she was knocked to the ground by non other than Knight who she now realized had the power to create a illusion of himself when he needed it.
Knight let out a growl as he lowered his face to the helmet of Kiva who he knew was glaring at him from behind the mask. "Let this be a lesson to you, Little One, stay out of my way and I might let your friends live." Knight growled out in a venomous voice before he grabbed Kiva's helmet and slammed it so hard into the ground that the helmet was imbedded in the dirt. Knight disappeared in a flash of smoke.
Wataru let out a cough and groan as she tried to get up off the ground. Knight truly was someone to fear. Using the last bit of her strength Wataru managed to sit up but she couldn't get her body to stand up. The Fangire Queen of the 21th century turned her head when she saw four figure coming towards her in an attempt her help her as she could see it in their faces well as best as you with Jiro since he was still in his Wolfen form.
"Hey, are you alright?" Yuri asked as she was the first one to reach what was most certainly someone who was a Fangire based on how powerful who ever was under the mask.
"I will be. But could please give me a hand up as I can't move my legs on my own to stand up." Wataru replied as she felt Yuri and Jiro each take on off her arms and gently pull her to her feet where the second she was on them she started to fall to the ground again if it had not been for Jiro who had now turned human but was still strong outside of being a Wolfen.
As Jiro caught the Kiva Armor wearer he caught a the scent of the young girl from the part. There was no mistaking what he now knew. The one behind The Kiva Armor was a human/Fangire hybrid that wasn't there to hurt anyone but to fight Knight and who had taken a beating fighting that monster of a Fangire. Jiro knew that even though his clan was hated by the Fangire that The Fangires would never go after someone who was with child or go after a child in general. Not even Rook in his time plays went after children as when The Wolfen, Franken and Merman clans had all been wiped out none of the clans had young at all. Knight had no problem going after Maya even though she was The Fangire Queen at the moment and pregnant even though she wasn't even showing yet.
Yuri took the wounded person's arm and swung it over her shoulder to give her support as did Jiro who was giving her a look. Yuri knew that she was helping a Fangire but one who had saved them and had gotten beat down to the point that they could barely stand with out help.
"Maya-Sama!"
The five people in the park turned to see a man dressed as a priest coming towards them in a hurry followed by what looked to be other humans but were dressed strange.
The two humans ran as fast as they could to where Yuri and Jiro were at and Kiva who was still having a hard time standing. It was very obvious to everyone that these humans were friends with who ever was under the armor and did care about them.
"Maya-Sama, are you alright?" The priest asked as everyone knew that this was Bishop of the Checkmate Four.
"I am unhurt thanks to everyone here and who is under this Armor." Maya replied in a kind voice. She may not be completely fond of Bishop as he did take his job a little to seriously but he had supported her when she started a relationship with Otoya and kept an eye on her from time to time.
"Thank goodness! When we got word that Knight had returned and was after you, everyone grew concerned." Bishop replied as he caught his breath.
"Who the Hell is this Knight?" Otoya yelled as he deactivated Ixa and stared the Fangire in the face. He like Maya didn't like Bishop but did have a small amount of respect for him for what he did when Maya found out she was pregnant and the fact that he did look out for Maya when he couldn't.
"Knight is what you humans would call the Boogeyman of The Fangire that even The Kings fears. He does not play by the rules and kills for the fun and also doesn't care who he hurts. Rook is nice compared to Knight." Bishop replied.
"How did you find out that Knight had awakened?" Jiro asked as he glared at the Fangire while keeping an eye on Kiva and the humans helping her.
"Someone from the future who came back to help us and is both human and Fangire." Bishop replied as he nodded his head to behind the group so that they could see the young woman from the future who was starting transform out of The Kiva Armor.
Wataru could feel that Kivat could not keep the armor on much longer so she told them through the mind link they shared to disengage from the belt.
Everyone from the past eyes went wide at who was behind the armor. It was the girl who they had met in the park yesterday. The two humans, one was male and a little older then her and the other was a woman who was the same age kept her from falling.
Bishop cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. Once he had that. "Allow me to introduce you Wataru Nobori, The Queen of The Fangires in 2008 and Taiga-Sama's wife." Bishop told the group as he watched Keisuke Nago and Megumi Aso who Bishop knew just by looking at her that she was the grown up daughter of The Wolfen help keep Wataru from falling down. The two humans had arrived less than an hour ago via a Time Gate with a full grown Taiga and had order the two to help Wataru as Taiga would work with his father on something that was of great importance involving The Fangire and birth of the future Fangire Queen.
Bishop did not like working with humans as they were still food to him but he did protect his Queen do to the fact he that could tell that the child growing in her would be very powerful in their way which Bishop could see right now was true as the half-human daughter of Maya was able to wear an Kiva armor with out any side effects happening and was able to survive a fight with one of the most deadliest Fangires that could be reborn every so many generations.
Otoya looked at the young girl that had saved his life. This young girl was his daughter who was just like him when it came to music. Otoya could see a part of himself in this girl but most of what he saw was Maya. His daughter from the future was someone he would be proud of.
Maya looked at the young girl who had taken quite a beating. The Queen could see that even with The Kiva Armor that there were some injuries that even Fangires could get. Maya couldn't get over the fact that the child growing in her was going to be able to wear The Kiva Armor.
"Wataru, can you walk?" Megumi asked as she could see that her friend was have a hard time walking even with her and Keisuke's help.
"I think so." Wataru replied as she started to walk only to start to fall again.
Keisuke Nago had enough watching his friend whose pride was getting in the way of her asking for help. The Ixa user gently grabbed his friend and put her into his arms in a bridal style which caused Wataru to complain at what was happening.
"Save it Wataru. You are in no shape to walk on your own." Keisuke grunted as Wataru hit him in the chest but not hard as he started walking towards Bishop who had motioned for everyone to follow him.
"Where are we going?" Jiro asked as he was very cautious about following Bishop to an unknown place.
"A place that everyone can talk without fighting." Bishop replied without turning his head towards the Wolfen who he knew was glaring at him.
After walking for about a half hour, the group was lead to a clearing that Jiro knew right away. The place that Bishop had brought them to was one of the most holiest places for all the races. Not even The Kings of Fangires could fight here.
"I can see that you are telling the truth." Jiro replied as he still kept an eye on Bishop.
"What do you mean?" Megumi asked as she watched Keisuke put Wataru who had fallen asleep down on one of the wood benches and start to clean and treat the wounds he could.
"This place is what you would call Sanctuary. It is a holy place even in this day that all races respect as there can be no fighting at from anyone in this area. This place is the best choice to talk about what is going on given who all is involved." Bishop replied as he glared at The Wolfen's daughter who glared at him back with just as much fierceness as her father would.
"That would be correct." A voice said from behind the group who all turned with Megumi and Keisuke standing in front of a still out cold Wataru.
The voice belong to a man who in his early 20s dressed in white with a black glove on one hand. Beside him was who everyone was the current Fangire King in this time period.
"Taiga! Have you been able to find anything out about Knight?" Megumi asked as she was glared at by King and Bishop for not showing respect to a member of a The Royal Family of Fangires.
"Not much as from what Father has told me is that when Knight appears he is almost killed right away to prevent any damages from happening." Taiga replied before he walked over to where Wataru was and sat down by her but not before giving Keisuke a look that said thank you.
"Would someone please tell me what the HELL is going on cause my head feels like it is about to blow up with everything that is happening!" Otoya yelled out and for once didn't get smacked in the head by Maya or anyone else.
Taiga let out a long sigh before he began to explain everything about why he and everyone else was here.
"So let me get this straight. Aso-san and Nago-San are Fangire hunters who by pure chance in the future befriend my daughter who can transform into Kiva and is the Queen of the Fangires in their time but are willing to help her protect Fangires." Otoya asked as he was still trying to get his mind around the fact that his daughter was going to a Fangire Queen but then again he was almost married to the Fangire Queen.
"To be truthful, when we met her we had no idea that she was Kiva and when we did find out that she was Kiva it was only a short while ago and that was because we came back here to this time to help her." Megumi replied out. Megumi remember Wataru saying that her mother once told her that her father could be an idiot at times and turns out it was true.
Taiga face-palmed at what was going on. How in the heck could this human standing a few feet in front of him be his wife's father? This man truly was an idiot.
The current King of The Fangires was not happy that he would be working humans especially Fangire hunters but as King he did have the duty to protect his people since Knight didn't care who was hurt or he fed on. Given the fact the half-human daughter of his Queen who was herself a Queen had come back to the past to protect Taiga who seemed to be Knight's target showed something.
"There is not much on Knight since he is destroyed almost the moment he awakens which also when he starts his killing spree." Taiga explained as he looked through everything in the library which was a lot of books and papers.
"There is however something that may be of use given the fact that Knight had awakened." King spoke as he looked at the group. He wanted nothing more than to just feed on everyone that wasn't a Fangire and kill The Wolfen but as he thought earlier, the time travelers from the future were willing to work with Fangires to save the future.
"What would that be?" Keisuke asked, still not believing that he was going to be working with not one BUT two Fangire Kings.
"Every time Knight has awaken there has been some strange event in either for The Fangires or The Humans. Most of the time it is with The Fangires." The Blond King pointed out as he leaned against the side of mountain looking bored.
Jiro opened his mouth to try and speak when the ground began shaking in a unnatural way. Everyone grabbed on to someone. Jiro grabbed on to Yuri while Otoya grabbed Maya. Taiga made sure that Wataru was safe while Keisuke grabbed Megumi.
"What the hell is going on?!"
Before anyone could speak, a bright light appeared in the sky with the symbol of the Fangires. Jiro do to his Wolfen nature stood in front of his wife as did the other males in the group as everyone knew something or someone was going to come out of that portal. But The Wolfen didn't expect what really came out of the sky.
In what appeared to be a flash of light, three figures dropped to the ground in a pile with a loud thud and some cursing coming from one member of the group. Upon closer look you could tell that the three figures were most certainly not humans.
"Will you get your fins out of my face Basshaa before I rip them off!" A dog-like voice growl/snarled out.
"Give me a break Garulu. I would love to be able to get off you but if you would look up from the ground where your head is you would see that Dogga is on top of me and as you should know that this Franken is not the lightest creature to exist." A voice that sound like a child's replied with a groan as if he was in pain.
"DOGGA, GET OFF OF US!"
The humans watched as the largest of the figures got up from the pile and helped the other two up. Jiro and Otoya let out a gasp at what they saw. Jiro was looking at himself as well and Riki and Ramon in their true forms but what were they doing here and why?
"Oh man! As if this can't get any worse! Not I have to deal with a dog, a fish and something that looks like a lab experiment gone wrong." Taiga groaned as he got glared at by the three newcomers.
"What are you guys doing here?" Megumi asked shocked that the three Fangires that had taken care of Wataru were in the past.
"Castle Doran is going crazy for some reason and threw us through the time gate which I will tell you is not the gentlest of rides." Basshaa relied as he cracked his neck to get rid of some kinks that he had gotten when he had fallen.
"It would seem that there is more to what it going one than everyone thought." Garulu replied as he walked over to where Taiga was and pushed him out of the way to sit down beside Wataru who was still out cold.
"Care to tell us." Taiga asked as he gout up off of the ground where The Wolfen had pushed him.
"Upon thinking back to some stories I used to hear as a child as well as Basshaa and Dogga did as well, we have come to the conclusion that Knight does appear when something happened in the Fangire world but is also tied to the human world as well." The Wolfen explained. "Each time Knight has appeared it has something to do with the new Checkmate Four."
"And what would that be?" King demanded.
"The birth of a half-Fangire Queen as well as the birth of a future Fangire King of both Human and Fangire blood." Basshaa pointed out as he looked to Wataru and then to Maya.
It took a few moments for what The Merman had just said to sink in before Keisuke made a move towards Taiga in yet another attempt to strangle him only to once again be stopped by who he thought was Riki in his Fangire form.
Taiga for the moment was unable to understand what was just said until he remembered that Wataru had been throwing up quite a bit in the past few weeks and was not eating like she should have. Then it hit The Fangire King of the 21th century like a ton of bricks that his wife was pregnant and that Knight was trying stop both Wataru from being born and her child who like The Merman had said would be of both human and Fangire blood.
"Finally! The idiot gets it." Garulu snarks out. He knew that once Wataru was awake that she was going to get yelled at by Taiga as well as him even thought he knew that his charge was carrying a child inside of her when she started this mission but the fact that made The Wolfen mad beyond reason was the fact that Wataru had become Kiva and had taken a beating by Knight.
Megumi resisted the urge to face-palm at the sight of what was going on. Although the Fangire hunter knew that her boyfriend was going to be involved in a yelling match or more than likely a fight with Taiga and then Keisuke would giving Wataru one hell of a scream fest which would be on of many.
"Might I suggest that we form a slight truce at the moment. At least until this Knight is taken care of." Otoya suggested as he could feel the tension in the area and it was mostly from the ones from the future.
King gave the human a look. As much as he hated the idea of working with humans, The Blond Fangire King knew that this was his best shot at keeping his people safe and his Queen's child who even though had a human father was willing when she was carrying a child to come back in time to save Taiga thinking that he was the one that Knight was after but wasn't. Besides, The Fangire King of 1986 knew that Knight would even kill his own kind no matter the age just for the fun of it. King may be a Fangire but even he wouldn't hurt a human child.
"As much as I hate to say and do this, I do believe that this is the right choice as it would benefit all of us and both races." King answered with slight disgust in his voice.
"My question is this. What are we going to do with that fact that our three guests that are part of the Demon races that have just arrived do exist in this time period?" Megumi asked as she knew Wataru's guardians had been friends with her father and for that to have happened they had have been alive in 1986.
The Franken started to make the gesture to speak but The Merman had cut in off. "If you are even thinking about what I think your going to say Dogga than forget it. I am not going to work at that cafe again. I'd rather sleep with cats than live at that cafe. That dog still tries to eat me in 2008!" Basshaa pointed out. It wasn't that be didn't like working at the cafe, it was just that that dog the owner had was always trying to eat him in any form he took.
"Castle Doran is out of the question as I am not going to be under the same roof at a Fangire King." Garulu snarled out. The Wolfen could barely stand Taiga as it was, there was no way that he was going to be any where near the brat's father willing. "Plus I doubt that the high and mighty King would allow the three of us to even be in his presence with out trying to kill us."
"My place is open. There is plenty of room." Otoya said as he looked at Maya who nodded her head in agreement.
"I think it would be best if Wataru was in someplace that is known to her which in her case is the place she calls home." Taiga said as he reached to pick up his wife but was stopped by Garulu's clawed hand digging slightly into his wrist. Taiga rolled his eyes once again. He knew that Wolfens when they made a vow, that would stick by it no matter what. For Taiga, it was that fact that last member of The Wolfens just was very over protective Wataru to the same degree that he was of his own children. Also, there was that little fact that Garulu just couldn't stand him that much.
Garulu reached down and gently picked up Wataru who like she had done when she was younger when he was in either form curled up into his chest. He had done the same thing with his own children before he had to leave to protect them.
"This ought to be fun. Fangires, humans, and time travelers all living under one roof. Why do I get the feeling that I am going to be getting some major headaches." Kivat replied as he flew around the heads of the group before he landed softly on Wataru's chest.
"Now now Kivat-sempai, we made a promise that we would look after Wataru-Nee and it's not like you didn't get headaches before." Tatsulot pointed out as he flew into view and landed on Garulu's head which caused The Wolfen to growl.
"That was before you came into the picture and since that day my headaches have gotten worse." Kivat replied back.
Several eyes came out of their sockets at the sight of a Kivat and a Goldy Wyvern that were talking about Wataru.
King and Bishop were already aware of the two but the others weren't.
"I think that I am getting a headache at the moment from what is going on." Yuri said as she rubbed her temples to try and stop the oncoming headache that was forming.
"Welcome to my world!" Kivat yelled as he settled into a comfortable position on Wataru's chest before going to sleep as the fight with Knight had worn him out as well but he like Tatsulot would not sleep until they were sure that Wataru was safe. Tatsulot settled into comfy spot on top Garulu's head before falling asleep himself.
"Let's go home before anything else happens." Otoya pointed out as he had a feeling that things were about to get interesting to say the least.
Next chapter: The Arms Monsters from the future try and keep out of the way of their past selves while Keisuke and Megumi do some research on Knight's feeding habits. Megumi also finds out something about her father and understands why he left her mother.
